In first block, Chris finally approaches me. It took him a whole week, and I thought he was a player.

"What's up Shawty?" He said flashing me that sexy smile again.

"Didn't I tell you my name isn't Shawty, it's Kendra.

"My bad Kendra." He laughs. It was a sexy laugh too.

"Now that's better." I said taking my notebook out my book bag so I could write down the notes off the board.

"Chris please make you way to the other side of the classroom." Mr. Parker said.

"I am, I just asking Kendra can I borrow a pen or a pencil." Now that boy know he can lie.

"Kendra, can I borrow a pen or pencil please."

I handed him one of my pens.

"Thanks."

Chris kept looking at me across the classroom. I wanted to ask him what he was looking at, but I didn't want to look shame in front of the class. Chris is so sexy, but he looks like a troublemaker, and I don't need that in my life.

After class Chris stopped me in the hallway. "Kendra, wait up."

"What? You are going to make me late to my next class."

"I just wanted to know if you have a man."

"Nope, and I am not looking for one." I told him straight up.

"Well I'm going to make you mines," He said then walks away.

In my next class, one of Toya's friends was in my class. I think her name is Dondria. She was crazy and a big flirt. She goes around the classroom and dance for every boy, even the nerds.

"Aye yo Kendra, can you drop it like it's hot, like this?" She asked me dropping down into a split.

What kind of fool would do that in a classroom? Doesn't she have any respect for herself?

"Yeah I can that, but I won't do it in class."

A boy name Malik gone ask me can I dance for him. Way the hell was the damn teacher?

"Hell no, I'm not dancing for you."

"Please come on. I want to see you shake that phat ass for me." Hold the hell up. I know he didn't just call my ass fat.

"Boy don't be trying to play me. Nothing on my body is fat."

He looked confused. "Not fat as in F-A-T. I mean phat as in P-H-A-T."

Malik was a cute dude, but he doesn't know how to treat a girl.

"Well can you keep your eyes off my ass?" I said. I wonder what kind of class this is, because the teacher is not in here. I wanted to walk out.

Dondria came and sat next to me. "Girl, don't be like that. Show these boys what you got."

Oh no this hoe didn't. "Excuse you; unlike you I have respect for body and myself. I don't go around dance for boys in a classroom."

Everybody in the classroom started saying ooooohhhhh. Who does that? It is so kindergarten.

"First of all, you don't know anything about me, and second watch how you talk to me, I'm not Courtney or Amanda. I'll slap your ass down."

I stood up and throw my hands up. "If you so much of step in my face I'll beat your ass. Nobody going to slap me down or get in my face." I don't know what the hell wrong with these girls at this damn school. I swear it never was like this at my old school.

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes. Yeah, that bitch knew better.

Toya came to me after school asking me what happen with Dondria and me.

"She tried to get me to dance in front of the class with her and I told her that I have respect for myself unlike her."

"Oh well you have to excuse her sometimes," She laughed. I didn't see what was so funny. "Hey, umm walk with me to the store right quick. I got to pick up something.

That was my biggest mistake, let me tell you how it went down. When we got to the store there was a man waiting for Toya. Toya walked up to the man and got a bad full of weed. I was thinking to myself, what this girl getting me into.

"Let's go," said Toya. "I have to go to my mom house to drop this off then I'll take you home in my mom's car."

"Okay."

Toya lived in a nice looking house, but if she have a nice house, why her mother car look bad looking? Wow, what a shame. I wanted to wait outside while she go do what she had to do.

"Come on in with me," She told me. "I got to run this in the house right quick."

When we walked into the house, her mother was sitting on the couch with her bra and panties on. She looked nasty as hell. I glad my mom has more respect for her body then this lady. She needed to do something with her hair too.

"Hey mom, I got that stuff for you." Toya said walking in one of the rooms in the house.

"Thanks boo. Get you some to smoke with your friend." Her mother said. I hope she wasn't talking about me, because I don't drink or smoke. It's bad for me. I have asthma anyway. I'm not trying to die.

"Mom, I don't think she smoke or drink." Toya said taking a cigar out her coat pocket.

"Well we need to break this heifer down." Toya mother said. I know this skinny ass bitch didn't call me a heifer. Looking like a hoe sprung out on crack.

Toya shook her head. "Mom please respect Kendra."

"I'm sorry Toya friend." She started scratching her arm really hard. Toya started rolling the blunt after she done she lit it up. Toya started smoking it. I just looking at her. I really didn't want them to think I'm a punk. But I also don't want to die.

"Kendra take a hit." Toya said passing me the blunt.

I shook my head no. "I have asthma. I'm good."

He mom started laughing. I don't know what was so funny about that.

"Girl, you can't die from smoking." Her mom said.

"Naw I'm good. I don't even know how to inhale." I told them. Toya said the only thing have to do is pull it than breathe it in. I don't know why i let them talk me into doing this. My mom going to be so disappointed in me.

"How do you feel?" Toya asked me after I took about three pulls. I coughed a little bit too.

"I feel myself." And I did.

"It didn't sink in yet. Just give it a few more minutes." Toya said taking more pulls off the blunt than passing it to her mother.

Damn I started feeling light headed and dizzy. Next thing you know I was on their table dancing and laughing. I don't know what I was laughing at though.

"Do you have anything to eat I'm hungry?" All of a sudden I had the munches. I think I could eat anything at the moment.

"Yeah hold up." Toya said walking in to the kitchen and bring me back some oreo cookies. They were so good. I think I ate all of them too. I'm not sure.
