As I heard him asking me that I got confused. I tilted my head at him. "Why?' I asked him simply.

He chuckled and looked at me as I asked him that. "I simply want to see if I can see anything to do with the investigation that's all." He said to me.

As I was looking him I nodded my head and walked up the hill. "There's a place not too far. Maybe you can find something there." I said to him.

"Ah! Good idea. It's always the quiet ones!" He said to me.

We both started to walk to the place. As soon as we got there we got in and started to dig around the place. We was at it for a long while.

Then a car stopped and my auntie talked to the guest. "Mr Inugami! What are you doing? You shouldn't be doing that!" She said to him.

"Oh. I was helping Kabane since it might help with the investigation." Mr Inugami explained to her. "right, Kabane?" He asked me while looking at me.

I nodded my head at his words. "Right." I said to him and then got back to work. I noticed that Inugami was doing the same thing. He was working too.

As the day got on I felt like something wasn't right. I couldn't put my finger on what though. I looked around the place and then back down at the tool I using. Inugami must have noticed how I looked since he stopped and looked at me. "Kabane? What's wrong?" He asked me.

"She didn't come today." I simply said. I didn't pay attention to the confused look Inugami game. But there was something that caught my eye by the side of me. When I saw it my eyes widened a bit. There was four rice balls wrapped up on the floor.

I didn't notice her. . . How? I always notice when she comes. I wonder why she didn't say anything. . . . Oh she doesn't like other people.

I realized that Akuza didn't say anything to me because Inugami was here with me. She doesn't like talking to strangers when she can help it. Plus she probably saw we was hard at work.

I got out and washed myself with clean water. I picked up the rice balls. When Inugami saw me he got out too and washed up. "who are they off? A friend of yours?" He asked him.

I nodded my head. I guess she was my friend. So calling her that is okay I guess. We both started to eat while sitting down. "So where is this friend of yours? I'd like that thank them for this." Inugami spoke up.

"I don't know. She comes and goes. I've never actually seen her house before. She comes and sees me when I'm working." I explained to him.

"She huh?" He simply said to me. I nodded my head at his words.

The rest of the day went by okay, we did some work while trying to look for something but nothing was found. The next day during the light was the same thing too. Nothing but searching for the things that could be a clue. However I did find out something. The necklace I have on my body. . .

That was left by my parents but it's called a life stone. And it proves that my parents didn't abandon me. I was shocked since that's what I've always been tone. That my parents abandoned me and left me.

But now I know different.

Soon enough the night had finally come.
The night of the fully moon.
