Chapter 3: The Truth...
Alisas eyes whelmed with tears as she crouched at the corner of the tent. What was Abby's big announcement?
Abby called the crowd of partying girls in, and nobody was feeling okay. News travelled fast in that group, and everyone knew just what she did.
"I... Just want to say I'm sorry... I regret it.. All.. I'm going to be nice now... I promise" Her voice, said, as she brought tears to her eyes.
Lilly giggled. This was funny, "Buy me a unicorn!" She chanted. Many of the other girls stood there, in disbelief. Some believed her, but the majority couldn't let one sentence fix years.
"I.. I'll do anything.. Let me redeem myself! I'm so sorry.. What I did was so wrong!" She cried "I just want to see my daughter!"
Alisa was still in the corner shaking. She was still confused about those words.. Abby had never said things like that. But something about the crying mother asking for forgiveness drew her in. And she found herself a few seconds later, in her arms.
At this point, almost everyone believed it, I mean if her daughter could forgive her, they could to? But Maddie stood there. Not a single word was believed, And she couldn't help but feeling like this was going hurt Alisa more.
Stood at the edge of the tent, the mother, Kalani Hilliker. One of Abby Lee's previous students before jail time. Struggling to balance her two daughters, Olivia and Madalyn with a dance career and proven implausible, and she had left the limelight during AUDC Season 2. She was one of Alisas two Best friends, Maddie and her. They never seemed to be happy.
Everything went wrong for this trio, and although knowing Abby for less time then Alisa, she knew Abby well. Alisa told her everything, and Kalani couldn't put up with that cold hearted woman. Madalyn was 2, an age you could start dance at, and Kalani had no intention of sending her to the AUDC. But Abby had other ideas..
Abby held on to her dearest daughter. "I promise" She whispered. ((Second handed comment there Abby. Wow)). Alisa let go and skipped over to Kalani and Maddie. Every thing was going to be all right now.
Lilly chuckled "CARRY ME!"
Abby giggled, picking up the light young girl on her back.
"RUN SLAVE RUN!" Lilly yelled
Maddie looked at Alisa "I don't trust her."
Alisa looked back at Maddie confused "What..? Why? I do..."
Maddie shrugged.
Kalani stood off to the side, as Abby approached her. "How are my two babies! What age are they?" Her new, sweet voice smiled.
"Fine, Madalyn is 1 and a half, Olivia is a couple of months. She lied, not wanting to reveal that Madalyn was 2.
Abby nodded "They are so cute!" She squealed. "So, how's your career going?" Abby asked, despite knowing kalani had put her career on hold, acting she didn't.
".. Fine" Kalani said awkwardly, looking down to the ground.
Abby smiled at Kalani, a star student. "What's wrong?"
Kalani sniffled, being sick from her little ones "Nothing" She shrugged.
As the party finished up, Abby and Allen had left early. Brooke was staying to do some kind of clean up, as Maddie and Alisa skipped home. Alisa may of thought everything was okay, and Maddie thought not, but they were still best friends, no matter what.
Alisa skipped in the door, carefree and happy, whereas Maddie stormed in, muttering to herself. The two friends were like complete opposites.
The were greeted by Abby and Allen. Abby was chuckling to herself, as Allen turned to Alisa. "Want a snack?"
Alisas eyes widened. She was never offered food, and was sometimes screamed at for having food. "Yes please!"
Abby chuckled evily, as Allen had an evil grin on his face. "Whatcha want?"
Alisa shrugged "Anything. Why are you smiling?" She asked happily.
"Just happy for my beloved daughter!" Allen chuckled. He turned but then suddenly sat on Alisa's face "How about a butt sandwich?!"
Alisa's screams turn muffled as Allen's fat butt covered her face. Abby chuckled pulling out some rope from the closet.
Maddie stood there, basically paralyzed. She couldn't believe what was going on.
Abby laughed evily as she tied Alisa's hands together, and then tied her to a chair. Alisas eyes filled with fear. It was just like old times, and she couldn't bring herself to scream. It made it worse.
Allen jumped off Alisa, grabbing Maddie, and tying her to the other chair. Maddie was red with anger, and rage. "What the hell do you think your doing?! THIS IS ILLEGAL!"
Allen chuckled grabbing the duct tape, and in one swoop, attaching it to Maddie's mouth. Maddie squirmed around, as Allen attached a piece to Alisa's mouth.
Abby laughed evily. "So.. My pretty little ones". Allen Smirked as Abby continued. "You thought I'd changed? That I had forgiven your little act of bringing me to jail?"
Alisa sat there, shaking. Her eyes whelmed with tears, as Maddie squirmed. "You thought everything would be alright?" She scoffed. "Well. You thought wrong. Payback."
Allen smiled at his wife who was pacing around. "You. Are going to listen to us. Or your friends die. Brooke will be the first to die. Then Kalani. You better listen" She hissed.
"We own you now. Your not going to tell anyone about this. Or Brooke dies. Got it?" Alisa was in full blown tears at this point. How could such a happy day turn so terrible. Maddie was squirming still, screaming. It was muted through the tape.
Abby nodded at Allen as they grabbed their blades from their pockets. Abby pulled up Alisas sleeve, Allen repeating for Maddie. She began to etch out a design. Alisa winced, her face in utter pain. Maddie struggled. And as they finished the design, Abby chuckled and took a step back. She allowed them to read their shoulders, which were pooling with blood. And there read, a simple message.
Abby and Allen's property
How could they do this? That was wrong.. Abby chuckled evily as she untied them. Allen giggled, "Get out of my site!" His voice rang, as the two girls ran up the the stairs, scared for their lives.
"I told you not to trust her!" Maddie teased, at the complete wrong time.
Alisa groaned "Shush! Not the time!"
Maddie chuckled. "Are we sneaking out or not?" She asked as Alisa shook her head. "How can we? They'll notice.."
Maddie shrugged "Not if we jump out the window!" Alisa facepalmed "Fine. You go first though."
"What? I don't want to break a bone!" Maddie replied back. Alisa shook her head. "So, you were willing to let me break a bone to get out of here?"
"Uh.. maybe?"
Alisa sighed "Why don't we jump onto the tree and then climb down?"
"I'll scratch myself!" Maddie pouted, Alisa rolling her eyes. "Have any better ideas?"
"Uhh. How about using the door?" Maddie asked. Alisa giggled "Right. I didn't think of that."
So the two girls, snuck downstairs, opening the door and sneaking out. Alisa looked at Maddie "Lani's?" She asked. Maddie nodded. "Lani's." She agreed, referring to one of their best friends, Kalani.
