Chapter 2: A perfect Birthday
Maddie squealed as she was leaning against the wall of the tent. Her sixteenth birthday, and all friends would be there. I mean, Allen would be there to, but whatever.
Alisa smiled at Maddie as she finished up setting up the music. The guests would arrive soon.
Meanwhile, in the Martello household, Gia was leaning against a wall. She stuck a picture of Brooke to the dart board, And was currently throwing darts at her face. "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR CALLING ME AN MISTAKE!" She chuckled. Brooke had indeed called Gia a mistake.
Gia, in 2011, was given a contract to sign for dance moms. Obviously, she did so. At the young age she was, she didn't realise that she should read it. Abby, and the producers just told her to sign it.
A couple of months later, she found out the extremes of her contract. It went pretty far, as to stating that Gia would do whatever Jeff, the executive producer, said until 2025. Since Jeff was basically Abby's little slave, Gia had no choice to listen to every word of Abby.
Gia had always been great friends with Abby. It was strange, since they were so far apart agewise, but Gia had always been Abby's best friends since about 2008. Those times were good. They was no stress, nothing.
Gia sighed. Just thinking about it made her feel like throwing up. She described the contract as Jeff, pretty much owned her. She trusted Abby, and was truly upset when she went to jail. I mean that was her best friend. She vowed to always listen to Abby, and to continue helping her destroy her daughter.
You see, Gia had been told about Alisa. They met often, in Alisas comfort of her own 'home'. Abby always had her over. Alisa had been broken down, since she was about 6, and never really did anything wrong. She stayed quiet, when she had to, did what she was told, and never talked back.
Alisa wasn't like other children. She didn't go to school and make friends, or go outside to play. She was homeschooled, and occasionally came to the studio with Abby. She spent a lot of time in the basement, a place she felt scared and alone, but it was her home.
At this point, Gia didn't notice the bruises or cuts. Why would she? It was just a kid, someone who probably played outdoors. The quietness, and fear, she thought was normal. I mean she lived with Abby.. So she continued on her normal life.
Abby began to tell Gia things. That Alisa did. Alisa bit her, Alisa refused to come with her. Gia began to believe them all. When Broadway baby died, Abby didn't tell Gia she died of natural causes. She took the excuse of it and said Alisa killed her. Gia still, to this day, believed it. So as Abby began to tell Gia this web of lies, anger boiled in Gias blood. When Abby told her about how much she hated Alisa, and how she hurt her, Gia didn't seem to care. Right now, Alisa was a monster.
Alisa wanted more than anything to be on dance moms, to dance. But as soon as dance moms had begun, she was banned from the studio. Abby couldn't let it out she had a daughter. Gianna agreed, and Alisa instead stayed at home, with Allen.
At this point, all the girls on dance moms, didn't even know Abby had a daughter, not to mind an abused one. Gianna shrugged it off. When Abby went to jail, the anger filled up. She had been brainwashed, she thought Alisa deserved everything. She couldn't believe she would wreck Abby's name.
Gia couldn't do anything about it. She was civil to the little brat, and didn't hurt her. But by Jeff basically owning her, she didn't have a choice but to come to AUDC. She had flown to Australia the day before for holidays, and had to fly back so she could be at AUDC. It was exhausting. She already had to get permission to leave the country. This contract was killing her.
Moving back to Brooke, she was angry when Maddie and her stole STARBUCKS. It may only be a drink, but it could still ruin their names. But when she found out they didn't even read their contract, or rules, she lost it. She had made that mistake, and she couldn't let these girls she loved so much make the same mistake. Her anger built up, from Alisa, And the girls was yelled out, as she called them "Idiots!".
She thought it was understandable. I mean, they were. They didn't read the rules. She didn't bother telling them, that she to had been an Idiot. She continued by saying 'Abby made a lot of right decisions hating you!'. That may sound harsh, but it was anger. She couldn't let them make the same mistake.
What Brooke shot back, had changed Gia. 'Abby made a bad decision! Choosing you as her assistant Choreographer!'. Gia couldn't handle that.
See, when the other dancers wanted to be on Broadway, or have a TV show, she wanted to choreograph. She had been working for this job, since she was about 4. And for Brooke to go insult that, she couldn't. She began to have an anger attack and was shaking. She spent about 45 minutes shaking in anger, before breaking down into tears. She was a mess the following few weeks.
No matter what anybody did, Gia, turned up in pyjamas, no makeup, her hair in a messy bun, And generally a mess. The week Brooke, broke her, Gia turned up to competition late, despite never despite never doubt that before, with ripped and crumbled sheets of scores, in a folder that was falling apart. See Brooke won. It was about dancing, not her anger issues, and she couldn't help but storm of stage before she had to announce Brookes name. She didn't want Brooke to win. Brooke should die.
Jeff, forced her back on stage, where she had no choice but to announce that Brooke won, before running off stage crying. It wasn't okay.
After a few weeks of recovery, Gianna turned evil. She began to plot against Brooke and was mean to every one else.
Gia shrugged as she pulled out her notebook. She grabbed her pen and began to jot down ideas of how to punish Alisa for Abby. She wasn't getting away with this.
Back at the party, everything was booming. The party was loud, And everyone was dancing and having fun.
Allen was at the side, actually surprisingly, not sitting on anyone. A shadow lurked at the side of the tent slowly moving towards, Allen. Nobody expected to see her here. They had forgotten about her.
As the fat Shadow got nearer and Allen yelled "ABBY!" And hugged her, the party filled with a grim air. This couldn't be her right?
Alisa slowly backed away into the corner. Her worst nightmare had come true. Abby had come back... She promised to kill her last time Abby saw her. As her face turned pale, and her body shook, Allen sitting on Maddie's cake, Abby moved towards the centre of the room for an announcement, Alisa wanted to run, far, far away.
This was the end. She couldn't do this.. until she heard what Abby said.
