I'm fine now, but I was just DYING of embarrassment earlier 😩😩😩

My mom and I were just talking about when we return to our home country (Philippines) whenever it's possible to spend some time with our loved ones and all, I'm also going to be celebrating my 18th birthday there and if I wanted to I can invite some of my old friends and classmates for a little reunion party. Which is nice, then we started wondering about how their lives are doing now. Then, long story short, we somehow got to the topic of my looooooong ago elementary school crush (who also used to have a crush on me xD).

My mom, being the weirdo that she is, FOUND HIS FUCKING FACEBOOK PROFILE!!!!! Now I don't have FB anymore or any other social media except this if you consider it, so my mom found it *ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS* (note the sarcasm =_=) to tease me about her messaging him as she pretends to be me. I repeatedly and very vehemently told her not to, and at first I thought that she was only joking. OF COURSE she'd only be joking, right? RIGHT?!

But oh no no NO!!! I leave the room for literally ONE goddamn second, and when I got back I see her giggling like the total psycho that she is and that she ACTUALLY did message him! Pretending to be me, and saying that I was using my mother's messenger since I don't have an account and I just wanted to see how he and my old friends are doing!

Naturally I was freaking out and I didn't know what the hell to do as she just continued to laugh at me and saying it was no big deal! And keep in mind that the last time I saw and interacted with him and my other friends face to face was way back when we returned home around, I think, 2014 so that was pretty long ago! He actually replied pretty quickly and that was when I finally snatched the phone away from my mom, but I didn't know what to say. I am SUCH an awkward person, and it's been SO long since him and I last talked so I thought it must be so strange or bothersome for him to all of a sudden receive a completely random message from "me".

But we talked for a little and, well, it honestly wasn't so bad... He's really nice (not to mention still really cute LMAO 🤣), and I felt kinda giddy TBH. But when the chat ended and I gave my mom her phone back... UGH I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE COULD EMBARRASS ME LIKE THAT!!!! 😣😣😣

AND not to mention that she can read ALL of our messages (but of course none of them were bad or "inappropriate"). But oh...whatever.

I do kinda wanna talk to him again tho 😅

Sorry for the story/rant, I just needed to get that out of my system! And if you think I was overreacting that's okay, I was just so...AKSJSIDJSJKS
