{Chapter One:}
{Slowly but surely}

{ 3rd person}

"Hey dad!"

The young boy said. This young boy was no ordinary boy, of course not, No one is ordinary! This boy was something special, not only did he have very pale skin, not like a ghost, but a little paler than a normal human. And his short, blonde locks was the perfect pop of color for his normal clothes. And as you roll down his face a little you'll see a small, light red light hidden behind his locks. That's not normal? Now is it? Nope! This boy's face was part of a camera, he was born with it. He might've not liked getting weird stares while walking the streets, but he did feel special, like one of a kind. The rest of the camera being a monotone grey color, with a few shines or different shades of grey. The lens of his camera being smack dab in the middle of his face. It stuck out of his face a little, so he would have to watch we he walks but it didn't bother him much, the lens was a lighter grey than they rest, but other than that it wasn't very special. This boy's name was Cory. Cory lived in a little city in the land of Minecraftia. This city was big to him, but of course that's because he was so small! Today he would be starting first grade! He was almost so excited he could jump through the roof of his two story house, but with happiness comes nervousness. He was nervous of being rejected, scared of being bullied or even worse. But he shall push that to the back of his mind for now. Because while he was lost in thoughts his dad was calling his name.

"Cory? Hey Cory! Snap out of it!" His father said clapping his hands in front of his Son's face. Finally Cory realized his dad was calling his name and looked up to see what he wanted.

"Someone is at the door for you. They say they know you."
His father says quickly, almost so fast that Cory's little mind couldn't process it, but he heard it and quickly ran to the door.

"Hello?" Cory said poking his little head outside of the old, wooden door. That door had been there for ages, and yet no one has decided to fix it. Finally after a little time of waiting Cory fully stepped out of the door and onto the old, cobblestone sidewalk.

"Ya!" Cory heard behind him, but by the time he turned around he was tackled by a boy about his age. The boy quickly got up and apologized for his actions, but now was Cory's chance to make a friend.

"Hi there! I'm Cory and I live in this house-" he said pointing to the little house to his right. "It's great to meet you!" Cory said shaking the boys hand. But this boy wasn't really into handshakes and had just high-fived him instead.

"Hi there! My name is Nick and it's amazing to meet you! I've never really had friends, so you're gonna be my first one!" Cory stepped back a little in shock, a boy he had just met, and never talked to before already said they were friends. Nick quickly caught on to why Cory stepped back. So he finally spoke-

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to come to such easy assumptions! We don't have to be friends if you don't want, I'll just go hang out with my other 'friend' if you'd like me too." While he boy was talking Cory studied what he looked like and what he was wearing. Nick had brown eyes that would shine even if they weren't in sunlight. He was also wearing a black shirt with a red square in the middle. In the middle of that square was a big white 'M.' He was also wearing a pair of sneakers and jeans.

"Wait, you said your friend? Who's your friend?" Cory said still questioning if he should trust Nick or not.

"Oh yeah! My friend Adam!" (Not skydoesminecraft, AdamRodriguezGaming) "He's like the best friend ever! We're practically brothers! I know everything about him and he knows everything about me!" His eyes shined brighter than the sun as he said that.

"Well, I'd love to meet him, but I have to go to school. Could we meet later?"

"Actually I'm going to school too! Go grab your bag and I'll show you his house!" Nick finally finished the conversation and practically pushed Cory up the steps and up to his door. Cory opened the door and told his dad he was going to meet a new friend.

"What's the boy's name?" His father asked.

"Well the boy I'm meeting, his name is Adam. The boy I'm going with is my new friend Nick."

"Okay, as long as you're Hong with someone I'll let you go." And with that Cory grabbed his backpack and headed out the door.

"Ready to meet the funniest dude of your life! He's awesome at making puns and jokes, they make me laugh everytime!"

"Yeah, I've got everything I need for school, so we can go!"

"Okay, before we go I have to grab my backpack, I'll be right back!" Nick said running off.

"Okay! I'll wait here for you!" Cory said waving to Nick as he ran to his house.
~Nick's Pov~

I finally made it to my house! I felt like I've been running for hours, but that's probably because my strides aren't very big and I can't run that fast. I ran through the door and walked up to my bedroom door. I opened it, grabbed my backpack and a lunch and tried to get trough the door before I was stopped by-

"Nick dear where do think you're going?!" It was my mom, shocker!

"I'm gonna go see my friend." I said in a kinda annoyed tone, I mean, I am. Who wouldn't be if you're going somewhere and your parents stop you to give you a lecture, or talk about something you honestly don't care about.

"Who's your friend?" My mother asked raising an eyebrow an me.

"My friend Adam, the one I'm really close too." I said turning around to look at her.

"Dear, you knew I don't like that kid! He's a bad influence on you and yet you still and out with him! Remember last time when-"

"Okay mom I get you don't like Adam! But I'm going with my new friend Cory as well, he's never met Adam before plus Cory is an A+ student so he could help me with homework and stuff!" I said practically begging her to let me go. She was never a big fan of Adam and to be honest I didn't know why, but I didn't want to ask her either.

"Fine, if you're going with someone else I'll allow you too, just try not to get caught by the police or something!"

"Okay mom I won't bye now!" I said walking out the door, finally after what felt like forever I met back up with Cory and we headed on our way to Adam's house.

Finally I finished the first chapter! My finger hurts so much >~< but this is a normal chapter length, cause I like long chapters! So I'm going to go to bed now I'm super tired, BYE~
