Lucy's body slipped into a very decorated dress of silk and lace. It was a snowy white in color, down to her ankles and long sleeves. Then to add a large cloak she wore hanging from her shoulders lined with white fur and was a navy blue color
"How did you get enough jewels to pay for such luxurious clothing?"she asked in astonishment.
"I have my connections,"Loki smirked in a cocky way.
"I believe I owe you a 'thank you'. How may I repay-"
"My loyalty is to you, you need not repay for anything I give you,"Loki interrupted her speech.
"But I must-"
"You have much more pressing duties to focus than repaying me,"Loki tapped her nose,"All you can give me now, is to be the one to rise to power to rule over this dire country."
Lucy nodded,"Virgo and the twins should be arriving at any second. We should not be distracted from our goal."
Loki stepping forward,"Until then, I must say you look like an angel."
Lucy couldn't help but blush at such a compliment. She lowered her head to hide her reddened face.
"If I would've known you could be that cute, I would've said it earlier,"he grinned.
"Do not act so coy!"she yelled from embarrassment. Her hands lifted the hood of the long cloak to cover her head,"Let us walk outside and wait for them there."
Loki stepped to the side to let her pass. She walked with him behind her out of the building. Her steps were slow and careful, graceful. The steps of the male were harder, it was easier to hear the tapping against the floor from his shoes, pacing slower due to the woman in front of him. The way they walked were both different in many ways. He seemed to walk without a care, as her was more like sliding than walking, yet more cautious.
Loki slid past her, opening the door for her so her hand wasn't spoiled by the infested handle of the tall red wood door marking the entrance of the inn they has stayed in for the night and for that morning and afternoon. The evening set their departure.
Loki sighed lightly, naturally as he closed the door,"They should be here very soon,"he stated, standing next to her,"I will be accompanying you to your destination, so do not worry."
Lucy chuckled, moving her head a bit to give him a mocking side glance,"Who said I was afraid you were not joining me?"she smirked.
"From your timid manor, I only assumed my fair lady~"he gave her a light smile,"Do take pity, I am only a mere slave to your beauty, I can only spout words of nonsense to you~"
"You jest,"she laughed lightly into her hand, noticing her faint breath could be seen rolling into the air.
"I do? You have me mistaken, I-"Loki froze before continuing, leaning down for only her to hear his words,"Princess, I seem to be in quite a predicament."
Her smile turned to a frown instantly, her eyes slowly scanning the area, but was sure not to move her head,"Tell me,"she spoke softly.
"My party seems to have visited Hargeon and are making their way near,"he explained.
"Fairy Tail?"Loki's silence was enough to answer her question,"I guess it would become quite suspicious if you were to accompany me at this time if Virgo and the twins come now."
"Very, unless I can make an excuse."
"Say whatever is necessary."

Loki nodded, straightening his posture next to her.
