I don't want to keep you guys from reading so I'm going to be quiet now.

        "I'm sorry (y/n), but I couldn't let you die too. And don't think this means that I'm going to die now. I won't," Add said to himself. Q-Proto had already taken (y/n) away. He heard (y/n)'s continuous shouts for him. They were filled with anger, frustration, and most of all, sadness. Add almost had second thoughts of his modified plan. Just hearing (y/n) calling out to him made him want to leave right along with her, but that wouldn't guarantee either of their survival. Just as Q-Proto had said, she could only go so far away from the explosion. That was where Add's modified plan came into play.

        He wasn't going to be able to stop the explosion, but he could most certainly decrease its blast range. He looked back to the timer. Three minutes left. Add didn't have any time to waste.

        He had figured out how (y/n)'s tattoos worked. It wasn't because of her nanotech, but it was her will power that pulled her items from the voids that she created. Add had also memorized where the nanotech shield was and he'd used his own will power to pull the item from the tattoo when he hugged (y/n). Of course, she hadn't noticed him doing this and the nanite shield wasn't activated, so it was still compacted into a small disk-like structure no larger than a coin. Add needed the shield in order for his plan to work.

        He entered dynamo configuration mode and used one of his skills, EMP Shock. The timer faltered just as Add expected which gained him 30 extra seconds, all he needed to carry out his plan. From the very beginning, Add had come up with a plan for both his and (y/n)'s escape if things got too bad. His plan hadn't included having to evade a large and deadly bomb, but his plan still might save his and (y/n)'s life. "It's time to end this once and for all," Add muttered.

        He used his dynamos to scan for the bomb's exact location. It turned out to be embedded within the core itself which only helped Add out. He activated the nanite shield that was supposedly able to withstand (y/n)'s most powerful skill. Add made sure to connect the shield so that it completely surrounded the core. He check the timer. One minute left. "Damned timer," he said as he realized that he lost a minute of time. The 30 seconds that he'd gained were ultimately wasted. He didn't have enough of it to waste by backing away from the core before using his own most powerful skill.

        Add took aim at the core and attacked it using Doom's Day. A large energy surge was the result and it blasted particles in every direction at alarming speeds. Something zoomed past Add's neck, nearly slitting his throat in the process. Add was blown backwards by the surge as well but he was able to see that the explosion that Doom's Day was causing was canceling out the explosion that the core was causing. The explosion was taking place now, leaving Add without any time to think about his actions. Even if he did have time to consider his actions, Add couldn't move either way.

        The explosions were reacting and creating some sort of electokinetic feild. This was a probkem that Add couldn't solve, and it was hindering Add's final step in his plan. Even if he were to succeed, the final step wouldn't go as planned. "I have to give it a try," Add thought. He released himself from dynamo configuration mode which allowed him a bit more freedom while being stuck in the slowly expanding feild. The fact of the matter was that he was too late. The explosion's slow progress was no longer slow and the light that was being generated by the canceling explosions was expanding.

        It blinded Add to the point where he had no choice but to close his eyes and he couldn't tell where the switch to trigger Phase Shift was located. He could only trust his instincts to get him out of this one, and it seemed highly unlikely that the increase of the electokinetic feild's force would allow him to proceed at all.

        "I guess I really am going to die huh, (y/n). But maybe you can still find that place on your own. Too bad I won't be able to see it," Add thought knowing good and well that (y/n) couldn't hear his thoughts. Add made a last attept to remember a specific memory that he wouldn't mind reliving. The only bad part about trying to remember something is when all you can remember is bad things. Add couldn't shake the memory of himself leaving (y/n) behind to go to Altera Core alone. It was now the last thing he thought of along with (y/n)'s screams for him to come with her. "I won't let that happen again," he thought.

        Just as the light reached its peak, Add flipped a switch not even knowing if it was the right one or not. The light suddenly disappeared and the electokinetic feild did as well. Despite that, Add had no time to look anywhere else but the timer. It was no longer there since it was destroyed by the two explosion's interaction.

        Then, just as quickly as the light disappeared, it reappeared in the form of searing heat and it yelled death. This was the remaining energy left over from the two explosion's interactions. Even with Doom's Day taking away most of the bomb's power, it was still enough to wipe out the entire center of the city. The explosion, as well as its brilliant white light, blasted upwards due to (y/n)'s nanite shield. It could be seen from miles away, yet the only part of Altera that was truly damaged was the center of it as well as the heart of one of its current residents, (y/n).
