        Add didn't plan on going anywhere but he had the urge to go outside only moments after Elsword and (y/n) left. Something in his mind told him to stay outside until she came back. (Y/n) might have been surprised to see him once she returned.

        Instead of just standing around though, Add decided to test out the modifications on his dynamos on the surrounding trees. After a while, he got a little bored and looked over his results. "Still not good enough," he said to himself. Just moments after that, he heard a sound coming from nearby bushes. His dynamos immediately reacted by circling him protectively. He kept his gaze on the area until Shiro revealed himself. The cat went up to Add mewling as it rubbed its fur against his leg.

        "Shiro what are you doing here? Weren't you with (y/n)?" Add said as he tried to pick Shiro up but the cat avoided him and kept mewling. That was when realization struck him. Shiro was with (y/n) but if Shiro was now here without her, she must have been in trouble.

        "Stay here," Add told Shiro. He didn't really know if Shiro understood him or even if the cat would do as he said, but he wasn't really worried about that at the moment. Add went in the direction that Shiro had come from without hesitation. It wasn't long before he got to the outskirts of Altera and it was there that he saw them. The El Search Party was fighting amongst themselves with Ciel, a white haired little girl, and, if Add remembered correctly, Raven keeping them from getting by.

        A purple haired girl was running closer to where a green haired girl was assaulting Elsword and (y/n) with arrows. Elsword was shielding (y/n) from most of the arrows. Add could tell that he'd been hit one too many times, yet still stayed where he was protecting her. Add got to them just before the purple haired girl did. She hadn't noticed him until it was too late.

        "EMP Wave," Add said, standing in front of Elsword and (y/n). His dynamos performed the corresponding attack and the purple haired magician was unable to counter it. She and the archer were affected by it and were thrown to the ground by its force. Add took this opportunity to go to (y/n)'s side and check her pulse. It wasn't too weak but Add wasn't taking any chances. He used his wristband to teleport all three of them back to the outside of the lab. Elsword let him take (y/n) into his arms and Add cradled (y/n) hoping that she was still awake.

        "I'm sorry...Add. I couldn't protect her," Elsword said. Add didn't answer him. He was indeed mad about (y/n) getting hurt, but something told him that it wasn't really Elsword's fault.

        "(Y/n)...wake up," Add said ignoring Elsword's comment.

        "But I wanna sleep right now," she protested keeping her eyes closed. Add shook his head at her although she couldn't see him.

        "You can't sleep right now. Don't you understand that you're dying right now? If you don't wake up, I can't save you," Add said. This seemed to convince her into keeping consciousness. She openned her eyes and looked around, finally focusing her gaze on Add's eyes. She smiled at him and Add didn't need to ask to know what she was thinking. "Get Shiro," Add ordered Elsword.

        Once Shiro was secure, Add poked Elsword's arm so that he could teleport them all into the lab without making too much contact. He immediately took (y/n) to her room and lay her across her bed. The bleeding had not stopped but Add didn't care about messing up her sheets. He'd deal with that later. "Where did you put the case of nasod nanites?" Add asked her. He already knew, but he needed to keep (y/n) in a conversation to make sure that she didn't lose consciousness.

        "Umm...at the top of my bookshelf somewhere...at least I think it's still there. Probably not a good time to be forgetting something so important huh," she said. Add was glad that she kept talking. That's exactly what he wanted her to do.

        "What exactly happened out there?" he asked her since he really couldn't think of anything else to calmly say. He glanced at her only to find regret written all over her face. "If you don't want to talk about it right now, I can just ask you later." Add brought the case to her and openned it. He hoped that she would catch the mistake that he made on purpose and she did.

        "Add wait! You forgot to electrically charge them. They won't work if you don't," she said. Add nodded.

        "So what do I do to electrically charge them?" he asked although he of course already knew the answer.

        "You already know that don't you. Why are you making me talk huh? If you really want to know though, just use your dynamos. I'm sure you can figure out the rest," she said. Light laughter could be heard from her which meant she was going to be okay. Add circled his dynamos around the case of nasod nanites until electricity could visibly be seen on them.

        "Okay...you might want to think a lot of happy thoughts or something," Add muttered. (Y/n) gave him a confused look until he dumped the case's contents onto her open wound. (Y/n) cursed and winced from the contact of the extra nanites. Their purpose was to connect to the other nanites already in her blood and boost her regenerative power. She would recover a lot faster but the cost would be an uncomfortable inconvenience. The nanites even repaired her clothing which Add found quite interesting.

        When the nanites finished their job, they flew back into the case like magnets. Add watched them for a moment longer and then put the case back where it belonged. When he turned back to (y/n), she had her eyes closed. "(Y/n)...are you okay?" he asked her. She didn't answer him and Add panicked. He went to her side and took her hand into his. He spread her hand across his cheek and nuzzled it. "(Y/n), wake up. Don't sleep yet," Add whispered. She was breathing softly but it was still faint and that didn't settle well with Add. He felt the warmth of (y/n)'s hand on his cheek as she slept. As he closed his eyes, possibly about to fall asleep himself, (y/n) stroked his cheek before moving her hand away.

        Add met her gaze and just looked at her. She looked so fragile while lying there on her bed. "Can we take Elsword home tomorrow. I think his friends will want him back now," she asked. It bugged Add that Elsword was the first thing she asked about.

        "Why do you want him to leave so badly?" Add asked a little harshly.

        (Y/n) smiled and said, "He can be very annoying at times and if he isn't around then you'll have no choice but to go with me when I go outside." She looked at him with a look of triumph as though she had just fought an entire army and won. Add couldn't help but smirk at her antics.

        "You'll be alright in here on your own until I get back won't you?" Add asked as he took her hand again and put her palm to his cheek. He closed his eyes, feeling the warmth of her hand against his face again.

        "Yeah...I think so. I should fix some things in those nanites later. I think there are some errors that keep them from functioning at full capacity," she replied. She was going back to sleep again but Add didn't want her to, so he rubbed his cheek against her hand causing her to laugh at him.

        "What are you doing that for?" she asked him. Add opened his eyes only slightly so that the worry in them didn't show.

        "No reason. I just wanted to," he replied. In truth, he enjoyed her affection more than she realized. (Y/n) sat up and it startled him for a moment. He didn't think the nanites would leave her with enough energy to get up just yet.

        "I'm feeling all better now but there is one thing that I want to do," (y/n) said.

        "And what might that be?" he asked as he closed his eyes again.

        "I want to change clothes, so do you mind leaving?" she politely declared. Add sighed and let her hand go. He didn't want to leave but she did need her privacy, so he closed her door on his way out.
