Here we are in another chapter. You guys ready for something new? On with the chapter!

        Elsword had been a prisoner for almost two years now. It wasn't all that bad either. Of course he still missed being with the El Search Party and his sister. In fact, he still desperately wanted to go back home to them. His reason wasn't just so that he could just go home. He also wanted to tell everyone that Add and (y/n) weren't that bad at all.

        They'd kept him safe and treated him quite nicely. Despite that though, he was still their prisoner, but they had become his friends. He trusted them with his life since he quite literally had no other choice. (Y/n) would switch out his restriction at the end of every month which was what he was about to have done. She had to replace the nanotech explosive with a new one to make sure that nothing bad happened to him.

        Elsword grimaced a little. "Sorry about that," (y/n) apologized. Elsword was lying on the floor with his head in (y/n)'s lap as she worked on switching out the nanotech explosive. Add of course was sitting on the couch no too far away. He was doing something on one of his holographic computers, but Elsword had long since figured out that Add was just faking to keep an eye on him. (Y/n) didn't seem to realize it though. "Hey be still. If you keep moving, you might cause me to set this thing off by accident," (y/n) hissed. That got Elsword to be still.

        After a few more minutes, (y/n) was done. "There you go. All set," (y/n) announced. Elsword sat up and found himself staring straight at Add.

        "Can we go now?" he asked. Add tried to ignore Elsword but when he glanced over at (y/n), he sighed in defeat.

        "Fine. Go ahead and go, but I swear if anything happens to (y/n), I'm going to kick your ass. Got that?" Add said. Elsword grinned and looked back to (y/n) who had summoned her dynamas. Add had given her a wristband so that she too could teleport into and out of the laboratory at will. Because of that, Elsword was required by Add to go with her so that nothing happened to her.

        (Y/n) poked Elsword's face and teleported them both outside. They hadn't left the laboratory in weeks now, so Add had no choice but to let them roam the streets of Altera. Yes, they'd finally gotten to Altera but Elsword hadn't been returned yet. He was given the opportunity several times since he had seen the El Search Party often while outside with Add.

        Add had told him that he could let him leave now that he and (y/n) were safely in Altera, but Elsword had turned down those offers. He had gotten used to having a carefree life and Add was the coolest person to be around sometimes. He did miss the action that came with being in the El Search Party but Add let him do whatever he wanted. It was really up to him when he wanted to go home, yet making the decision was always too hard for him to do.

        "Hey, can you hold Shiro for a second," (y/n) said snapping him from his thoughts.

        "When did you bring Shiro?" Elsword asked as he held the cat.

        "When you weren't paying attention," (y/n) said as she seemed to search her arm for the right tattoo. "Here we go," she muttered as she summoned a strange stone from a tattoo.

        "What is that?" Elsword asked as the two of them began to walk to some unknown destination.

        "I don't know yet. I'm going to find Adel and ask him if he knows what it is," she responded.

        "Hey isn't Adel the one who told Add about the Altera Core?" Elsword asked as he stroked Shiro's fur.

        "Yeah but Add hasn't been able to fully manipulate the power of that core. I'm thinking that Eve might have something to do with it, but I'm just guessing," (y/n) replied. She held an expression of true perplexity as she seemed to be thinking about how to help Add. Elsword noticed her doing this a lot more often than usual.

        Add had changed quite a lot since getting to Altera. Elsword noticed that he and (y/n) were gaining a greater interest in Eve's capabilities which worried him. "Maybe we can head to the Altera Core after we figure out what that thing is. I'm sure there must be plenty of clues to help you out there," Elsword suggested.

        "Are you crazy? We can't go there by ourselves. Add would kill us. We're already not supposed to be going to any busy parts of town!" (y/n) said. She had a point, but Elsword was curious about what really was in the Altera Core. He didn't nag her about it though. Add had told him that he was annoying whenever he did that and when he asked (y/n) about it, she only laughed at him never giving a definite answer.

        Shiro got tired of Elsword holding him and jumped down to walk ahead of them. When they finally got to Adel's house after a lot of walking in alleys and shadows, they were anxious to know what the mysterious stone was. Shiro kept walking between (y/n) and Elsword as though they were trees.

        When (y/n) knocked, Adel immediately opened the door. The pongo's face when pale, if that was at all possible, when he saw them. "You two? No you can't be here right now! Leave immediately! You are in danger (y/n). They're here! There here in Altera!" Adel said. He had his door cracked as he shooed them away.

        It didn't take long for them both to realize what Adel meant. "(Y/n)...?" Elsword said as he looked at (y/n). She was backing away from the door slowly. She was scared and Elsword could see the fear in her eyes.

       "...Run," she whispered. She grabbed his hand and ran. The streets weren't that busy, but people still had to move out of their way. Shiro, who was running with them, suddenly hissed. (Y/n)'s hand was suddenly ripped away from his own as she was tackled to the ground by someone that Elsword knew. Elsword skidded to a halt and pushed Rena off of her.

        "Come on!" he said as he pulled (y/n) up from the ground and started to run again. He let her hand go once she was running at the same pace as he was. She was close to passing him but she glanced back and saw something that caused her to slow down. "Elsword watch out!" she shouted as she pushed him to the ground. He didn't register what was happening until he felt blood splattering across his face. He looked to (y/n) to find her on the ground bleeding.

        Shaken with fear, he looked at the attacker only to find that it was his own sister who planned on attacking him but hit (y/n) instead. "Just as I predicted," Elesis muttered. She dropped her sword and looked over to Elsword with a smile. She walked over to him, got on her knees, and surrounded him in a tight hug but Elsword didn't want a hug.

        "Why...you were going to attack me...why," he whispered as his eyes began to tear up. (Y/n) was struggling to stand but was kicked to the ground buy Rena who suddenly appeared after catching up.

        "No stop!" Elsword shouted as Rena picked up the stone that (y/n) was holding. Elesis hugged him tighter.

        "It's okay Elsword. You're safe now. I've got you now. I wasn't going to hurt you. I only aimed for you because I knew that she would save you," Elesis whispered. Elsword was starting to shake but he couldn't determine which emotion fueled it.

        "Let me go!" Elsword shouted as he pushed Elesis away from him and crawled to (y/n)'s side. The entire El Search Party was around him now. (Y/n) had her eyes closed and Elsword feared that she was dead. Her dynamas was still around her on the ground. Elsword picked her up and held her in his arms. As he stood up carrying her, he could feel the stares from his teammates.

        "Elsword what are you doing? Put her back down. You're getting blood all on your clothes," Elesis said.

        Elsword glared at his sister. "Isn't it obvious. I'm saving her," he snapped. Elesis just looked at him in shock. "(Y/n) can you hear me? Are you still conscious?" he asked desperately. (Y/n) opened her eyes and stared up at him and smiled.

        "Hey...looks like you're okay," she said. She was hurt but she wasn't going to die as quickly as Elsword assumed. Even so, Elsword couldn't allow her to bleed to death.

        "Elsword. You're free now. You can come back home. You don't have to side with those criminals anymore," Rena said as she walked closer to Elsword as he held (y/n).

        "(Y/n), I need you to get us out of here with that wristband of yours," Elsword pleaded as he stepped away from Rena.

        "Elsword snap out of it. Can't you see that you're aiding in the escape of a fugitive if you help her. She's on death penalty anyway. It won't matter if she dies," Aisha shouted. She too was walking closer to him.

        "Elsword. You have to run. Add will come for me so don't worry," (y/n) said as she tried to get down. Elsword let her get down but she leaned on his shoulder to keep herself steady. Rena and Aisha backed up once they saw her standing. Her dynamas circled her and she looked at everyone around her. "Get out of here Elsword," she commanded but Elsword refused to leave.

        "Everyone stay back or I'll be forced to fight you!" Elsword shouted at the El Search Party. They all seemed surprised by this...well everyone except Elesis.

        "To think my own brother would switch to the path of evil," she muttered sadly. "Everyone, stop them from escaping at all costs. Do not use lethal force on Elsword." The El Search Party was reluctant to adhere to the orders. Elsword saw this as his chance. He quickly swept (y/n) off her feet and ran strait towards Aisha hoping that she'd try to avoid him. She did but sent a fireball after him which would have hit him if Ciel hadn't blocked the attack.

        "Go Elsword. I know why you want to save her and it is not a bad reason," Ciel said. Elsword nodded and wasted no time in running off.

        "I'll support you with my dynamas...that way you won't have to worry too much...about any stray attacks," (y/n) said as her dynamas charged themselves with electricity. Elsword was grateful that she was still trying to help him but he alsohated that she wanted to help him. He was the reason that she was now hurt, and that was something that Elsword had a problem with. It wasn't long before arrows wisked past him. Rena was catching up to him and if she did, things would not be pretty.

The time skip occured so now Add is 17 now and he is Lusa! Elsword is technically Rune Slayer now but this is an Add story so let's not worry about that. I almost passed my word limit for real this time so until next time!
