The beam incinerated everything in its path. The platform in its way was burned through like plastic coming into contact with molten metal. Perhaps King Nasod himself hadn't realized it would happen, but he unintentionally exposed the panel keeping his main generator hidden. The top was completely charred away along with the Crow Prototypes that had once been there. A hole was left behind on the wall leading out to the sky around Altera's island.

        Add, (y/n) and Dynamo were all safe. Raven let out the breath he had held in. "You did good, kid." He held both of them close not minding how they remained glued to him while their shock faded. They had practically freed him. There was no way he'd let them die. Not like the others had.

        "Again you show your true alignment, Raven. I knew you would never agree to help me reach my goal. Such a shame tha-" Raven ignored King Nasod's monolog.

        Earlier while Add was fighting on his own, Raven managed to destroy one of the generators just before it disappeared leaving just two smaller power sources left. The main generator was exposed due to King Nasod's own attempt to get rid of them. There was only one thing left to do.

        "Do you trust me, kid?" Raven asked.

        "Don't ask me that right now. We have to hurry. He'll fire at us or worse if we're still for too long." Add had no energy left. The weird purple aura that Raven had seen around him before was nowhere to be found.

        "Dynamo took most of his energy, and he probably just used even more of it with that blast," (y/n) observed. "We can beat him. We can win." She didn't appear to be tired, but Raven could see bruises on her arms from where she had defended the tiny nasod that she was still holding on to. Any more damage could begin to turn fatal if she wasn't careful.

        Raven picked them up. "It's thanks to you two that I got out of his control. I'm making sure you two get out of here safely." He looked back at the hole in the wall. As he did so, the nasod that (y/n) was holding regained his functions. "You going to stop me?" he asked it.

        "Put me down," Add demanded as he weakly fought Raven's grip. He wouldn't have been able to pry away the nasod arm even if he did have the strength to. "Dynamo, stop him. That's an order."

        "Denied. Your safety is this unit's top priority. I cannot comply with that order." Add flinched at those words. "Spacial transportation is avaliable. This unit has enough power to move to another location. Mr. Nasod Arm, I only have the capacity to take two with me at once."

        "Go on. I'll be alright. My airship isn't far from here. Take them there." Raven was glad that he wouldn't have to fight through a different escape route.

        Missiles sounded from behind them. "Crap, I was careless!"

        Add flicked his wrist and sent his dynamos to easily destroy them. It seemed he did still have terrifyingly accurate control over those weapons. Raven still could not understand how they worked.

        "Spacial transportation confirmed," Dynamo announced.

        "Dynamo, don't-!"

        In a flash of light, they were all gone, leaving Raven behind to face King Nasod alone. He laughed to himself. "This is just the end that I deserve," he muttered. Heat surged into his nasod arm. "Listen well, King Nasod! This is the last time you'll ever torment another person! You've just become the very thing that you wanted to stop!"

        There were no Crow Prototypes to stop him. His nasod arm burned. The heat gathering there hurt him more than he could even begin to describe, but he ignored the sensation and let the power continue to gather there. Crows of fire and ashes began to form in the air above him as he charged towards the main power generator. He drew his blade and used a blast from his arm to propell him upwards into the air.

        He remembered them all. The faces of the people he had lost were flashing through his mind. He even saw Add and (y/n) despite not knowing them for very long. For all of them he would atone by sacrificing himself. The thought of it brought him a sense of self-satisfaction.

        King Nasod moved his hand to attempt to knock Raven down from the air, but he was far too sluggish to put and end to the attack. The burning crows collided with the generator and Raven plunged his sword into it immediately afterward causing a spiral of flames to burst forth from the impact. Just as soon as the attack landed, Raven was thrown backwards by the explosion that followed. Before he could land on anything that was sure to kill him from the impact, an electrical field slowed his speed and caught him. The familiar color made it obvious as to who was responsible.

        Add was indeed there surrounded in that mysterious aura yet again. The small nasod from before was with him also covered in the same purple energy. Add hands were placed against the nasod's sides as they both floated together in the air. "No one is going to die!" Add snapped at him.

        "Kid, what are you doing here?" Raven asked in disbelief. How could the boy have any sort of power left in him?

        "Stop calling me that! My name is Add!" He used the virus code to bring out the last two generators. King Nasod was already malfunctioning and sparking from the destruction of his primary power generator. "And I'm sick of people trying to make decisions for me!!" He aimed his power, the stolen power from King Nasod, directly at the core keeping the giant nasod concious. "I'm a medic, a genius! No one in this world can or will stop me!! You hear me!!" It became clear that Add was no longer speaking to Raven. He let his borrowed energy run free. It was all returned to its original owner as an energy field. It formed around King Nasod like a box, large enough to affect the remaining generators as well. The center of it formed a circle shaped vortex of some sort.

        Raven found that the fatal combination of power was full of color and shimmered even as it destroyed everything it touched. Raven felt his injuries slowly fading just enough to tolerate as he watched the spectacle before him. It was truly a sight to behold.

        Add kept his eyes on the giant nasod even as his power faded. The chamber began to collapse having taken as much damage as it could withstand. Raven assumed for sure that this would be how everything ended for him, but Add's rescue was not over. Before Raven even realized it, a flash of light shifted his scenery from the inside of Altera Core to the deck of the Black Crow airship. He was finally laid down against the floor to rest. Add's hands slipped off Dynamo's frame and his weapons clattered against the floor.

        "Add!" The boy's aura dissipated and he fell forward into (y/n)'s arms.

        "You have done well, child," Dynamo began to speak in a voice that was not his own. Add was far too exhausted to react, so (y/n) did so for him.

        "Dynamo? What's gotten into you all of a sudden?"

        "The chip that this nasod is currently operating on was made by me. It's only natural that I can access it." The little nasod displayed nothing on its interface. "I must apologize to both you and the boy. I initially sent my creations after him to keep the existence of nasods in the past. Knowledge of his caliber is a recipe for disaster. However, I made the decision far too hastily. The things I witnessed through this nasod have shown me that."

        Raven had no idea what was going on, but he listened for there was nothing else he could really do but lay there in silence.

        "You're the coward that started all this," Add mumbled, still fighting to remain awake.

        "Coward? Perhaps I am. Whatever the case, I am letting you know that I will no longer interfere in your life. You have made it clear that you do not intend to sit back and allow it." A laugh, one that held old secrets, came from Dynamo. "You will do well for this world. I know that now. As a gift, you may keep this chip for your nasod companion. None of my creations will bother you again. You have my word."

        "Who are you?" (y/n) asked.

        "I am the creator of nasod race, child. You have just destroyed one of my greatest creations, and for good reason. I have high hopes for the three of you. Do stay alive until we meet one day."

        "Forget it," (y/n) hissed. "You're crazy if you think we're going anywhere near you!"

        "Oh?" The surprise in the old human's voice couldn't be hidden.

        "Add's done with nasods. You're going to have to take your sick fantasies somewhere else." She pulled Add closer to her. He was out cold now and would be for quite a while. "If you even dare to try pulling him back into the world of nasods, I'll find you. I'll find you myself and I'll end you along with whatever is left of your creations' history." The ice cold words had Dynamo silent for a moment.

        "Then this is where we will part ways. Do take care of yourselves, children."

        The nasod's screen glitched, bringing the amicable digital voice back to them. "Master (Y/n)? Have I done something wrong?" He blinked at her. "Are Master Add and Mr. Nasod Arm okay?"

        "Mr. Nasod Arm??" Raven questioned. Was that supposed to be him?

        "Yes, they're fine. Thank you, Dynamo." The girl didn't move from her spot. "The ship was empty when we got here. We won't be able to fly it on our own."

        "Leave that to me. I can put the ship on an autopilot flight to a destination of your choosing," Raven spoke up. "It's the least I can do."

        "I just...want to go home," she quietly told him. He didn't know what place it was that she called home,, but he did know that the whole ordeal was over. Everyone was safe, and there was nothing stopping (y/n) from shedding her tears. Raven watched over the two younger individuals before him in silence. They had miraculously survived against all the odds.
