"Hey, Sophie, Fitz. Nice to see you!" Said a familiar voice. 

"Dex! Hey!" Said Fitz, shaking his hand. Dex turned to Sophie. "Hey, Soph, how's it going?" 

"Good," she replied, smiling at her oldest friend. Dex turned his head around to his daughter. She had blonde hair, just to her chest, with dark blue eyes like the sky before night. 

"Oh, hi, I didn't see you there!" Alla said, smiling. Alla was Dex's adopted daughter. She was starting her 5th year at Foxfire too. 

"Hey, Al!" replied Elanora, taking her Sabertooth Costume's hood off. 

"Oof, these costumes are soooo heavy! And hot too, not to mention," She said, fanning herself. 

"I agreee." Said Nora, starting to fan herself too. 

"I wonder when Caprise will get here." Said Nora, wondering where Caprise Sencen would arrive. 

"Yeah, me too." Said Alla, agreeing with Nora. A sudden flash appeared in front of the two families, causing Cecilia to shade her eyes away. 

"Hellooooooooo, Foster-Vackers!" Shouted no other than Keefe Sencen, appearing out of the bright flash. "Oh, and you too, Diznees." Dex rolled his eyes playfully and smiled. 

"Hey, Keefe." Sophie said laughing. 

"Foster!" Keefe said, embracing Sophie in a hug.

"Oof. Too tight. Cant breathe." said Sophie, muffled from Keefe's hug.

"Ah, sorry!" He said letting her go. 

"Daaaaaaad!" Said another voice, of a young girl, sounding pretty annoyed. 

"Oh, come on, Caprise, lighten up, it's the Opening Cermonies!" said Marella, putting her arm around her daughter's shoulder. 

"Okay, but mom, I know you're embarrassed too.." she said with a smirk. Caprise was an Empath, and she was pretty powerful, too. 

"Caprise! What did we talk about?" Said Marella, a but of smoke coming out of her fingertips, clearly annoyed. 

"Fine, fine fine," she said, smiling. 

 The lights started to dim. This was a que for everyone to gather backstage for their level's dances. Elanora grabbed Alla and Caprise and shuffled backstage. The Opening Ceremonies were about to begin.
