Sorry, this is really, really boring in the beginning, but it gets funny towards the end.  I added some Harry Potter stuff in with the help of my sis, so thanks to

And- Wait, No!!!  Don't even think about it!  Do NOT skip to the middle to try and find the funny stuff.  Just bear with me...please?  I have mallowmelt...

And the boring story begins...for now!

Sophie sighed as she fastened her crest to her cape.  What was it with elves and capes?  She got that it was a sign for nobility and all, but it looked so...so...weird.

Oh, I guess its not weird for the elves.  Sophie thought.  Its just that with all my human years, it seems odd and...elvin.

What if, one day Sophie and her friends dress as humans?

"That's it!" Sophie blushed, even though no one was there, it was still odd to talk to yourself out loud.

Sophie ran down the stairs, yelping when she tripped over her own fedt halway down and tumbled down the rest of the way.

"Sophie?  Are you okay?"  Edaline called from the kitchen.

"I'm fine.  Just being my clumsy self."  Sophie blushed, knowing her own track record of tripping.  She made her way into the kitchen to find Edaline.

"Yes Sophie?"  Edaline said as she looked up from putting a batch of  mallowmelt into the oven.

"Can I go to Everglen?"

"Sure.  Just make sure you ask Alden and Della first.  It is the weekend, after all!"

"Okay!  Thanks Mom!"   Sophie said before running up the stairs.

"Your welcome, Sophie."  Edaline smiled, hearing Sophie yell "Everglen" to the Leapmaster from her bedroom.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~At Everglen~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Sophie!"  Biana shouted as Sophie materialized in front of Everglen's gates.

"Biana!  Sorry for appearing here on such short notice, but I was wondering if I could borrow some of Alden's numan clothes?"

Biana's brow furrowed.  

"I guess, but let's ask him first." Biana turned on her heel and started walking inside the house.

Sophie nodded and followed her.  She looked down and suddenly became engrossed in the idea of dressing up in human clothes.  Sure, they probably wouldn't be allowed to wear it at Foxfire because of the uniform, but they could wear it at home.

Oh, we could probably go to Atlantis! Sophie thought.  But then Biana going to want to look for dresses, which will lead to a makeover, which leads to-

Sophie yelped as she ran into a tall figure which brought her back into touch with reality. She looked up to see bright teal eyes.  Sophie felt her face heat up as she realized who she ran into.

"Ouch, Sophie.  You need to watch where you're going!  Elwin doesn't need another surprise visit."  Fitz chuckled, and his eyes twinkled.

Sophie blushed, and she quickly mumbled an apology before following Biana again to Alden's office.  It wasn't until she noticed she was being followed until she was about to open the door before a accented voice said, 

"You need to knock first.  Alden knows you're coming and all, but its still good to be polite."

"Oh, right."  Sophie blushed again, and knocked on the door.  

There was a moment of silence before Alden said, "Come in Sophie."

Biana and Fitz followed Sophie in and Alden cheerfully greeted them.

"So"  he said, steepling his fingers, "What can I do for you, Sophie?"

Sophie took a deep breath before speaking.

"You know the collection of human clothes you have?"

"Yes."  Alden nodded.

"Well, I was wondering if I, and my friends of course, could borrow it to dress up as humans for a day."

Alden was silent as if he were thinking about the weirdness of Sophie's question, before he burst into laughter.

"Only you, Sophie.  Only you, would think of dressing as a human for the day."

Sophie smiled, and Fitz's eyes lit up.

"So we can use it?"  Biana asked excitedly.  Alden barely had time to say "Yes" before Biana ran out of the room, yelling for Fitz and Sophie to follow.

"Wait, before you two go, I need you to promise me that you won't let anyone else except Keefe and Dex use the clothes.  People might steal it, and travel to the Forbidden Cites.  You both know, especially Sophie, how dangerous it is for an elf in a human town, so be careful." Alden emphasized the last to words,  and his eyes didn't have their usual twinkle.

"Now go find Biana.  I'm sure she'll want to dress you all up!"  Alden said, shooing them out of his office.  "I've got work to do!"

"You go ahead.  I'll call Keefe and Dex on my imparter to tell them to come over." Fitz said after he and Sophie left.

"Okay.  I'm sure Keefe will have a blast with this!" Sophie said, and ran to where Biana was calling her.

"Sophie!  Look at this shirt with this mouse on it!  At least I think it's a mouse.  It's so weird."  Biana wrinkled her nose and held up a disneyland shirt with Mickey Mouse on it.

Sophie laughed.  The shirt was perfect for Dex!

"You were right, Biana.  It is a mouse.  It's from a place called Disneyland."  Sophie explained.

"Dizzneeland?  Like Dex's last name?  He has his own land?"  Biana asked, her eyes wide.

Sophie laughed even harder.

"No!  It just sounds the same.  That would be really cool, though!"  

"What'cha laughing about?"  Keefe asked, just as he, Dex, and Fitz walked in.  Dex's eyes widened when he saw the shirt.

"It's the shirt for my land!" he exclaimed.  Sophie and Biana laughed, and Keefe and Fitz had confused expressions.

"What?"  Keefe said.  

"Yeah.  I am so confused."  Fitz chimed in.

Sophie tossed Dex the shirt, and he explained the concept of "Dizzneeland" to them.  Biana and Sophie ignored them, and continued to rifle through the trunks.

"Hey Foster!  Look!  Its my signature Ratman T-shirt!"  Keefe said with a huge grin as he pulled out the green shirt.

"Uh, I think you mean Batman."  Dex corrected.

"Yeah.  That's what I said."  Keefe said.

"No, you said Ratman."  Dex countered.

"Nu-uh."

"Uh-huh.""

"Nuh-UH!"

"Uh-HUH!"

"Nuh-"

"Everybody shut up!"  Biana cried.  Dex and Keefe stopped arguing.  

Woah.  Keefe mouthed to Sophie, his usual smirk gone.

"I'm trying to look for outfits for everyone, but you guys, keep on arguing!  How am I supposed to do my magic if I can't focus?  Don't you all want makeovers?"  Biana cried.

There was an awkward silence until Sophie held up a Nike T-shirt, perfect for Fitz.

"Here's one for you, Fitz!"

"This is weird."  Fitz said as he pulled the shirt on over his tunic.

"Good weird?"  Sophie asked, holding her breath.

"Yeah, I'd say good weird."  Fitz smiled, and Sophie felt butterflies in her stomach.

"Here's one for you, Biana."  Sophie said, as she tossed a bundle of clothes to Biana.

Biana unraveled it and screamed.

"Eewwwww!  Who in the right state of mind would wear THAT?"  She shrieked as she held up Ravenclaw robes.

"Yeah, what is that from anyway?  It must be cool, cause they have capes too."  Fitz added.

"It's from a human book series and movies called Harry Potter.  The main character is a wizard, and he goes to a school called Hogwarts, which is kinda similar to Foxfire."  Sophie explained.

"Wait!  Is Dobby mentioned at all?"  Fitz asked.

Sophie felt her breath catch.  Was Hogwarts and Harry Potter real?  There were house elves in it, but they look nothing like real elves.

"Hello?  Earth to Sophie.  Is Dobby mentioned?"  Keefe asked, a concerned look on his face.

Unable to speak, Sophie nodded.

"Wait, does this mean Harry Potter is real?"  Dex asked, finally catching on to the conversation.

Sophie nodded again.  "Yes, but I don't understand.  I mean, it's HARRY POTTER!  I LOVED Harry Potter as a kid.  I used to have a crush on him in the third grade!" (Sorry, I added this in!  😝)
"I mean if he is real, does that mean all of the other book series real too?  Then YES!  I can finally go to Narnia!  Hogwarts!  Camp Half Blood!  Panem!  Wait, not Panem!  But you get the idea!" 

 Sophie was out of breath, trying to name all the fictional places she could visit, until Keefe burst her bubble.

"Then that's... that's... that's amazing!" Fitz said, his eyes twinkling with excitement.

"Yeah...amazing.  Blah, blah, blah.  Too bad all book stories are what they say...fictional!"  Keefe cried.

"Wait, what?"  Sophie's happy bubble popped.  Did she just hear Keefe right?

"Yeah!  Biana was pulling your leg!  We don't even know who Dobby is.  Fitz just telepathically told us who he was!  He said you mentioned it to him, once.  But oh!  You were so funny!"  Keefe said, between fits of laughter.

Sophie glared at Fitz.  

Really?  You?  I'd expect it from Keefe.  Maybe Biana.  But you?  Never.  Sophie told Fitz telepathically.

Sophie blushed.  She had followed the bait and walked straight into the trap.

Yeah... I did.  But really?  

Sorry.  You have to admit it, though.  That was hilarious!

It was.  You got me good.

"Do you guys really forget things *that* easily?  I have to tell you every...single...time!  No secret telepathic conversations or I get to assume you're flirting!"  Keefe's said, his trademark smirk back.

Sophie blushed.

"Finally!  Foster blushed!  My life is complete!  How about this?  Okay, remember that time when we were at Foxfire, and Sophie-"

"Keefe!  Enough.  I still have to find Sophie an outfit."  Biana whined.

"Ugh, well make it quick Biana!  In the meantime, here's one for you.  A real one."  Sophie said as she handed Biana a t-shirt.

"Fine, I'll wear this, but you have to wear this!"  Biana said before tossing a shirt to Sophie, an evil glint in her eyes.

Sophie grabbed the shirt and straightened it out.  She gasped.  It said:

dun Dun DUN!!!!!

Sorry for the cliffhanger, but this is 1,679 words and I feel bad for making it this long.  Like seriously, I applaud you if you're actually reading this right now!
