It's my first day and im freaking out a bit more than necessary. I'm on the bus sitting next to this pretty nice kid, Dex I think his name is. He's explaining that he's on the school stage crew "anyway we're doing Newsies this year and I was thinking maybe you'd like to play Katherine" Dex asked." You guys don't have a Katherine?" He shook his head" No , normally Linh goes out for the female lead but since her brother got the male lead who is also the male love interest she decided to sit this one out.

 I told him i'd think about it though honestly I was just happy I hadn't spent the entire bus ride staring out the window because no one wanted to talk to the new girl with the freaky eyes.

   When we got to school I went to the office to get my schedule, after the tour of the school I was still having trouble navigating the school so gethering all of my courage I approached a guy that had a croud surrounding him, he couldn't embarrass me in front of all these people or he could and i'd just embarass myself further . Okay, while I admit my plan is flawed I was to far in to back out now.

The boy was luckily nice and gave me directions, said his name was Keefe we exchanged numbers and everything! My second friend! 

I made my way to my homeroom class which was coincidently my English class which I had directly after homeroom. A few people stayed behind like a gothy girl who's name I heard name was Lydia was bickering with herself about... not being gullible? A girl with a blue scarf was writing in her diary muttering about implants and a mythic bitch

I didn't really want to interact with these people for obvious reasons so I just kinda just sat there as people filed into the classroom when Dex walked in I waved him over so we could sit together
