"We have to leave!" Said Sophie. She could barely form the words. A deep ache settled in her chest and her throat was scratchy and dry. Fitz ran his hand through his hair. "You don't get it Sophie, she's my sister! I can't leave her!" Sophie reached for his hand and stared into his gorgeous teal eye's. "We have to go." She said as she twined her fingers with his. 

"No.." He mumbled. "Please. I understand, I've had to leave so many people that I love or had them leave me!" Her comment made Fitz tighten his grip on Sophie's hand. She was talking about Keefe. "This is different! She's in danger, she might be hurt!" 

"But she might want us to leave! She might want us to get help and not risk our own safety!" Said Sophie. "I thought she was your friend!" Yelled Fitz, breaking free from Sophie's grip. "She is!" Said Sophie. "We can't risk our safety! We could get captured too!" Said and exasperated Tam. "I'm not leaving." Said Fitz. 

"Then your on your own." Said Tam. He reached for Sophies arm to pull her away but Sophie dodged it. "Im not leaving him." Said Sophie firmly. Tam sighed, tugging on his bangs. "I'll get help then." Said Tam. He pulled out his light leaping crystal but before leaping he heard Fitz say, "Look who's on their own now!" Tam sighed and entered the light.

Sophie's scared brown eye's vanished as Tam was whisked away by the light.
