Tam's eyes widened in shock. Glimmers face was young and smooth. She had wild long black hair and looked about as old as Tam and Linh. The twins didn't have time to swallow Glimmers appearance. Shadows seeped out of Tam's arms. Gethen kicked Glimmer aside and advanced towards Linh. Tam's eyes narrowed and he pounced at Gethen. A new cloaked figure sent a goblin throwing star at Tam, pinning him to the wall. "Don't fight it." said the cloaked figure. The cloaked figure raised her arms and sent a gust of wind knocking Tam to the ground.

The world began to shake as Tam struggled to keep awake. Linh sent a blast of water at Gethen, knocking the wind out of him. The cloaked figure advanced on Linh, shoving her into the wall with a powerful gust of wind. Glimmer staggered up glaring at Gethen but he grabbed her by the neck and pressed her to the wall. The last Tam could remember was Glimmer crumbling to the ground, barely breathing and being dragged away.
