Sophie felt her hands curl into fists. Nobody cared at all about Keefe and he was supposed to be their friend. Sophie reluctantly curled into a ball and lay on her bed. As soon as her head hit the pillows a sharp jagged memory cut through her barrier like it was Mallowmelt. In the image Sophie could see fuzzy lumps on the ground that looked suspiciously like bodies. Sophie focused all her mental energy as the picture cleared. Linh's tortured eye's gleamed in the dark and Sophie noticed Tam and Glimmer in the background. Linh mouthed the word help as many times as she could before a cloaked figure thwacked her in the head. Sophie felt her chest tighten and her limbs thrash until a hand lay on her shoulder. Edaline looked Sophie in the eye. "Do what you have to do and don't get hurt." said Edaline. Her voice caught and she looked away. Sophie let out a breath she didn't realize she had been holding and used the remaining ounce of energy to reach her mind out to Silveny. "Silveny?"

"SOPHIE OK? SOPHIE OK? SOPHIE OK?" "I'm fine...just please where are you?" Silveny sent a stream of images of her and Greyfall nuzzling Wynn and Luna. Silveny sent another stream of "SOPHIE OK?" causing Sophie to wince and rub her temples. "Are you ok?" asked Edaline. "Fine." muttered Sophie. Time was running out and she had to go. Sophie took off speeding out of the house and didn't turn back. Edaline watched Sophie run away. A smile crept onto her face and she sighed.
