Kaz

"By the way Kaz where'd you come from earlier? You know when you just appeared out of nowhere and I noticed you weren't with us when we were walking through the tunnels." Nami says.

"Oh I got bored so I started exploring the caves and I came out of that one." I point up at the cave entrance that I came out of. "Then I saw the sub surface in the bay so I slid down the side of the mountain there and informed you. Then you know the rest." I say shrugging and poncho guy starts shooting everywhere.

"Look out." Nami yells to the villagers and I see the girl from before right in the open.

"Shit;" I say as I rush forward and I quickly pull the girl out of the way as bullets fill the space she was just standing in. I pull out my hand gun and shoot poncho guy in a non-fatal spot but it sure as hell will hurt a lot. I click the safety on and place my gun in the back of my pants.

"Someone fling me up there." I say. Zoro and Sanji look at me in confusion. "Just do it." I yell at them.

"Fine get on my leg." Sanji says and I jump on his leg. He swings his leg forward and propels me towards poncho guy.

"Hey do you need these?" I hear a voice yell and I look over to see Zoro holding my daggers.

"Do me a favour and hold onto them." I say and I grab onto poncho guy's sombrero. It continues to spin but this time poncho guy starts spinning. "Now what to do with you?"

"Let me go." Poncho guy says.

"I don't think so." I say before flipping him over my head and it has enough force that when I let go he flies into the ground below. He sinks into the ground a good couple of feet and I land softly on the ground beside the hole. I spit in the hole and Zoro walks over with my daggers.

"Here you go." He says holding my daggers out for me.

"Thanks;" I gently take my daggers and give them a twirl and slipping them into a holder that I have attached to my lower back.

"You know I hardly see you with your daggers but they always seem to be there when you need them." Zoro says.

"It's magic." I say doing a weird hand gesture that even I have no clue what it is and Zoro gives him a weird look.

"Never do that again." He says and I nod.

"That's for sure I don't even have a clue why I did that." I say shaking my head.

"Ah Zoro;" Usopp yells and I watch in interest while Usopp tries to push the swordsman. It takes him a good couple of seconds possibly minutes to get the swordsman about two meters away.

"What are you doing Usopp?" Zoro finally asks.

"If you get within two meters of Kaz at the moment then you're putting your limbs and life at risk." Usopp says and Zoro digs his feet in.

"I'm gonna go for a walk at the moment anyway. I'll be back by sun down for sure." I say walking off.

"You hurt his feelings." I hear Zoro says and I shake my head. I'm surrounded by idiots I think as I walk into a cave entrance. I explore the rest of the caves and the last one I come out of leads me to an orange field. I explore the plantation and I find Nami talking to the girl from before.

"Why are you here?" The girl asks Nami. Looks like Nami just got here too.

"I heard there was an orange plantation so... What a view." Nami says looking out at the view in front of her.

"My dad used to love this place and so did I." The girl says.

"I was like you. I really hated pirates." Nami says.

"What? Then why did you become one?" The girl asks Nami.

"Well... I'm not sure why." Nami says. "Luffy is not the kind of pirate that you think he is." Nami says.

"Yeah I think I see what you mean." The girl says laughing.

"That idiot just does what he wants but that's what makes him different." I say taking a seat on the other side of the girl. Nami and the girl jump in fright before Nami glares at me.

"Kaz what are you doing here?" She asks and I look out at the view.

"I was walking around and kinda found you guys." I say.

"Anyway Luffy's too stupid naïve to be a pirate." The girl says and I nod.

"I agree." Nami says. "Hey Kaz did you ever hate pirates when you were younger?" Nami asks me and I shake my head.

"No I hated the government; still do. When you guys were younger you saw the bad side of pirates while I saw the bad side of the government." I say and we fall into silence.

"It's quiet did they finish fighting?" Nami asks.

"Oh yeah, I wonder how Boss did." The girl says and we head down to the beach. We walk along the beach and I spot Luffy lying on the sand along with the beetle. Chopper's standing in between them and I think he's translating. Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp are sitting off to the side.

"Alright that it; It's time to go back to the sea." Nami says while clapping to get the guys attention.

"What are you talking about Nami? We're not through yet." Luffy says.

"It seems like it only takes a half day to record the magnetic wave of this island. So we better go now before it resets." Nami says and we all shift back to the Sunny. I plop down on a tanning chair and curl up before drifting off to sleep.

I walked out onto the deck of the Sunny from the kitchen where I had been stealing food that Luffy will most likely get blamed for. As soon as the door shuts behind me I freeze on the spot and blink a couple of times. I knew he was near but why the hell was he here? I slowly back towards the kitchen door in hopes of not being spotted but just when my hand, that was behind my back touched the handle I was spotted.

"Hey Kaz come meet Shiki; he's really cool and can make things float. He also has swords as legs." Luffy calls to me and I quietly grumble at him. I slowly walk down to the deck where the rest were gathered around Shiki who was an older male with yellow hair and part of a steering wheel stuck in his head. He wore a yellow coat over top of a black shirt that was paired with orange shorts and instead of legs he had swords from the time he escaped from Impel Down.

"I assume you're Shiki." I say giving him a little nod when I reach the spot beside Zoro who for some reason was working out.

"Yes I am." Shiki says giving me a return nod.

"Can I ask why we're going in the opposite direction than the East Blue?" I say as we continue to float through some floating islands.

"What we're going in the opposite direction of the East Blue? Shiki you said you'd take us to the East Blue." Luffy says and Shiki starts walking towards Nami but before he can grab her I kick him.

"I get your plan now." I say as I stand in front of Nami with my arms crossed. "You've gotta get through me first though." I say and I pull a couple of small knifes out of my ankle holders.

"Ha you're a pretty cheeky brat. Thinking you can hold your own, let alone beat Shiki the Golden Lion." Shiki says as he starts to attack. I dodge and parry his attacks while including some counter attacks that he manages to avoid or stop.

"Um should we help him?" Usopp asks and I loosen another knife I have strapped to my leg. I chuck one of the knives I'm holding at Usopp and at the exact same time grab the other knife that I had kicked up towards my hand.

"I'll take that as a no." Sanji says and I hear the click of his lighter as I block Shiki's sword before trying to counter attack with a kick to his jaw. He catches my foot and chucks me to the other side of the deck. I smash my back into the railing and I feel a wave of pain go through my body but I ignore it. I jump back to my feet and charge at Shiki who now had a hold of Nami. Shiki raises his hand before flinging it down onto the deck on the Sunny which stops the floatation the ship had going and the Sunny starts plummeting downward. I push myself off of the deck a second before the Sunny completely loses its floatation and head straight towards Shiki.

"You're a pretty stubborn one aren't you?" Shiki says getting ready to knock me down.

"No it's just I know I can beat you." I say as I fly closer to Shiki. I throw one of the knives I'm holding and Shiki easily dodges but he completely misses the second one. You see when Shiki took his eyes off of me to dodge the knife I had pushed myself forward using the air as a push off point, kinda like CP9's Moonwalk but mine had a bit of my curse mixed in. I was pushed forward fast enough to manage to stab Shiki in the side as he was turning back from dodging the knife.

"You bastard;" Shiki says as I try to push the knife deeper. Shiki manages to dislocate me and he manages to stab me in the chest but not with enough force to do too much damage. He did manage to hit where I had a scab forming from Thriller Bark. I can make it disappear from sight whenever I want with the help of my curse but it does nothing to heal it so I decided to leave it be since it seems to be healing slower than usual. Shiki goes in to slice my head but I manage to pull out another knife I had hidden at my ankle in time to block his sword but I'm sent flying away from him and I feel gravity start to tug at me again. I could go longer but not without revealing somethings I don't want to.

I glare at Shiki as he waves bye at me as I slowly succumb to gravity and I sense Luffy getting ready to make his move. I spin out of the way and I face towards the Sunny. I tuck my arms into my sides and tilt myself so I was heading head first towards the Sunny at an accelerated speed. About halfway to the Sunny I unzip my hoodie and pull the sides out to catch the wind which slows my fall. I slow down to the same descent speed as the others when I reach about the same height as them. Shiki spins his hand and causes the Sunny to spin. We all get hit with the main mast of the Sunny; whether it be the sail attached to the mast or the mast itself and we all get sent off in different directions.

"Where the fuck did I get sent?" I scream after I manage to free myself from the ground that I had somehow gotten stuck in. I look around to be greeted by a weird giant green tiger that appeared to have a flower growing out of its back and was growling at me. "What the hell do you want cat?" I say with venom lacing my voice. The tiger growls again before charging at me but it stops after taking a few steps. I growl at it and the tiger turns tail and runs. So I stand at the top of the chain here as well I think as I start walking around. Any animal I happen to run into runs away scared like the tiger from before and it's really starting to annoy me. I need to take my anger out on something or else I just might explode.
