You're All He Ever Thinks About!

"Happy Birthday (Y/N/N)!" Fred and George shouted in unison as you stumbled down the creaky steps. You were 2 months into the Summer Holiday and Dumbledore had decided that staying with the Weasley's was the best option. You smiled gratefully, knowing that this would be the best birthday you've ever had. Your father didn't believe in celebrating his children. No matter what the occasion was.
"So (Y/N/N)? Is there anything you'd like to do on your special day?" Fred asked as he looped his arm through yours. You thought for a moment. No one had ever asked you wanted for a gift. Your mother wouldn't buy you gifts on your birthday or at Christmas out of fear that it would anger your father. You shrugged nonchalantly.
"Is there anything you'd like to do? Anything you want? Anything you want to see? A trip to Diagon Alley?" George asked. You frowned. Nothing really sounded too appealing. You had never celebrated your birthday before so you were a bit overwhelmed with all of the choices.
"I don't know. I've never really gotten gifts on my birthday before. We never celebrated them at my house. My father never approved of them," you commented dryly. Fred and George exchanged a mischievous look.
"Then we're going to make this the best birthday you've ever had! But there's got to be at least one thing you really want!" Fred exclaimed. You thought hard, racking your brain. You could only think of one thing you wanted, but couldn't have. You averted your eyes and shook your head. Fred nudged you as George smirked.
"We know a lie when we see one! We know you have something in mind! Come on. You can tell us. What is it?" George pressed. You sighed, exasperated.
"I miss Cedric. If I could have anything for my birthday I'd want to spend the day with him. I just wish I had time with him in general," you admitted quietly. Fred and George went unbelievably silent. You knew they couldn't give you what you wanted. You hadn't seen Cedric since term ended and he hadn't written out of fear that too many letters would attract too much suspicion. You hadn't seen Cedric because you didn't want to risk the other Weasleys finding out about your forbidden relationship. Gossip was never good. You shook your head quickly, pulling out of the twin's grasp. "I'm sorry. Don't worry about it. I know you can't give me that. I don't really want anything. Having your company is enough.

                                    -Time Skip-

You laid on your back , lookin up at the stars, running over the day's events in your head. Vibrant memories swirling around in your head. Mrs. Weasley had made a cake and you had spent the day in Diagon Alley, browsing the shopes. It was, so far, the best birthday anyone had ever given you.
Now, you were left to stare up at the stars in the Weasley's backyard lost in thought. No one really thought to bother you. Over the Holiday you spent a lot of time in solitude. You weren't sure why. Maybe you weren't used to being in an environment where people actually cared about what you did with your life.
The backdoor creaked open behind you. You didn't bother to turn around. You knew whoever was there would approach you if they needed you. You continued to stare up at the inky blue sky, wondering what Cedric was doing at the moment.
"I didn't know what to get you for your birthday. Your not the easiest to shop for. But I decided a kiss was better than nothing." You were on your feet and in wrapped his arms before he had a chance to process what was happening. He chuckled against you.
"Cedric! What are you doing here? How? " He smiled down at you, his teeth glowing a pearly white in the dark. He brushed a few stray hairs out of your face, delicately caressing your cheek as he did.
"You didn't think I'd forget my girl's birthday, did you? Weasley and Weasley #2 sent me a letter this morning. You're one birthday wish was really to see me?" You averted your eyes, trying to hide the blush rising on your cheeks. Cedric grinned and pressed his lips to your softly.
"I missed you. I don't think that you know how much I missed you. This is the first birthday I've ever celebrated and I can't think of anyone else I'd rather be with. Do the other's know your here?" He shook his head.
"Fred and George didn't want Ron, Percy, or Ginny to know we were seeing each other. I can't stay for very long. Unless..." He trailed off, his own blush rising to his cheeks. You set your hands on his chest, causing his face to catch fire. You grinned.
"Yeah? Unless what?" You whispered in his ear causing him to shudder. He lifted you off the ground as you wrapped your legs around his waist. He smiled at you, sheepishly.
"Unless you come with me. Come stay with me and my father for a week. Then I'll bring you back here. I've already discussed it with the twins. They have a million different excuses for why you're missing. So? What do you say? Come back with me?"
"You've just made my entire day. Of course. I would love that. I just want to have more time with you." He beamed and kissed you passionately. His teeth nipped at your bottom lip as you pressed your lips more forcefully into his. A sigh escaped him as he pulled back unhappily.
"I hate to do this. I really hate to do this, seeing as I could stand here all night and kiss you. But my father's waiting for us. We apperated." You nodded, allowing him to set you back onto the ground. He intertwined your hands and began to lead you back towards the front garden. You stopped suddenly, causing him to look at you, worriedly.
"My stuff? I can't just leave it here?" Cedric smiled, tugging you forward. You continued, falling into step with him, confused.
"Fred packed your truck while you were outside. He dropped it off with my father the moment we arrived. We kind of figured you'd say yes. We've thought of everything. Don't worry. I've got you. Just relax. We're going to have fun." You nodded as Mr. Diggory came into view. He was standing near the swamps, looking out of place among the tall, dying, grass. You smiled.
The moment you were within an arm's length of him. He reached out and enveloped you into an embrace. You chuckled and hugged him back. He released you, allowing Cedric you wrap his own arms around your waist. Mr. Diggory looked at you and smiled. "He really loves you. You'll never find a boy who loves you more than my son. You're all he ever thinks about. There isn't a minute that goes by that you're not on his mind. Trust me. You have all the love you could ever want right here." You smiled, turning just in time to see Cedric's face blush a violent shade of red. You pressed a quick kiss to his cheek before Mr. Diggory offered you his hand and the world began to spin in a every direction as you apperated toward Cedric's home.
