Oh, And Diggory, Put A Shirt On!
You woke to the feeling of warm air being blown across your neck. You sat up with a start, hearing a low chuckle behind you. You turned around to see your boyfriend laying back on the pile of pillows, hands folded behind his head. His taffy colored curls were pushed out in messy sections and his shirt was thrown to the side, tangled in the blankets.
"Mmm. Good morning, baby. How did you sleep last night?" He asked, pulling you back down into his arms, his voice still rough and groggy from sleep. You collapsed willingly against his chest, closing your eyes. You caressed his cheek, studying the strong features of his face, before laying back again. He smiled down at you, lovingly. You sighed, savoring the moment.
"Much better than I expected to. Thank you for staying with me, baby. How did you sleep? Please tell me you didn't stay up the entire night!" You murmured as you traced a delicate line down his bare stomach. He shivered with pleasure as you laughed. He bent down kissing you, lightly.
"No, I slept wonderfully. Especially since you were right next to me. Imagine waking up like this every day. I would love that," he added shyly. You smirked, kissing him again as his hand tangled itself in your hair.
"Don't push your luck, Diggory. You're lucky we're even doing this now," you replied. He chuckled, laying down, staring up at the ceiling, gripping your hand in his.
"In case you've forgotten, this was what you wanted. But I am lucky. I'm lucky that I got to wake up next to the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on," he added as he pushed you down on the blankets, leaning over you. You shied away as he moved to kiss you.
"Don't. You're just saying that," you replied, seriously. Cedric frowned but didn't take his eyes off of you for a second.
"(Y/N) you not that's the stupidest thing you could've said. You know you're my girl and you know how much I love you. I think you're not only the most beautiful girl in this school but in the world. And I'm not just saying that," he insisted. He bent down again, but didn't try and kiss you. Instead his lips traveled down your neck. You pulled in a sharp intake as he sucked on a sensitive spot. He nipped at your neck making you yelp.
Cedric pulled back the minute you let out a cry. His fingers grazed your neck, searching for the spot he hurt. "What did I do? Did I hurt you, baby? I'm so sorry."
"I'm fine. It's just I wasn't expecting that, that's all. You're not usually so bold," you smirked. He averted his eyes as a deep blush rose to his cheeks.
"I don't know what came over me. I'm sorry. I guess it's just the passion and love I feel when I'm around you. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to overstep my boundaries."
"Cedric. Baby. Relax. You need to let loose a bit. I actually kind of like this new side of you. I was just a little bit surprised. It's nothing to worry about." He nodded, leaning in again. You smirked, pressing a finger against his lips. "But we're done for the day. We need to get going, or people are going to start wondering where we are. What time is it?"
He sighed but hauled himself to his feet and crossed the floor to peer at the clock. He stood by the railing leaner over, trying to get a glimpse of the clock tower. "You're right we do need to get going. It's 10 'til 7."
You got up and wrapped your arms around him from behind, his bare skin warm against you. He leaned into you, as you kissed him gently between his shoulder blades. The muscles in his back expanding and contracting as he shifted. You smiled."Alright. Come help me fold up these blankets."
He started at you lovingly as you stacked up the blankets and pillows, hiding them in the shadows of the tower. "Don't look at me like that. Like I'm someone worth looking at. It makes me feel arrogant."
He laughed as he helped guide you down the astronomy tower steps. You leaned into him as he rubbed your back. "You're more than worth looking at. You're so beautiful. I could look at you all day," he replied as you reached the bottom of the steps.
"Well that's kind of weird. I don't want to know what you 2 talked about all night, but you have exactly one hour until breakfast. Let's get a move on!" You whirled around to see Adrian leaning against the wall. You cursed under your breath.
"It's not what it seems like, Pucey. I was helping tutor (Y/N) in astronomy..." Adrian laughed cutting Cedric off. Your boyfriend looked at you, clearly worried.
"It's all right, Diggory. I know you're in a relationship. (Y/N) trusts me. So should you. I'm not gonna go and tell the whole school if that's what you're worried about. And I think it's exactly what it seems like. Or did you 2 not spend the night in the astronomy tower together..." He peered at you a bit closer. Examining you carefully. "...and Diggory, did you not spend quite a bit of time with your lips my girl's neck?" Your mouth fell open in embarrassment. Cedric's grip on your hand tightened as he blushed.
"God Adrian, do you have to make everything extremely awkward? I can't...Oh God...This is so awkward..." You stuttered out. Adrian smirked as Cedric let out a low laugh. You shook your head.
"Yeah it is. But it's my job to embarrass you (Y/N/N). Don't worry Diggory, I'm not gonna beat you to death like Higgs and Weasley, unless you hurt our princess! Then you'll have the wrath of all 4 of us (there are 2 Weasleys right?) and that won't be fun on your part!" Cedric smirked as his arm wrapped itself around your waist, protectively.
"Don't worry Adrian. This is my baby girl right here. Hurting her would be the last thing I ever do in my life. In more ways then one." Adrian nodded approvingly.
"Good. You know you're not half bad, Diggory. I think we could get along, that is if my (Y/N)'s properly taken care of." Cedric nodded seriously, shaking hands with your best friend. You smiled .
"Aw! Look at that! Who knew 2 gits could get along! But seriously, it's about time!" You exclaimed, pulling them both into an embrace. They laughed, hugging you back. "I love you both! So much!"
"I'm sorry, Cedric. But I'm gonna have to steal your baby girl away. We've got to get her back before Terence gets up because he will beat you into a pulp. Both of you," Adrian added solemnly. You nodded and turned to your boyfriend, sighing.
"I love you. I'll see you later. Owl me. I'll miss you," you whispered as you pulled him into a tight embrace. He looked down at you, clearly disappointed, but he nodded. You kissed him gently, letting yourself drown in his love, until Adrian cleared his throat loudly, ruining the moment.
You pulled away still reluctant to let go of his hand. You gripped his fingers tightly, wanting to hold on for as long as possible. "And I love you, but you have to go. I don't want to ruin all of our chances at a relationship. I'll miss you too. Now go," he replied, kissing you again quickly as Adrian began to drag you down the hall toward the Dungeons.
"I think that was probably the best night of my life, despite the horror I went through yesterday," you stated, turning to your best friend. He smirked.
"I don't doubt that for a minute. But you'd better cover up those marks on your neck. God, what did he do? Sink his teeth into you?" You laughed, trying to hide the deep red blossoming on your cheeks. Adrian chuckled and turned around once more. "Oh, and Diggory, put a shirt on!" He called over your shoulder. You shook your head, smiling despite yourself. What. An. Idiot.
