Can You Do Me A Favor? Please?
Cedric's P.O.V
"Fred! George! I need to speak with you! It's about (Y/N/N)!" I called down the empty corridor, making sure no one was around to hear me talking about my baby. I loved her with all my heart but I didn't know what her father would do to her if he found out we were dating. We had to keep our relationship a secret. It was crucial.
The Weasley twins turned on their heels and looked at me, grinning mischievously. They motioned for me to follow them and took off down the hall. I sighed, breaking out into a run, trying to keep up with them. Fred and George were just two of my (Y/N)'s brothers. I had to put up with them. I liked Fred and George. They were unbelievably funny and not to mention they treated my girl like the princess she was. But they could be a hell of a lot of work. And I mean a lot.
Fred was standing outside an empty classroom when I turned down the hall panting. I set my hands on my knees, breathing hard. Fred smirked as he clapped a hand on my back. He pulled me up and dragged me into the deserted room.
Fred pushed me into a lone chair in the center of the room and he and George kicked up their feet on the desk across from me. "Alright Pretty-Boy we're all ears! You want to talk about our baby sister, we'll listen, but we have to go play a prank on Oliver so maybe try and hurry this along! But if it's about (Y/N/N) we've got some extra time," Fred started as he crossed his arms and sat back in his chair, not a care in the world. Unless it came to pranking people or (Y/N/N).
"Did you know that Potter asked my girl to go to Hogsmeade with him yesterday?" I asked, making Fred and George exchange confused looks. They shook their heads.
"We gave her our gifts, and then she told us she had to go because Harry had asked to speak with her. Did he ask her on a date? What did she say?" George asked, his fiery red eyebrows furrowed in concern. I sighed and shook my head.
"She said she'd go with him. I don't know if it's a date or not. She says it isn't. But I don't know what his intentions are," I replied slowly. Fred and George smirked at me. Throwing their heads back in laughter, making me scowl. What was so funny?
"Diggory! He's a third year! I don't think he had evil intentions! And I certainly don't think he's going to hurt her! And if you're worried about her leaving you, don't! Do you know how much that girl loves you? When she stayed with us over the summer you wouldn't believe how many pictures of you she had! I don't know how to drill this into your head but (Y/N) would never cheat on you! You're her life line! She needs you! And dare I say she loves you more than she loves winning Quidditch matches against Gryffindor!" Fred exclaimed in utter disbelief.
I chuckled softly. My girl was obsessed with crushing the Gryffindor team in Quidditch. It was her passion. She loved it. She lived to play Quidditch. It was almost too hard to believe that she loved me more than winning matches. Almost.
"I'm not worried about her leaving me. She's just trying to be nice. She says Potter wanted to know about Sirius Black but I'd rather her not walk around with the mass murder's biggest target. Especially after what happened," I sighed, wearily. Fred and George nodded. They loved to joke around, but (Y/N) always came first, that was common sense. That was the rule.
"I think she'll be okay, since it's in broad daylight and there'll be so many people around. But I do have to admit it's a bit risky. Aren't you going? You could just keep an eye on her," George pointed out. I shook my head. I couldn't spy on her.
"No. Well I'm going but I can't spy on her. Trust me she can feel my presence from a mile away. She's not stupid, she'll be on to me in less than a minute. And you know how mad it'll make her if she finds out I'm following her around. She'll think I don't trust her."
"Well, you clearly don't trust her. That's why we're having this conversation. If you trusted you baby girl we wouldn't even be talking about," Fred stated matter-of-factly.
"That's not true! I trust my (Y/N) one hundred percent! It's just that I don't trust, Potter. He seems nice and all but, you know how I am, I'm just-"
"An extremely overprotective boyfriend! You need to cut the poor girl some slack! Don't you ever think you're smothering her?" George asked, cutting me off. I rubbed my temples. Last year (Y/N) had told me that she felt like I was smothering her but the topic had never come up again. We had been inseparable for the last few days. It didn't matter. George was right. I needed to give her some space. She deserved that.
"You're right. I'm overprotective. I don't know, I'm just scared I'll lose the love of my life. She's my girl and I don't want to ever have to live without her," I sighed. Fred stood up and patted me on the back, while George smirked deviously.
"Cedric, can I call you that? Nah, I'll stick with Pretty-Boy! (Y/N) is your girl and she always will be. You're going to marry her and trust me she's ready to say yes the moment you're ready to pull out that ring. You just need to relax. She'll be fine," Fred stated. I nodded. They were right. I was going to marry (Y/N) Middlebrook. She was going to be the next Mrs. Diggory. She wanted to be the next Mrs. Diggory. I didn't need to worry about losing her. She would never leave me and I would never ever leave her.
"Yeah. I'm just overreacting! But can you do me a favor? Please? When we're at Hogsmeade can you just keep an eye on her? Please?" I begged.
Fred and George sighed as they looked at each other, debating my offer through silent facial expressions. Finally, George nodded and turned back towards me.
"You're asking us to spy on your girlfriend and Potter? Not because you don't trust (Y/N) but because you want to keep her safe and you don't trust that scumbag of a third year?" George asked, hardly keeping a straight face. I rolled my eyes but nodded.
"Fine. We'll do it. But if she catches us, we're throwing you under the bus. We can't handle her wrath. The last time I beat you up she almost killed me. Literally. She had her wand ready and everything!" Fred exclaimed as they walked out of the room. I sighed again. I didn't want her to be upset about me hiring spies but I needed to make sure she was safe.
