SUMMARY.

I'M SORRY, DAD. I TRIED. I TRIED TO BE NORMAL...

TO PUT THINGS LIGHTLY... everything has gone to shit. In a grim turn of events, Homecoming ended with a bunch of blood-covered students, a dead Bradley Lewis and his killer on the run. The only catch is that his blood is on the hands of none other than Sydney Novak — and no one knows except for Hallie Novak-Miller and Stanley Barber.

THERE'S NO WAY SYDNEY CAN STAY. Not with the messy aftermath she's left behind. She finds herself running into the darkness in the cold autumn night, to nowhere in particular but far enough away so she can't hurt anyone. But in the shadows, Syd surprisingly finds clarity and a direction for what looked like a bottomless pit of a future. Maybe she can actually use her powers for something other than screwing things up...

MEANWHILE BACK IN BROWNSVILLE, Hallie and Stanley are left alone to helplessly wonder where to go from here. And more importantly, they're on a search party for a blood-stained diary containing everything. They have already seen the destruction when it fell into the hands of the wrong person. And on top of that, they have obstacles of their own — Hallie's health and Stan's home issues don't seem to be backing down any time soon.

IT CAN'T GO ON MUCH LONGER; all the secrets, the lies, the cover-ups. Sydney knows herself how dangerous she is. They all do now. But the question is, how do they fix this mess? There's only one way they can possibly think of ending this once and for all. From the wise words of Stan's comic book stack, every human suddenly discovering newfound superpowers has to have an origin story. Whether it be a spider's bite, human experiments or a curse, something had to give Sydney her destructive abilities. The investigation begins, with assistance from even the most unlikely of allies...

BUT AS THE INVESTIGATION ENSUES, something much darker is at play. Another thing that goes for many superhero stories is the fateful scenario where these extraordinary powers are under darker influences. Sydney is scared, alone, fragile; like dynamite.

AND IF SHE BLOWS HER FUSE, the consequences would be catastrophic.

i.   i do not own the characters of i am not okay with this, i only own the characters not in the original cast. however, this is a season 2 alternate universe, therefore this plot is my own creation and my own take on what season 2 would have entailed had the show continued. it also will have some plot points centred around my OCs since this is a fanfiction. so... yeah, you can hold me accountable for any hardship i put the characters through *laughs nervously*
