I ate all the food Guk cooked for Tae :)

I think it's best if Gukkie doesn't catch a glimpse of you.
How about you just wait for me outside, like a few blocks away from the house?

Joonie
Oh, i didn't think about that.
I'm sorry.
But okay i'm on my way.

Seokjin sighs before locking the device and putting it back inside his pocket. He resumes threading his fingers on Jeongguk's hair, smiling as he hear the soft giggles coming from the younger.

"Gukkie, I'm heading home a few minutes from now, okay? Will you be alright if I leave you alone?"

Jeongguk turns around, his face now buried on Seokjin's stomach.

"What do you mean alone? Taetae will come home. I told you that, haven't I?"

Seokjin stops playing with the younger's hair, and Jeongguk whines softly because of the empty feeling.

"Oh, right. I'm sorry I totally forgot."

Jeongguk looks at him with an amused face and then he starts to sit back up to bid Jin goodbye.

"You probably should go home, hyung. It's really late."

"Okay. I'll be back maybe tomorrow. Take care, okay?"

"I will, hyung. Thank you."

Seokjin leans down to place a chaste kiss on Jeongguk's temple before leaving him behind.

Everything's going to be okay.
I'm waiting for you inside the car.
Let's go home.

"Tae?" Jeongguk whispers, his voice raspy from being woken up.

"Shh, babe. I'm right here. Go back to sleep, yeah?" Taehyung slides himself beneath the covers, immediately wrapping his arms around Jeongguk's waist. The younger's back is facing against him, but he can still see the small and contented smile Jeongguk has once he kisses his nape.

"I knew you'd come home."

"I always do, sweetheart. I'm sorry for waking you up."

Jeongguk immediately turns around to give Taehyung a quick peck on the lips. The younger notices the dark bags under Taehyung's eyes.

"You look so tired, Tae. Why don't you file a leave for a couple of days and give yourself some time to rest? I barely see you in here anymore. I miss you, you know?"

"I miss you too, sweetheart. But it's been crazy for the past few weeks. I have to work harder for us. I want to give you the life you deserve."

"You are giving me the life I deserve, Tae. In fact, you're giving me so much more. I just want to spend time with you, too."

Taehyung frowns at this, because he knows how hurt Jeongguk must've felt whenever he leaves him alone.

"I know, bub, and I'm really sorry. I promise I'll make it up to you once this project is finished. We'll go on dates again, and then we'll go to the zoo, or the amusement park and play games and ride on anything you want. Just hold on a little bit more, okay?"

Jeongguk nods, smiling a little. He closes his eyes Taehyung's lips land softly on either side of his cheeks.

"Are you cold, love?" He asks Taehyung.

"Just a little. Keep me warm?"

"Of course."

Jeongguk scoots closer, burying his face on the crook of Taehyung's neck. He can feel the small tremble of Taehyung's fingers as it starts to rub small circles on his back.
