The prom dance was awful

I almost started crying

And rushed from that building

Went home

And when I woke up in the morning
Hadn't slept well at all
Checked my phone
Found so many messages from you
Saying sorry again
And I how you cared about me
I told you you didn't have to be sorry

That you spend nights with other girls
And then apologise

You texted me back so fast that morning
You were so kind to me
You were trying so hard

That I was tired
