Mock battle over!

As I burst into the target room, Tenya was already holding his ground, standing firm in front of the "bomb" with his arms outstretched in a defensive stance. His glasses caught the light dramatically—how did he even manage that indoors?—and his entire posture screamed "I am the Class President, fight me!"

"Midoriya!" Tenya called, glancing at me briefly. "What's the situation with Bakugo?"

"Delayed," I replied, taking a second to catch my breath. "He's stubborn, but he's not invincible."

Tenya nodded sharply. "Good. That leaves Uraraka as the only threat."

"Not for long," I said, stepping forward. "Let's finish this."

At that exact moment, the door slammed open, and Uraraka floated in, her Zero Gravity Quirk already in play. She looked hesitant for a split second, but then her gaze steeled. Behind her floated a desk, a chair, and—was that a potted plant?

"Time to bring you down to earth!" she yelled, hurling the improvised projectiles toward us.

I reacted instantly, sidestepping the chair and ducking under the desk. "Tenya!" I called, gesturing to the plant heading straight for his head.

"I see it!" he barked, dodging to the side with his usual precision. He reached out and caught the pot midair—because of course he did—and gently set it down on the floor. "There's no need to destroy perfectly good decor," he muttered, straightening his tie like this was some kind of business meeting.

"Focus, Iida!" I shouted, my voice tinged with panic as Uraraka sent another wave of floating objects toward us.

We moved as a unit, Tenya and I weaving between attacks with surprising synchronization. He used his raw speed and reflexes to create openings, while I stayed agile, parkouring off walls and furniture to close the gap between us and Uraraka.

"Midoriya, you take the left!" Tenya shouted, kicking a floating chair out of the way with the precision of someone who'd practiced far too many soccer drills.

"On it!" I responded, darting to the side and climbing up onto a cabinet for higher ground. I could see Uraraka's movements more clearly from here, her face set in determination as she tried to divide her attention between both of us.

"You're good, Uraraka!" I called out, dodging another floating desk. "But we've got teamwork on our side!"

She grinned, sweat dripping down her forehead. "You're not bad yourself, Midoriya. But I'm not going down that easily!"

I could see she was struggling to maintain her focus. Using her Quirk like this was draining her, and Tenya and I were relentless. We pressed forward, keeping her on the defensive, until she finally stumbled back, her hand shooting to her side to grab at the wall for support.

"Now!" I shouted, signaling to Tenya.

He dashed forward in a blur of blue and white, his engines roaring as he sped past her and toward the "bomb." I followed close behind, vaulting over a fallen table and landing squarely in front of Uraraka. She looked up at me, wide-eyed and out of breath, as I raised my hand—not to strike her, but to stop her from reaching for the "bomb" again.

"It's over, Uraraka," I said gently, offering her a small smile. "You did great, but we've got this one."

She hesitated, her eyes flicking between me and Tenya, who was now standing triumphantly in front of the "bomb" with his arms crossed like some kind of overly serious superhero.

Finally, she let out a long sigh and dropped her hand. "Fine. You win."

The buzzer rang, signaling the end of the match.

I collapsed onto the floor, my chest heaving as the adrenaline finally began to fade. Tenya, of course, looked like he'd just finished a light jog, his posture impeccable as he adjusted his tie for the millionth time.

"Well done, Midoriya," he said, offering me a hand. "Your strategy and adaptability were crucial to our success."

I took his hand and let him pull me to my feet. "And your speed was the key to getting the bomb. We couldn't have done it without each other."

Uraraka sat nearby, catching her breath and giving us a thumbs-up. "You guys were amazing. Seriously, I didn't stand a chance."

"Are you kidding?" I said, shaking my head. "You were awesome! That chair-plant combo? Genius."

She laughed, wiping the sweat off her brow. "Thanks, but I guess I need to work on my endurance."

At that moment, the door slammed open again, and Bakugo stormed in, looking like he'd just gone through a war. His hair was singed in a few places, and there was a distinct scowl plastered across his face.

"You," he growled, pointing a finger at me like I'd personally offended him. "This isn't over, Deku."

"Good to see you too, Kacchan," I said, grinning despite myself. "You missed the end, by the way. We won."

His eyes widened for a split second before narrowing into a glare so intense it could've melted steel. "TSK....... damn luck, nerd!"

"Luck had nothing to do with it," I replied, crossing my arms. "I'm not the same quirkless kid you used to pick on. I've worked hard for this, and I'm not going to let you or anyone else stop me."

For a moment, I thought he might actually explode—literally—but then he turned and stormed out, muttering something about "stupid nerds" and "next time."

All Might's booming laughter echoed through the halls as he entered the room, clapping his hands together. "Excellent work, young heroes! A splendid demonstration of strategy, teamwork, and determination!"

He looked at me, his smile widening. "Midoriya, you showed remarkable ingenuity out there. And Iida, your leadership skills were top-notch."

"Thank you, sir!" Tenya said, bowing deeply. I just nodded, still trying to process everything that had just happened.

As we all headed back to the main training area, I couldn't help but smile. For the first time, I felt like I truly belonged here.

UA was tough, sure, but if today proved anything, it was that I had what it took to stand alongside the best.
