How can I stop now?

3rd POV since I feel like it.....

The next few days passed in a blur of visitors, laughter, and a warmth Izuku never expected. His hospital room, once a quiet and sterile place, became a lively hub of activity as people filed in and out, all there to see him. For the first time in what felt like forever, Izuku realized he wasn't as alone as he had always thought.

Kaito, of course, was a constant presence. From the moment he was allowed to visit, he made himself at home, dragging a sleeping bag into the corner of the room and outright refusing to leave.

"I'm not going anywhere," Kaito had said with his usual smirk. "You saved me from that fall, and now it's my turn to stick with ya as long as you need me and save you—from boredom and loneliness."

Izuku couldn't help but laugh at his friend's stubbornness, even as Kaito raided the hospital cafeteria for snacks and commandeered the hospital TV remote. "You're impossible," Izuku said, but deep down, he was grateful. Kaito's presence was a comforting reminder of how far their friendship had come.

Then there was Aizawa-sensei, who appeared on the second day with a rolled-up sleeping bag under his arm. Izuku blinked in surprise as his sensei calmly unrolled it on the floor next to Kaito's makeshift setup.

"Uh... Sensei?" Izuku asked, staring at the sight of his normally intimidating teacher making himself comfortable on the hospital floor.

"I'm staying," Aizawa said simply, settling into the sleeping bag. "Villains are still out there, and I'm not taking any chances with my students."

"But—"

"Stop talking and rest, problem child," Aizawa interrupted, pulling the zipper up. "I'm here for your protection, not for conversation. And don't think I've forgotten about your reckless behavior. We'll address that once you're fully healed."

Despite the gruff words, Izuku felt a wave of gratitude. Aizawa's presence, while unexpected, made him feel safe. It was like having a silent guardian in the room, someone who would protect him no matter what.

On the third day, Hawks dropped by, much to Izuku's shock. The Pro Hero strolled in with his usual casual swagger, a bag of takeout in hand and a grin on his face. "Hey, kid," he said, plopping into the chair next to Izuku's bed. "Thought I'd check in on you. You gave us all quite the scare."

Izuku sat up straighter, feeling a little overwhelmed by the attention. "Hawks... you didn't have to—"

"Of course I did," Hawks interrupted, setting the bag down and leaning back. "You're the kid who took down a Nomu and held your own against Shigaraki. That's not something you see every day. Plus you two are giving me a run for my money nearly every day when I find you two doing parkouring." He smirked. "Plus, I needed to make sure you're not planning on pulling any more stunts like that anytime soon or try something stupid....."

Izuku blushed, scratching the back of his head. "I... I wasn't trying to be reckless. I just... couldn't let anyone get hurt."

Hawks nodded, his expression softening. "Yeah, I get that. You've got a good heart, kid. Just make sure you don't break it—or anything else—next time, alright?"

The two talked for a while, Hawks filling Izuku in on what had happened while he was unconscious. The heroes had managed to fend off the villains and secure USJ, but the attack had left everyone on edge. Hawks' words were a mix of encouragement and caution, and by the time he left, Izuku felt a renewed determination to get stronger—not just for himself, but for everyone who believed in him.

Then came his classmates. They trickled in throughout the week, sometimes alone, sometimes in pairs. Uraraka brought him a bouquet of flowers and sat by his bedside, chatting about how the class had been working on teamwork drills while he recovered.

"You really scared us, you know," she said, her voice gentle. "But we're all so proud of you, Izuku."

Iida was a frequent visitor, often bringing his textbooks and insisting that Izuku stay caught up on his studies. "As your class representative, it's my duty to ensure you're not left behind," he said, though his stern expression was softened by the relief in his eyes. "You've been through so much, Midoriya, but you're an inspiration to us all."

Even Bakugo stopped by once, though his visit was brief and filled with grumbled insults that somehow felt more like awkward attempts at encouragement. "Don't think this makes you better than me, Deku," he muttered, shoving a can of energy drink onto the bedside table. "You're still a damn nerd. Just... don't die, alright?"

Izuku couldn't stop smiling after that, even though Bakugo stormed out before he could say thank you.

By the end of the week, Izuku found himself overwhelmed by the sheer amount of support he had received. His mother, of course, was always by his side, making sure he ate well and got enough rest. But it was the steady stream of classmates, teachers, and even Pro Heroes that really drove the point home.

For so long, Izuku had believed he was alone, that his dream of becoming a hero was something he had to pursue on his own. But now, as he sat in his hospital bed surrounded by the warmth and laughter of the people who cared about him, he realized just how wrong he had been. His mother and Kaito weren't the only people he could rely on.

He wasn't alone—not anymore.

And that thought filled him with a strength he hadn't known he possessed.

As he lay back that night, staring at the ceiling, he couldn't help but smile.

UA wasn't just a school.

 It was a family.

And no matter what comes, he would always treasure this moment and fight to protect them all.
