"This is your house??".

The girls looked up in shock. Rainbow nodded. Her house was a very fancy house. The girls looked up at it, with wide eyes.

"Yup. My personal small version of hell. Cmon".

She walked up to the front door. The girls looked at eachother before they followed her inside. Walking in the girls looked around in awe.

"My goodness", Rarity said. "This place is amazing".

It looked like it was worth a million dollars. With stone pillars, marble floors and grand staircase. It was huge. They noticed clothes were all over the floor.

"Yeah. My dad's kinda rich and important", Rainbow said smirking.

She began to pick up the dirty clothes. The girls helped her. They gathered up all the clothes that was on the floor.

"Follow me".

The girls followed Rainbow through the huge house out to the backyard. The while yard was one of those yard with a pool and rocks filling up the yard. No grass. Rainbow Dash walked over a washbasin. Putting the clothes down she picked up the washbasin and a bottle of pink soap that was beside it.

She carried over to a faucet. Turning it on water rushed out, filling the basic quickly. Filling it she stood up and said, "put the clothes over here".

The dropped the clothes into a pile. She knelt down, wincing as the rocks jabbed into her knees. Rainbow picked up the bottle of soap and looked at her friends.

"This is how I wash the clothes. Now you're probably wondering 'Why doesn't she just use the washing machine like a normal person??'. My dad told me to do it this way. If I don't do it, he'll know. Trust me. He'll find out and then I'll get in trouble. Plus, he likes it when there's more work for me to do".

Rainbow rolled her eyes. She poured the soap into the water and put the bottle down. Using her hands she mixed it up. When she was finished she took a shirt and dunked it in. It took about 10 minutes to get it clean.  Rainbow squeezed the water out and laid the shirt on shoulder to hold it.

"You're gunna all wet".

Rainbow shrugged. "Once my dad made me sleep outside as a punishment and it was raining that night", she said.

Applejack's eyes widened. "So that's why ya came ta school that day wet an sick".

Rainbow nodded and grabbed one of her shirts. It was all ripped up. She sighed and dunked it. It was quiet for a while. The only sound was the sound of articles of clothing being dunked into the water and scrubbed clean.

Rainbow's POV:

I sigh quietly as scrubbed the skirt in my hands. My arms were sore. My knees were killing me. Stupid rocks.

Water must've gotten into the open cuts on arms because I felt a stinging feeling. I hissed.

"Ow".

"Rainbow, maybe you should take a break", Applejack said.

I stop and look up at her. She looked worried.

"At least Twi take a look at chur..... cuts".

"I have to finish this", I said. "If she tendsnto them now they'll end up opening again".

I got up a little so I was only on one knee. I squeezed the water out and laid the skirt on my thigh. The water sunk through my pants.

"Well there must be something we can do", Rarity said. I glanced up at her. She was crossing her arms.

"I refuse to sit here and watch you torture yourself like this".

I smiled a little at her thoughtfulness but I forced it away. No smiling.

"See??", she exclaimed. "You're not even allowing yourself to smile".

I sigh. "My dad says I don't deserve to smile", I say quietly and got back to work.

I wipe the sweet from my forehead. Man it was hot out. I sigh as I finish washing the last piece of clothing. I gather up all the wet clothes and stood up.

"Rainbow. Your cuts will get infected if you put them on your arms", Twilight said.

I ignored her and hung up the clothes to dry. Seriously dad??. Hang the clothes to dry??. What is this??. The 1500s??.

"There finished".

I look at the hung clothes. I look down at my scarred arms. I looked at the words carved into my skin by my dad as a reminder. I read each word quietly. 'Ugly' 'stupid' 'worthless'. I suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I cross my arms and sigh.

"Do you believe those words??", I heard Applejack say. "Do you think of yourself as that??".

I look at the rocks in shame. I knelt down on the rocks, the girls sat around me. Why shouldn't I believe it??. It's true.

"Why are you guys friends with me??", I ask looking around at them. "And be honest".

They looked at eachother then at me.

"Well, you're funny",Twilight started off. "And you're the most loyalty person in Equestria".

"You're an amazing friend", Fluttershy said smiling. "You stood up for me against bullies when I couldn't do it myself. And for that I'll never be able to repay you".

I smile a little.

"You're not afraid to say what's on your mind", Rarity said. "Or at least wasn't afraid. Not sure about now".

I look at Pinkie Pie.

"You're my partner in crime", she said excitedly. "We prank people together and you're always at my parties".

Finally, I look at Applejack, who was sitting right next to me.

"You're amazin, funny, athletic".

She reached out a touched my hand.

"And you're strong".

I rolled my eyes.

"No, ah mean it", she said. "You live a life noone should ever have ta. You go through so much pain and yet you make sure that your friends are happy. You're smart, loyal, funny, an carin".

She kissed my cheek, making me go red in the face.

"Ah like that about cha".

I look down trying to hide my blush but a hand pulled my head up. I looked at Applejack who as smiling.

"It's cute when ya blush", she said.

"Let's head inside", I said. I stood up but stopped. I felt something wet on my legs. Lookimg down I saw that there was blood running down my knees.

"Ah man!!", I whine. "Now my dad's gunna kill me for getting blood on the rocks".

"Blood??", Twilight said. "Where??".

I motion to my knees. She gasped.

"Rainbow sit down".

Twilight and Applejack forced me to sit down.

"Guys. I have to start cleaning".

Guess that'll just have to wait. I sigh. My dad is gunna kill me if I don't get my chores done. Twilight made a first aid kit appear. She took out some gauze and a towel and some bottles with some liquid stuff inside.

"What's in the bottles??".

"Disinfectants", she replied. "Rubbing alcohol and peroxide to be exact. Pinkie??, can you get me a wet towel??".

Pinkie was gone and back in a flash. How she did it, ain't nobody know. Twilight thanked her and then took the wet towel. She began to clean up the blood on my legs. I couldn't help but feel embarrassed that she was doing all this when I should've jusy sucked it up and manned up.

Once she finished, she took the  dry towel and poured one of the liquids onto it. She looked at me.

"This might sting", she warned. I shrugged. I was use to cleaning myself up so I was immune to the stinging by now. Twilight dabbed at my knees. When I didn't respond in pain she continued to clean the gashes on my knees. After a few minutes she put everything away and took out a medical wrap.

"I got this", I said. I took the wrap from her. I wrapped my knees with the what I knew was a good amount. That should stop any further bleeding. I cut it off and sealed it closed. I handed it back to Twilight.

She made the kit dissappear. I stand up and stretch out my tired arms and legs. It felt good to stand again.

"C'mon. We gotta head inside", I said.

We get up and head back into the house. Time to get to work.
