Okay, so, Louis has a problem.
It's kind of major too. His boyfriend just told him he's pregnant. And they're still only in school. So. Louis considers himself in moderately deep shit at the moment.
The pregnancy test is still clutched in his hand as he stared down at it. Harry's biting his bottom lip, eyes glancing back and forth between Louis' face and the test. They're sitting across from each other on Louis' bed. Louis was kind of expecting to get blowed today, he's not going to lie. This was quite a turn of events. "Louis?"
Louis doesn't say anything. He sits there, lips parted as he stares at the two lines on the pregnancy test. He's only seventeen, oh God. Harry's sixteen. And he's having a baby. They're having a baby.
"Louis, please," Harry whispers, his voice trembling. Louis finally looks up at Harry, and he sees the fear in his eyes. He's so beautiful, too, Louis' in way over his head. They're only in secondary school. Harry's so, so young.
"W-What do you want to do?" Louis asks shakily. He can't breathe, his chest kind of hurts. He looks back down at the test–yup, the two lines are still there.
"I-I don't think I want an abortion," Harry admits, looking so tiny and breakable in that moment. Louis' first instinct is to hold Harry, so he does. He wraps his arms around Harry and pulls him into his lap, pressing a gentle kiss to his jawline.
"I would never ask you to do something like that," Louis assures. "It's your own body. If you wanted to, I'd support you."
"I love you," Harry sniffles, eyes shiny with tears. Louis' eyes soften. "What do we do, Louis?"
"I-I don't know," Louis admits. "Um, we'd have to tell our parents, I guess. To figure out what to do."
"Oh, God," Harry buries his face in Louis' neck. "My mum is going to kill me."
"No, she's not," Louis assures. "She might be a little mad, but she's not going to kill you. We're just going to figure this out together, okay?"
Harry nods, and Louis holds him even tighter. He's so scared right now, his hands are shaking. His chest hurts again, and he closes his eyes and focuses on making Harry feel better.
♛
Louis wakes up a few hours later. They must have fallen asleep–he remembers him and Harry getting under the covers, and he remembers Harry crying again, and that's it. He looks down to see Harry still sleeping, snuggled into his chest. He's so in love with him he feels like his heart could burst.
He kisses the top of Harry's head, looking up at his nightstand to see two plates of food. One has green beans, one doesn't. Harry comes over so much Louis' mother knows he doesn't like green beans. They must've slept through dinner.
"Baby," Louis whispers, kissing Harry's forehead. "Hazza, love."
"Hm?" Harry mumbles sleepily, burying his face deeper into Louis' chest.
"You hungry? My mom brought us some food," Louis says softly. Harry nods slowly, his eyes fluttering open as he looks up at Louis.
"Hi," Harry says quietly. Louis smiles weakly, leaning down and kissing him.
"Hi," Louis says back. "Want your food?"
"Yes, please," Harry rubs his eyes and sits up, Louis sitting up with him. Harry takes his plate off the nightstand while Louis wraps his arms around Harry's waist, leaning his forehead against Harry's shoulder.
"I love you," Louis whispers. "I'm sorry this is happening."
Harry grins weakly, leaning down and pressing a kiss to the top of Louis' head. "I love you too," He says. "And we'll figure it out, yeah? Just like you said. We'll be okay."
Louis just closes his eyes. "Right," He mumbles, although he's not entirely sure that'll be the case. Harry bites a chicken nugget from his plate before feeding the other half of it to Louis, who eats it right from Harry's hand and makes the smaller boy giggle.
"You should eat your food too, L," Harry points out gently.
"I don't feel very good," Louis admits. "I'll eat in a little bit, don't worry about me."
"Okay," Harry sighs, probably too exhausted to put up a fight. Louis kisses his jawline before putting his head down again.
Harry doesn't go home until around nine-thirty that night, and Louis holds him tight as they stand by the door. He doesn't want Harry to leave, ever. He kisses him and says "Call me if you need anything," before Harry leaves, and Louis sighs.
He still doesn't feel very good. He's dizzy, and his chest hurts even more than it did before. He walks into the kitchen to see his mum cleaning up. "Hi, Mum."
"Hi, love," She says before looking up and furrowing her eyebrows. "You don't look well, Lou. Are you feeling okay?"
"Not really," Louis admits, leaning his back into the refrigerator. "I didn't eat, though, so. I'm probably just hungry.
Jay nods slowly, wiping down the counter with a sponge. Louis' legs feel shaky as he turns and opens the refrigerator, eyes scanning the food. It's only a few moments before his vision becomes blurry, and the last thing he remembers is falling to the ground.
"Louis!" His mother gasps, and that's the last thing he hears.
this is a very short first chapter but they will get longer i promise
