Surprisingly the first day of school had just flown by and it was now the last lesson of the day and you were last to get to class. Walking in to class, because you were late there was only one seat left, at the back. You sat in it awaiting for the roll call. As you where unpacking your stuff and readying yourself for the lesson to come, you could feel someone staring at you from your right. You turned your head to meet large silver eyes staring right into your (e/c) eyes. You took a better look at the boy and he had silky black night hair,  he was the guy that you saw at break. As you were still staring at him he immediately hid his face and faced back to the front. Just before he turned, you noticed a slight light pink under his eyes. Was he blushing?!! Just at that moment the teacher walked in and they began the lesson.

Kaneki POV

I arrived at school today knowing that Hide was home sick. The poor guy, i hope he comes back soon. As i closed my locker and began to walk around the corner, i collided with someone and fell to the floor dropping my stuff. I looked up and saw a girl, by the looks of things she was rushing to get to class. She quickly apologized and was off. I gathered my stuff and stood up brushing the dust off of my pants. I got a quick glance at her before she was just a blur in the distance. I looked down and realized my face was starting to heat up. Am i blushing?!!

 It became break and i started seeing that girl more often, she always hung with a popular guy named Luke, everyone loved that guy and all the girls would adore him, but he would only be interested in that one girl. I wonder why? As i was thinking i didn't realize i was still staring at her and her friends. They all started to look at me and i began to blush and walk away. I wish Hide was here....

It was already the last lesson of the day and i was in class early and i was seated at the back. As i waited for the teacher, i noticed the girl that bumped into me this morning walking to the back of the classroom. The way the sun shone through the window and reflected off her (s/c) skin and the way it made her (e/c) eyes sparkle. It amazed me how i have never noticed her before and how someone can be that beautiful. As she sat down i didn't notice myself still staring at her, and of course the only seat left in the room was next to me. She noticed me staring at her and turned to look at me. I immediately hid my face and turned to the front, i felt my face getting hotter by the second. Why does this happen to me? Do i have a crush on someone i just met?

The time passed by and every now and then i would sneak a glance at her before she would look at me i would face the front and act like nothing had happened. In the middle of the lesson we had an assignment to do and of course we had to do it with a partner. Because Hide was sick today, i had no one to partner up with. Great.. I put my head in my palm and tried to be invisible to the class but that didn't work of course. i felt someone standing in front of me. I took my head out of my palm and looked up. I was surprised to see a girl in front of me..it was her.......

(y/n) POV

As we were half way through class the teacher randomly assigned us an assignment which we had to do in partners. You could hear all the students groaning in annoyance as we were getting an assignment at the start of a new year. All i was really worried about was having to partner up with someone. Great, now who am i going to partner up with? Luke, (b/f) and (f/n) aren't in my class. You looked around the room to find that boy who was staring at you with his head in his hands. You laughed to yourself as you grabbed your stuff and walked over to his desk. you stood there for a second until he looked up at you with a surprised look in his silver orbs.

"Hi there! My name is (y/n) (l/n)! Would you like to be my partner?" You asked in the sweetest voice as the boy just stared up at you in awe. He looked like he was speechless. After a few seconds he stood up and bowed his head with his hand out to you. Wow, what a gentleman haha, i kinda feel like Luke right now with all the attention!

"Y-yes i would l-love to be your partner!" He said to you while he still had his head bowed. You looked at him with your (e/c) eyes wide, you shook his hand and smiled with your eyes closed.

"Sorry, i um didn't catch you name.....?" He took his hand away from you and held it with his other.

"K-Kaneki Ken."

"Well Kaneki, nice to meet you!" And with that he just nodded and looked down to the ground. You started the assignment together and Kaneki became a bit more cooperative with you and became a bit less tense. He seemed like a really nice guy.
