Chapter 6

"Are you kidding me?! My AUNT caused Jupiter to stretch out and explode?!" Sam shouted. "Yes. She... she's trying to kill me," her uncle confessed. "But, not to be a downer, but if she wanted to kill you, why didn't she just walk up to you and stab you and not destroy our entire home planet?" Sam demanded. "Because... if she did... she wouldn't have stopped there. So I stayed in hiding and when she couldn't find me, she figured that if she destroyed Jupiter, she'd destroy me along with it. She knows I'm on Earth. And she's trying to destroy it, too. She doesn't care who she kills, as long as she gets me," he said. "So what you're saying is that my aunt's a psychopath that didn't mind killing her own brother, his wife and their younger daughter as long as she got you?!" Sam asked. "Pretty much. But I have a stack of books in the attic if you need to find out more," her uncle said. "I'll do that."

Sam made herself a comfortable place in the attic and started reading the books. She read one book that titled "Prophecies of the Future of Jupiter". the book was made 17 years ago, in 2054. Sam started reading it. There were mostly prophecies that had already happened. Sam decided she could trust the book. She then saw a prophecy that caught her eye.

As the downfall of Jupiter was brought, the monster who caused shalt try again to kill its victim. The monster shalt feel the pain of Jupiter, as only someone deeply affected and blood-related to the monster shalt defeat her.

Was this talking about Sam's aunt? It must've been. Only someone deeply affected and blood-related. Sam thought and realized that she was the only blood-relative left of her aunt. She was the only one who could kill her. Sam didn't want this, but if she was going to save Earth, she would. She couldn't do it alone. She needed help from Thomas,Jonathan, and Victoria. and... Esmeralda? she thought to herself.

When Sam went to sleep, she had an odd dream. She and a group of people were wearing black outfits, all with a strange engravement on them. She could hear something faintly. It sounded like... a heartbeat? Sam realized it was her own... but everyone else seemed to hear them too. Everyone's hearts were beating at once. Sam looked up. There was someone who looked faintly like Sam herself. It couldn't be... was it her aunt? "So! You've figured out my secret!" the person said. "Well, I'll see to it that the prophecy NEVER comes true!" Sam awoke with a start. Whatever her aunt was going to do to get rid of the Earth, Sam knew that she had to stop it.
