I knew something was wrong the second Axel and Raven called the rest of the guys, urging them to meet at the hospital. I didn't know exactly why they had to rush to the hospital—or who was injured but I would soon find out.
"Corey? What happened?" I whispered as I sat by his side, grasping onto his arm. "It's Sang. She fell down the stairs in the Blackbourne house—according to Owen and Sean, she's in bad shape, but she'll recover."
"H-how did she fall down the stairs? Why was she even there?" I stuttered, feeling slightly bad for Sang, even though she was a two-faced bitch; I didn't want her to die.
"I was there an hour ago—to get the phone Mr. Blackbourne gave me. When did all of this happen?"
"She was getting her clothes and other necessities out of the house. They got to the hospital about twenty minutes ago." Corey replied, placing a kiss on my head before he got up. "Axel needs me at the hospital to discuss some things. Will you be alright alone?"
"I'll be fine, I promise. You go on ahead and check in on the rest of the guys."
"I'll see you later sunny." He winked, pecking my lips twice before walking out the door, leaving me smiling slightly.
Before I forgot; I quickly sent a text to Owen, asking about Sang's condition before I walked inside Marc's bedroom to pack my clothes. I had school tomorrow, so I had to be at Owen's house later tonight so he could give me a lift to school.
"Owen? How is she? Is Sang alright?" I asked after answering his call. I had started to realize something was wrong with him when he never replied—the only sound coming from him was heavy breathing. "Owen?"
"Why did you do it?" He asked coldly, ignoring my earlier questions. "What are you talking about? What did I do?" I wondered, frowning slightly as I tried to come to terms with what he was saying. "Why did you push her down the fucking stairs!?" He all but shouted, making me flinch back from the utter loudness of his voice.
"I didn't push anyone down the stairs, you fucktard!" I retorted, growing angry. "I've been with Marc and the guys all day—except when I had to stop by your house to grab my phone."
"I want you out of my house."
"What?" I whispered; eyes downcast as my heart started beating erratically. "I said I want you out of my house. I'm done putting up with you—your problems, and your lies. You're being
placed in a plane back to Ireland in the morning."
"I didn't do anything! I promise!"
"Make sure all of your things are packed Miss. Nolan."
------------ Time seemed to pass by slowly while I walked in the direction of the Blackbourne estate with my head hung low, and my heart slowly breaking, as the heavy rain pelted down on my frame. Fresh salty tears ran slowly down my face, mixing with the rain drops as the Blackbourne house came into view. As I climbed up the stairs leading to the front porch, I couldn't help but wonder what my life has come to.
- Being accused of attempted murder.
- Being accused of being a liar.
- Being thrown out of a place—a home I had started to feel comfortable in.
I couldn't help but pray Marc, Axel and the rest believed me.
"Let's get this over with." I muttered, wiping my feet off on the mat as I wiped my face. I was dripping wet—so I would have to do this quickly.
Making my way quickly towards the guest room; I grabbed my three bags and zipped them up, leaving all my textbooks and everything else Mr. Blackbourne had given me before a voice stopped me.
"Keelan." My eyes widened as I swirled around to come face to face with Axel—who leaned against the doorway of the guest room, with an unreadable expression on his face. "Yeah?" My voice was oddly quiet as I stared at him—waiting.
"You almost killed her." He remarked, glaring slightly at me.
"Why would you do such a thing?"
"I didn't do anything! I don't know why I'm being accused of this! I've been with all of you today! The only time I've stepped foot in this house was two hours ago! When I had to get my phone."
"Sang already told Owen. That was the first thing she said when she woke. Why shouldn't we believe her?"
"I may not like her—But I don't want her hurt, or dead. Why would I have to hurt her? What would I have to gain from that?"
"You want Sang out of your way—so you could have the rest of the blackbourne team to yourself."
"You sound like an amateur plotter—let me break it down for you—I don't like the rest of them. They treated me like shit when I came here. Why the fuck would I want them? That women can have them for all I care!" I clenched my teeth, willing my rising anger to calm.
"You're not the person I thought you were—you're not the person we all thought you were."
"No matter what I say—you won't believe me. So do yourself and the others a favor and leave—let me pack so I can get the fuck away from this god forsaken town." I replied quietly, turning around, hiding the tears in my eyes as my chest ached.
"Oh, and before you leave—when you get to the hospital, ask Victor to check the cameras. They're all over the house." I sniffled, hating myself as a sob passed my lips.
It was too late to pretend I wasn't crying.
I finally allowed my emotions to crash over me as his footsteps retreated and the front door closed. My hands shook as I grasped the necklace Mr. Blackbourne had given me when I passed my entrance exams, and tore it off my neck, breaking the chain before I laid it on the desk.
"What am I going to do now?" I cried, grasping my chest as my legs wobbled, I had to try to pull myself together before they came back. I had to get out of here.
"Mam?" I whimpered holding Mr. Blackbourne's phone to my ear. "Can I come home?" I sobbed loudly startling her.
"Keelan!? Baby, what's wrong?"
"Can I please come home? I don't want to be here anymore—nobody wants me to be here anymore." I wiped my hand harshly on my face as I waited for her reply.
"Of course, you can, my darling. But what happened?"
"I'll tell you when I get home." I told her, "I love you, Mam." I continued before hanging up. I knew I had worried her—but in this moment, I didn't have it in me to care.
I just needed to get out of here.
With all my things in my hands and a uber that would be here in five minutes, all I had to do was buy an airline ticket.
"Goodbye." I whispered, looking around the empty room. I had made sure to leave all the things Mr. Blackboure, Axel, and the rest of them guy had gotten me—they were safely stashed on the desk next to my backpack before I stepped outside of the bedroom. Before I closed the door, I made sure to place Mr. Blackbourne's phone on top of the pile of books.
I knew Mr. Blackbourne was still expecting me to stay inside my room, but I guess I would do him and myself a favor and get out before he came back.
I don't think my heart could take it.
"Where to Ma'am?" The middle-aged driver asked, as I slid inside the backseat. Just in time to see the multiple SUVs came to a stop in front of the house.
Due to how hard it was raining, I failed to see who jumped out and started running inside the house.
"The airport please." I cleared my throat, tearing my eyes away from the window as my eyes connected with steel-colored eyes.
"We'll be there soon."
"Thank you." I gave a small grin as the driver direct the car to the street, before driving down the road.
I didn't look back once, not even as loud yells pierced my ears as the driver looked back at me, with a raised brow.
I would be home soon.
Back to Dee.
THE END
