TAMPA BAY

The girls were standing within the crowds, with their faces covered with masks as they were having their eyes on a white boat in the middle of the river.

Evelynn: "So, what are we doing here again?" She asked.

Ahri: "Hm? What do you mean what we're doing here? We're at SOF Week! Don't you remember that Michael invited us here?"

Evelynn tapped her chin as she was thinking of something. She then clapped her hand.

Evelynn: "Oh yeah. I forgot that he invited us and you just accept it."

Kai'sa: "I am surprised that Ahri wanted to go to something that is different from new products launching events..."

Ahri: "Hey! Its not wrong to try something new, right?" She said, defending herself.

Suddenly, a loud roaring sound came from above them as they looked up and saw a jet flew above.

K/A/E: "Woooowwww...."

Akali: "That's F-35!" She said as she recognized the looks of the stealth jet. Ahri stared at her blankly.

Speaker: *As you can see, an F-35 had flown above to provide close air support for our troops to move in and secure the target. Now, I want you to shift your attention to the left side as 1 MH-60 Blackhawk flown by our finest 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, or Night Stalker slowly approaching the target for fast infil.*

The Blackhawk was seen flying low and fast towards the white boat. The sounds of the minigun could be heard as the gunners blasting it.

Kai'sa: "Aren't they flying too fast?" She said as she looked at the fast Blackhawk.

As the Blackhawk approaching the boat, the pilot then pulled the stick, making it nose pitched up and rapidly stopped the Blackhawk from flying forward. The Blackhawk then hovered just above the boat and the rope was deployed.

K/A/E: "Wooooo......"

Ahri: "How can he fly a helicopter like that?" She said, amazed with the pilot skills.

Akali: "They're trained to be the finest pilot in the Army."

After the soldiers fastroped from the helicopter, the rope was detached and the helicopter immediately flew away.

Evelynn: "That gun is very loud..." She said, a bit annoyed by the sound of the minigun.

Then, two MH-6 Little Birds carrying 4 soldiers each on the platform that was fitted to it flew past them at high speed.

Kai'sa: "That's really fast!" She said as she looked at the Little Bird which one of it landed on top of a building.

Akali: "That's Little Bird. Fast and agile small helicopters."

Ahri: "Little Bird? The name is too cute for something like..... that."

Evelynn then wrapped an arm around her neck.

Evelynn: "How did you know all of this, Rogue~"

Akali: "I studied about it."

Evelynn: "Oh?~ Are you trying to impress someone?~" She teased. Akali then flinched.

Akali: "W-What the hell, Eve?! I studied because I want to know it... Yes! I want to know it." She said. Her face was blushing but was covered with her mask. Evelynn giggled by her sudden behavior.

The demonstration ended with the soldiers from Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman, or SWCC demonstrate their abilities manning their boats and the guns.

Kai'sa: "I am surprised to see a small boat can fitted with a lot of guns."

Akali: "Those boats were designed to carry such firepower! And they're specialized in special operation. They oftenly do missions in shallow water. That's why they need such small boat that can fitted with such firepower." She explained.

Ahri: "I am surprised that Akali knows this." She said im disbelief.

Akali: "Hey! I studied about it, okay?"

They walked around the outer exhibition area where they found several vehicles that was used by the special operations. Somehow, they had grew a bit of interest to get to know those vehicles. Akali and Kai'sa were the ones who got really excited to know more about it. They also came across other special operations units from different countries.

Ahri: "Hey, hey! Is that our troops?!" She said as she pointed towards the operators that had a South Korea flag patch om their shoulder. Akali squinted her eyes and realized that it was them.

Akali: "Oh! Oh! Lets meet them!" She said as she grabbed Ahri's hand and dragged her. Evelynn and Kai'sa watched them in amusement.

Ahri and Akali greeted the soldiers in Korean language, which made the soldiers shocked a bit but soon greeted back warmly. They took several pictures together before heading back to where Kai'sa and Evelynn waiting for them.

Kai'sa: "Did you guys having fun?"

Ahri: "Of course!~ you should see their faces when we greet them in Korean." She said and smiled.

Akali: "Come to think, where's Michael and (Y/n)? I thought they would be here too?"

Evelynn: "Oh?~ Eager to see your man?" She teased.

Akali: ".....I hate you." She said in low voice. They giggled as Akali shown her annoyances and crossed her arms.

Kai'sa: "Oh? Is that Michael?" She said as she saw him with the other operators wearing full tactical gears.

Ahri: "Hm? Oh yeah! Its really him!"

Evelynn: "Lets go meet him~"

They went towards Michael who was talking to other operators. One of the operators saw the girls approaching and he nudged Michael. Michael turned his head and smile widely.

Michael: "Welcome to SOF week, girls! How did you enjoyed this so far?" He asked.

Ahri: "It was great!~"

Evelynn: "Enjoyable, to be honest."

Ahri: "Kai'sa and Akali here were very excited especially when they saw those vehicles that was displayed."

Michael: "Really? Well you guys can explore more if you want to, you know? We also got indoor exhibition, but kinda lame in there.."

Ahri: "We know that~ But we just wanna stroll around at the outside. It seems more livery!"

(Y/n): "Oh? I didn't knew you girls would come here."

The groups turned their attention towards (Y/n), fully equipped in his tactical gear and had his face mask on.

Akali: "Yoo! You look sooo cool!!" She yelled, earning a laugh from him. "Are you one of those guys who did the demonstration?!"

(Y/n): "Nahh. I'm not with the demonstration team. I'm part of the security team."

Akali: "Aww shucks!" Akali said, with a bit of disappointment in her heart. But she couldn't help but stared at him as she never seen him closely in that outfit. Evelynn noticed her stealing a glance and smirked. Kai'sa decided to approach them.

Kai'sa: "(Y/n), I have several questions to ask." She said, earning attentions from both of them. "Regarding your... gears, of course." She said. She shown a bit of interest. This made (Y/n) smiled a bit.

(Y/n): "Of course! Anything you want to ask, I will gladly answer it with my best."

They went on talking about his stuff. From his helmet, to his tactical vest, and to his rifle. Each of the components had it different purposes. Akali was admiring his rifle. He noticed that she was staring at it.

(Y/n): "Wanna hold it, Kali?" He asked. Akali snapped out from her staring and looked at him.

Akali: "H-Huh? What?" She said in confusion. (Y/n) chuckled as he unloaded his rifle and racked the chamber a few times to make sure it was unloaded and safe. He then unhooked the sling and handed it to her.

(Y/n): "Here, try hold it."

Akali: "E-Eh?! Are you sure?" She asked.

(Y/n): "Dont worry. Its unloaded. Just don't point the rifle towards other person."

Akali then hesitantly took his rifle in her hand. She immediately felt the weight of the rifle.

Akali: "Holy shit! Its heavier that I thought! How did you manage to handle the weight?"

(Y/n): "You'll get used to it after carrying it for so long."

Kai'sa: "What's this rifle name?"

(Y/n): "This is HK416D variant, German made assault rifle. Firing 5.56x45mm NATO rounds, 16.5 inch, equipped with geissele rail. There are some attachments that I installed on the rifle such as the Eotech XPS2 with G33 magnifier for sight, tactical lights and laser illuminator for laser and lights when operating in dark environment."

Akali: "I dont know what it is but it sound cool!"

Kai'sa: "You studied about the helicopters but you didn't know about these things?"

Akali: "It's two different thing, bokkie! You wanna hold this?"

Kai'sa: "No thanks." Akali then handed back his rifle and he hooked it back on the sling. With a swift move, he inserted the magazine and racked the chamber.

Akali: "You sure look very professional when doing that."

(Y/n): "Countless of practicing, Kali."

Kai'sa: "Alright. Imma leave you too alone. Wanna check on what the others are doing~" She said as she walked away from them.

Akali: "You're not sweating in that?" She asked as she turned back to him.

(Y/n): "Haha! This is nothing much. So I'm not sweating as hell!" He said and Akali laughed.

Akali: "I bet that you're so smelly when sweating!"

(Y/n): "Believe me, if you're on a mission, even the smell of poop doesn't bothered you."

Akali: "Ewwww blurghh! Why you have to mention poop?"

(Y/n): "Its true! I once fell on a cow poop in Afghanistan when we got attacked by the insurgents. Believe me, you dont give a shit about the smell!" He said, remembering the embarrassing moment. Akali shook her head in amused.

Akali: "Ewwww that's nasty. Oh! Hold your position!" She said as she took out her phone. "Can I take a picture of you?"

(Y/n): "You don't even have to ask~" he said as he posing in front of her. Akali snapped a few pictures of him before she switched to the front camera.

Akali: "Come here! Lets take a selfie!" She said as she positioned the camera. "(Y/n), you're too tall! Bend a bit and get into the frame!" She said. (Y/n) shook his head and bend a bit so that he can fitted in the frame. He then playfully pinched her ears before she pressed the shutter. They did some few cute and casual poses.

Akali: "You dont mind if I post this on insta?"

(Y/n): "Sure. Just dont tag me. Wouldn't want the paparazzi to come and chase my ass." He said and Akali laughed.

Akali: "Imagine if they did that."

(Y/n): "No. Just no." He said as he brought his hand up. "I am willingly to stay at Antarctica rather than having them on my ass." Akali giggled.

Akali: "Come on! They will chase you eventually! Being a bodyguard sometimes can create a scene, you know?~"

(Y/n): "Especially when they see a group of fully armed soldiers around K/DA."

Akali: "That would be wild!"

(Y/n): "I know right? I wonder what are their responses when they see it." He laughed. "Anyways, I should get back on patrolling. You have fun, okay?" He said. Akali seemed a bit disappointed with this.

Akali: "Back on patrolling already?"

(Y/n): "Yeah. Duty, you know?" She gave him a nod.

Akali: "Yeah.. i know. I'll go back to them. Take care, (Y/n)~" she said as she waved at him. (Y/n) walked away before being stopped by her calling him. "(Y/n)!" He turned his body around towards her. "Can you bring me back to the ramen restaurant again? I-I want to eat ramen with you again."

(Y/n) gave her a thumbs up and waved before walking away. She stood there, with a smile plastered on her face.

Akali: 'Its another date....'

She then walked away to join her group.

Later that night, Akali returned to (Y/n)'s house after her group dropped her off. She knocked the door several times and Seraphine unlocked it.

Seraphine: "Eh? Hi, Akali!" She greeted as she opened the door.

Akali: "Yo there! You're alone, Sera?"

Seraphine: "Yeah. Just came back from hanging out with my friend. I thought my brother is with you?"

Akali: "Nope. He said he will come back very late. You know, after the exhibition, he said he had to deal with something else."

Seraphine: "Oh, right! I forgot about the SOF week!" She said as she stepped aside, letting Akali to enter the house and she sat on the couch. "So, how's the exhibition?" She asked as she closing the door and locked it.

Akali: "It was fun! The demonstration is really cool! I was excited when I saw some troops from my country there as well!" Seraphine giggled.

Seraphine: "I used to go there every year before I went to study abroad." She said as she took a seat next to her.

Akali: "Oh yeah. (Y/n) told me that you're studying in UK. Taking music, right?"

Seraphine: "Yeap!" She said as she beamed when Akali mentioned it. "I'm into music ever since I was a kid!"

Akali chuckled at her cheeful behavior.

Akali: "I can see that. With your personality and your good voice, you can be an idol one day, you know?"

Seraphine: "Eh?"

Akali: "(Y/n) showed me the video of your cover song. And I have to say, I am really impressed when you covered the Popstar song! And you literally nailed every single korean word when rapping!" She complimented. Seraphine was stunned and blushed when she received her compliment.

Seraphine: "O-Oh my god! I-I- Thank you! I-I really tried my best to pronounce it correctly!"

Akali: "Haha! No worries, you pronounced it very correctly! I am surprised that you learned korean too."

Seraphine: "Of course! I'm just like my brother, always love to learn new things!"

Akali: "I can see that!" She said and smiled.

There was a silence between them for a while. Akali then decided to ask some personal questions.

Akali: "Sera?" She called, earning an attention from her. "Can I ask you several personal question if you dont mind?"

Seraphine: "Sure! I will try my best to answer it~"

Akali then took a deep breath.

Akali: "If its too personal, then you don't have to answer it, okay? So.... You guys live together, right? But I've been meaning to ask, where are your parents?"

Seraphine stared at the ceiling and smiled.

Seraphine: "Oh, there's safe in heaven now.." she said in low voice. Akali's eyes slowly widened.

Akali: "H-Heaven? Did you mean...."

Seraphine: "Yeah. We lost our parents. That time, he was just graduate from college. I was 12 years old at that time."

Akali: "Oh shit.... I-I'm really sorry to hear that.."

Seraphine let out a soft giggle.

Seraphine: "Its fine! Its in the past now.. Sure, we really missed them but, they're always here in our hearts."

Akali was amazed with her strong heart. Its not something that people can do when they lost someone who is closed to them. Akali thought about her paretns back in Korea. Maybe its time for her to visit them when she was back in Korea.

Akali: "It must be hard for you guys, right?" She said in sympathetically.

Seraphine: "Yeah. Its hard at first. (Y/n) had to work to support our life. He had to work on few jobs before deciding to join the army..."

Akali: "Shit..... That's really tough."

Seraphine: "Indeed. But everything went smoothly. And I am very grateful to god for giving us the good thing. I continue to study in high school. At first I want to drop school, but he insisted on me finishing the school."

Seraphine: "So yeah, he continued to work while I'm finishing my school. After a while, he said to me that he wanted to join the army. I was against his idea, worried about his safety and so on. But eventually, I let him join the army."

Akali: "Mhmm I see. You guys are really tough, you know?"

Seraphine: "We're just doing our best to survive and live our lives. We realized that, we just to accept it, you know?

Akali: "Yeah. You're right."

Seraphine: "Yeah. Be grateful of what you still until now. You still have your parents, Kali?" She asked. Akali tensed a bit.

Akali: "Y-Yeah... It's... it's been a while since I visit them. Kinda.. busy with things." She said as she fidgeting with her finger.

Seraphine: "I understand that. But, if you have time, give them a visit."

Akali: "Yeah... I'll visit them when I got back to Korea with (Y/n).." She said. She then covered her mouth.

Seraphine: "Oh?~ What do you mean by that?~" she teased. Akali shooked her head

Akali: "N-No! I-Its not what you think!"

Seraphine: "Let me guess, you have a crush on him, right?" She teased as she leaned close to her. Akali covered her face in embarrassment. Seraphine giggled as she patted her shoulder. "Don't worry! I will keep this as a secret!~ So, how did you fallen in love with him? Did you guys confessed yet?!" She asked

Akali: 'Oh man......' she thought to herself as she took a deep breath and explained to her. Seraphine listened closely to her as she explained how and how she had taking a like on him.

Seraphine: "I see. No wonder why you had fallen on him~ And I'm sorry to hear the tragic moment that happened to you and the girls. It must be really hard, right?" She said. Akali remembered the timr where she was kidnapped and saved by him.

Akali: "If your brother didn't come, we wouldn't be here until now..."

Seraphine: "I am surprised when you said that he and the Delta came to rescue you guys. I've seen the news but didn't expected him and the tier 1 unit." She said and Akali nodded. There was a brief of silence before Seraphine spoke again.

Seraphine: "I believe that he might have told you a bit of his life story, right?" She assumed. Akali let out a sigh, remembering about what he had talked.

Akali: "Yeah... He told me about his past love story." Seraphine nodded weakly.

Seraphine: "That time was when he just came back from his first deployment in Ranger. The day he came back, was the day he found out about her..." She then sighed. "He told to me about that.... He was really broken at that time. He even locked himself in his room for a week. I had to call his friend to come and break his door."

Akali's eyes well up a bit. She couldn't imagine the pain that he had gone through. She clenched her fist and set in her heart, that she would do anything to not broke his heart.

Seraphine: "If you want to confess to him, do it properly, okay? He might still closed from any romantic relationship. But if it's you, maybe he will open up his heart." She said confidently.

Akali: "But, what if he rejects it?" She said as she felt a mix of worries and anxiety building up inside her. Seraphine placed her hand on her shoulder.

Seraphine: "Trust me. I know my brother wll enough. You just have to break the shell. Then he will be yours~ I'm sure he would feel the same. You just need the right time and a right place." She said, trying to convince her. Akali let out a shaky sigh and nodded.

Akali: "Thanks, Sera." She laughed.

Seraphine: "I didn't do anything! But I see that you have locked your eyes on him! And I would love to see you guys together!" She said, beaming in happiness. "Take care of my brother, okay? I'm not around with him 24/7. I just want him to be happy, you know? He may seem like he's a happy-go-lucky guy. But deep inside, he is still hurt, even after he had settled things with her ex."

Akali nodded.

Akali: "I will do my best, Sera. I will take care of his heart." She said confidently. Seraphine smiled widely and nodded.

Seraphine: "Okay! I'm off to my room. Tired after all the hangouts. Night, Akali!" She said as she hopped off from the couch, leaving Akali alone in on the living room.

Akali: '(Y/n)..... You've been through so much, yet you didn't show it. You're very strong.'

Akali: "That's why I like you..." She said it out loudly.

(Y/n): "Who likes who?" He said, suddenly came out of nowhere.

Akali jumped out from the couch and turned her body towards him, with a shocked expression on her face.

Akali: "(Y/n)?! H-How?!" She shouted as she looked at him, wearing a multicam combat pants and a black t-shirt. "When did you came back and how long have you been standing there?!"

(Y/n): "I just arrived." He said as he put his bike keys on the table. "What are you doing? I thought you had gone to sleep."

Akali: "N-Nothing.... I-I just... Chilling... Yeah." She said as she tried to hide her blush. She hope to god that he didn't heard what she said.

(Y/n): "Hm? You okay? Your face are red." He said as he approached her and put his hand on her forehead. "Mhmm... You don't have a fever..."

Akali then swatted his hand and ran upstairs. He heard her shuts the door loudly.

(Y/n): "Weird......" He said but shrugged it off.
