KDA was given two weeks of break after the concert. The girls decided to stay at a hotel in LA and have some fun before going back to Korea for another concert.

They travelled to LA with a bus. On the highway, the girls were minding their own business. Ahri was taking a nap with her headphones on, Kai'sa was watching some videos on her phone, Evelynn was reading and Akali was playing games on her Nitendo Switch.

As they entered LA, Akali was looking outside through the window. She sometimes would look at the people who were walking on the sidewalk, sometimes at the tall buildings, and sometimes trying to find several food restaurants that might caught her interest.

But in her mind, she was still thinking about (Y/n), especially the small gift that he gave. Akali was smilling a bit. She then pulled out something from her pocket. It was a patch with stylized spearhead pattern in red colour and a dagger in the middle of the patch. She caressed the patch with her thumb.

Akali: 'Could it be him?'

As they arrived at the hotel, they got off the bus and carried their luggage and entered the hotel. Several of the people inside was shocked when they saw the group but they maintained their cool. Some of them waved their hands with wide smiles on their faces and some of them recorded videos of them. The girls gladly waved them back.

Evelynn went to the front desk and asked a male who worked as receptionist for a room, which he offered them one of the best room that the hotel can provide.

Receptionist: "Alright. Here's your keycard. Your room number will be 6098. Just take the elevator and pressed the 6th floor button. Keep in mind that there are 4 cards so each one of you will have it. Everytime you want to use the elevator, you have to scanned the card then you can pressed the button." He explained in cheerful tone.

Evelynn: "Good~ Is there anything else?"

Receptionist: "Oh! There might be a military training tonight. If you heard anything weird, just let it be." Evelynn then thanked him and gave $200 to him as a tip.

The girls then went to their room and settled down.

The Commanding Officer of the training, Rorke was having a briefing with Delta's A-Squadron, DEVGRU (Seal Team 6) and several guys from the 24th Special Tactics Squadron regarding the training for tonight.

Rorke: "Training for tonight will be the same as usual. Hostage rescue situation. We will be working together. So we go in by helicopters, 4 Little Birds and 2 Pave Hawks will be our transport."

Rorke: "The Little Birds will transport the marksman and spotters to their designated building. The Pave hawks will dropped the operators in front of the target building. Based on intel, possibly the hostages are placed on the 5th floor of the building. Which room, we dont know. So clear every room as you can. Any questions?" An operator from Devgru raised his hand.

Devgru 1: "Do we uses explosive?"

Rorke: "Nope. No explosion. Just use imitation. Dont want the owner of the building to suddenly show up at the command center and rumbling about the broken doors. Anything else?" The others stayed silent. "Alright. You guy's dismissed. Go get your gears or whatsoever." The operators then left the room.

(Y/n) was making his way to the locker room to prep his gears. He was wearing his black t-shirts that has velcro attached on both sleeves and multicam combat pants. He entered the locker room and went to his locker. He grabbed his place carrier and his helmet and put it on a bench behind him before grabbing his rifle, HK416 Geissele.

He began to assemble his rifle by attaching the attachments. His choices were Eotech XPS2 with G33 magnifier for sight, DBal A2 and Surefire mini scout light for laser and lights that will be attached at the front of the rifle.

While he was attaching those things, his phone suddenly ding. He took it out and saw a message from Michael.

Michael:
[Yo.]

(Y/n):
[Oui.]

Michael:
[Remember when KDA said we can spend a day with them?]

(Y/n):
[Yeah. Why?]

Michael:
[I managed to get a greenlight from Higher ups. We both will get a day off.]

(Y/n):
[Sweet! When?]

Michael:
[Two days after the training.]

(Y/n):
[Ay. Thanks for letting me know.]

Michael:
[Anytime.]

He then put his phone aside and went back to his thing. But he was really excited. After finishing his rifle, he then put on his plate carrier and slinged his rifle. He took his helmet with him and walked out from the locker room as he made his way to the helipad.

(Pretty similar to this except for the guns and the vest)

As night arrived, the activity within the area had died a bit. The residences of the area were spending their nights at their home. Some of them would take a stroll in the night. That included Akali.

After they had settled down and rested, Akali decided to walk around the town. She had her hoodie and mask to prevent her from being recognized by the publics and that might put her in hard way if she was caught by the public.

As she walked and look around, she was several food restaurants. But one thing that she was looking for, was ramen. She wanted to taste the ramen made by them. She found a restaurant that caught her interest and went for it. She was greeted by a man who was in his 50s wearing his apron. Probably the chef.

Chef: "Good evening, Miss. What can I do for you?"

Akali: "Uhmmm...." She began to look at the menus. "Can I have the Spicy Tonkotsu please?" She ordered and the chef smiled.

Chef: "Good choice! How about drinks?"

Akali: "Diet coke please."

Chef: "Alright. Anything else?" Akali only shook her head. "That would be $16.45." She then gave him the money. "Alright. Please be seated. I'll give your order shortly."

Akali then went to sit at the table near the window. She then took out her phone and scrolled through the social media. More and more news and updates about the elite units.

Akali: 'Man the algorithm......'

Then, her order arrived and she began to dig in her meals. Her eyes widen as she let out a satisfied humming, meaning that the ramen was very delicious.

Then, loud engine sound could be heard from outside. She looked outside to see several what seem to be an armored vehicle rolling on the streets.

Chef: "Oh. It seems that they're about to begin their trainings."

Akali: "Who?" She asked in confused.

Chef: "Those are special forces. They often did some urban trainings here. When you heard the helicopter sound...." Right on cue, whizzing sounds produced by the helicopter blades that was flying just above them broke the surroundings. "That means their training had begun."

This sparks her interest as she had never seen any of those thing in front of her eyes. She quickly finished her meals and thanked the chef for the delicious meal before heading out to get a closer view.

Two small helicopters flew past above her as she walked out from the restaurant. She had to cover her eyes due to the strong wind from the rotors.

Akali: "That is freaking awesome!" She exclaimed, feeling the adrenaline. She saw several people stood near a police car, which blocked the way to prevent from any other cars or people from passing.

She then ran and stood in the small crowds as they watched the training together. She saw the small helicopters landed and people getting out of the helicopters rushed towards the building.

Akali: 'Those guys are really badass!'

The helicopters then flew up and vanished from her eyesights.

Akali: 'That is pretty fast for a small helicopter...'

Then, she could heard several muffled gunshots. Her eyes widen when she heard it.

Akali: "Is this really trainings or a real situation?" She asked loudly. One of the bystanders answered her.

Bystander: "Nahh. Those are just blank bullets." He said. Her lips pursed into an acknowledged o-shaped.

After a while, she saw the military guys came out from the building. But they didn't move like they're waiting for something. Akali then pulled out her phone and switch on the camera. She snapped a few photos.

Thanks to the Iphone's camera capabilities , she managed to capture some high quality pictures even though it was zoomed.

Then, a louder whizzing sound could be heard from above as Akali looked up and saw two more helicopters but it was a bit bigger than before. It landed on the streets near those military guy.

Out of nowhere, two people who wore the same outfits as them and carrying guns ran passed Akali and the bystanders. Akali almost screamed as she was suprised to see them. One of the guys stopped near the policeman and was talking something to him. He then looked at the bystanders before heading back to the helicopters.

She narrowed her eyes when she saw the an insignia on that guy's shoulder. It was the same insignia that she had in her hand. But one thing that really caught her attention, was that guy's eyes. She could see that guy's (e/c) even though she couldn't see his full face since he was wearing mask. Only one particular person that came into her mind.

Akali: 'Is that...... (Y/n)?'

The sound of the helicopter's blade slowly fading as it took off and flew away from the city. The training had ended and the area was then cleared from any military presence.

Akali made her way back to the hotel with her mind full of thoughts.

Akali: 'It can't be him, right? I mean, of course he's a ranger. But his face is so cute and it doesn't fit the description of how badass the Delta's are... But, it can be the opposite right?'

She reached the hotel and went to the elevator. Her mind was still thinking about (Y/n).

Akali: 'He seems like a good person tho.. a small gift from him make my heart melts.. and he's very cute. I wonde if he- wait. What the hell am I thinking?' She shook her head trying to wipe away her thoughts. The elevator dinged and the door slide open. She then walked out from the elevator and went to the room.

She then tapped her card at the door and pushed the door.

Ahri: "Akali! Where have you been?" Ahri asked in worried tone.

Akali: "I was wandering around the town and stuffed my stomach with ramen at a restaurant near here."

Ahri: "And you didn't get anything for us?"

Akali: "Well, i see some empty plates on the table there...." She said as her eyes glanced at the table, with 5 emptied plates on it. "I guess you guys are fine. Where's the others?"

Ahri: "Kai'sa and Eve in their rooms. I think they're already sleep after those loud noises."

Akali: "Loud noises?" She asked while raising her eyebrow. "Is it...."

Ahri: "Not that kind of noises! I mean, something's buzzing around outside of the hotel."

Akali: "Ah! You must be talking about the helicopters."

Ahri: "The what?"

Akali: "Helicopters. Some military trainings happened in this town. And I was there when it happens."

Ahri: "Really?"

Akali: "Yeah." She then pulled out her phone and walked to Ahri as she sat on the couch next to her. "I took some photos." She said as she scrolled through her gallery and showed her the pic.

Ahri: "Military trainings in the middle of the night?" She asked as she looked at the picture.

Akali: "Dont ask me why."

Their conversation ended as Ahri went back to her phone and Akali was staring at the pictures.

Ahri: "You're staring at the picture." She said loudly. Akali snapped out from her thoughts

Akali: "Huh? I-I'm not!" She said stuttering. Ahri let out a giggle.

Ahri: "You have something on your mind."

Akali: "Am I?"

Ahri: "Uh-hu." She responded while nodding her head.

Akali was reluctant at first to tell what she had been thinking. She let out a sigh and decided to tell Ahri.

Akali: "I hope you dont get it wrong. You know, after he gave me the small gift, I couldn't help but felt very grateful to have someone that appreciates me as human. Not some those pervert guys...."

Ahri: "Ohhhh? Does Akali have a crush on (Y/n)?~" she teased.

Akali: "N-No! I.... don't?"

Ahri: "I get it. He treats you with kindness. But its still early, Akali. You must think about it first. I dont want you to experience what I had been going through before.." Akali knew what she meant.

Akali: "I know... That what makes me want to know him better. And there's another thing. It's just my speculation."

Ahri: "What is it?"

Akali: "(Y/n) might be Delta. And might be not." This earned a shock from Ahri when she said that.

Ahri: "What makes you say that?"

Akali: "Two Delta ran passed me when I was standing with the people watching the trainings. One of them stopped to talk with the policeman and he looked at us. But I saw his eyes. His eye colour are the same as (Y/n)..."

Ahri: "But remember this, Akali. Humans might have the same eye colour so it might be another person. And how did you know that their Delta?"

Akali: "They wear a patch." She then pulled out the patch from her pocket. "This one."

Ahri: "Akali. You didn't steal the patch from them, right?" She asked as she narrowed her eyes, earning a nudge from her.

Akali: "No! I'm not! Remember when we met (Y/n) and Michael after the concert? I found this on the floor after we finished the meet and greet session."

Ahri was trying to process the information that Akali had just said. She stared at the patch before looked at her.

Ahri: "Ah, algesseoyo. If he turns out as a Delta, then we just met one of the most secretive special unit on earth."

Akali: "I know, right?! It's really cool!"

Ahri: "But, his face doesn't fit."

Akali: "I was thinking the same too. But hey, dont judge the book by its cover." She said as she shrugged.

Ahri: "Yeah. I know. Alright, i'm going to bed now. See ya tomorrow."

Akali: "Yeah. Sleep well, Ahri." Ahri then stood out of the couch and went to her room. She then stopped and looked at her.

Ahri: "Akali."

Akali: "Yeah?"

Ahri: "Dont wait for too long. I might get him first~" she said in seductive tone and giggled.

Akali: "Huh? What are you-" she then realized what Ahri was trying to say. "AHRI YOU-" she turned around to see Ahri had vanished. "Stop teasing me Ahri!" She then plopped back to her couch and let out an annoyed sigh. She rubbed her temple and stared at the ceiling.

Akali: 'Do I really have a crush on him?'
