Eisuke POV
As me and Soryu followed Mr. Glands, I felt somebody staring at me. I looked behind me and saw Mrs. Glands looking at us with some look of worry. I turned to the front to follow Mr. Glands, which was his office.

As soon as we were in the office, he asked us a question with a serious face.

"So. Do you boys like my daughter?"

Me and Soryu glanced at each other and nodded. "Yes, sir."

Mr. Glands looked at both of us. "And does my daughter like one of you?"

"We don't know, sir."

Mr. Glands nodded. "Of course. It will be weird if you'd know. She never tells anybody her feelings, even to her parents. Now to the next question. What is your background?"

At that question, we became silent. "Well? I'm waiting for an answer." Mr. Glands said with a raise eyebrow.

I answered first. "Uh...Sir? Please do not be shocked. Um.. I am the son of the Ichinomya Group." But surprisingly, he didn't looked surprised. Not even shocked.

Then Soryu answered. "Sir. I am the son of a mobster. The Ice Dragons." Mr. Glands nodded. "You two passed the first test. I knew that you, Mr. Ichinomya, was the son of Akira. And I also knew you, Mr. Oh, was the son of the Ice Dragons. Well then let me introduce myself. I am the CEO of the Verna Group and Christina's father."

The Verna Group?!! They are the most richest and most powerful group. Even more than the Ichinomya Group. But how come Christina doesn't know it?

I looked at Soryu. He had a face of shock too. At least, I'm not the only one.

Mr. Glands, seeming to know what I was thinking, said,"Christina doesn't know it and she will not until she graduates high school. And I'm glad you two like my daughter. Because I asked both of your fathers if one of you two could marry my daughter. I asked your father, Mr. Ichinomya, because you are going to become the CEO of the Ichinomya Group, which will become of great responsibility. And you have that to take over the Verna Group. And you, Mr. Oh, because your are the heir to the Ice Dragons, which means you will have great leadership, to control your men and your enemies. And I'm living like this because I wanted a normal childhood for Christina because I didn't have a childhood because of me, being the heir to the CEO of the Verna Group. So do you understand what I'm saying?"

Me and Soryu slowly nodded. Mr. Glands nodded, satisfactorily. I lost all my composure. I lost my coolness. I just sat there.

"So, you two are going to have a test. Pass it and you get my daughter. Make my daughter fall for you. And if she already did, make her confess. That's the test. Any questions?"

"No, sir."

"Good you may go."

As we went to Christina's room, I kept glancing at Soryu. He had a serious face. Then he faced me saying," From now on we are going to be temporarily enemies for Christina. I won't go easy on you." He said with a smirk. I smirked back but as I went inside the room,I saw her collapsing before my eyes.

Christina!!!

I rushed over to her, as she fell into my arms, unconsciously.
