Kazumi's POV

A few days ago Brock, Misty and I meet a trainer called AJ. Who had won ninety-eight battles in a row. But I broke his record and foiled an other team rocket plan. They had tried to steal Electra, but stole AJ's sandshrew instead. With Storm and Electra's help I rescued sandshrew. Before making team rocket blast off again with AJ's help.

I also sent Rudy home to mum and Draco to Professor Oak with Storm. Draco was not getting the amount of swimming he needs to stay healthy. So I sent him to Professor Oak who had a few ponds, a lake and river. Storm went with Draco to continue training him. So now I only have Butterfree, Pidgeotto and Electra. Yeah metapod finally evolved into a Butterfree and he loves flying around. Pidgeotto has been teaching him flying moves and attacks while I train Electra.

Now we are trying to get through a dense forest, but are surrounded with fog. We decided to take a break as Brock prepares us something to eat. He is an amazing cook. Electra and I are sent to search for firewood. Eventually we heard voices and saw a light, so we walked over to it. I see a bunch of kids picking on an other one. "Hey leave him alone!" I shout running over with Electra.

"Are you ok?" I ask giving the boy a hand glaring at the others.

"This is just a private training session" one of the bullies tells me.

"It looks more like bullying to me" I state as Electra cheeks spark. "If the school you go to, turns out students like you. It must have low standards" I tell him as Misty appears.

"Yeah you better stop bullying him or you'll have to answer to us" she states.

"We don't fight" one states.

"Fighting is for cave men" an other says. They then leave and I turn to the kid. Brock appears saying something about 'tech students' as he whisks something.

"Tech students?" I ask as Electra jumps onto my shoulder.

"They go to a school for pokemon trainers" Misty states. "I have a flier, here" she adds unfolding it. Brock reads it out to us and Misty says "it's for rich millionaire kids."

"That pisses me off, the best way to enter the league is to train and go on a journey collecting badges" I state. The kid Joe takes us to the school so that I can meet the student in charge. Which is a girl named Giselle. Brock drooled over the picture while Misty and I went in search of Giselle with Electra.

The others soon catch up and John lead us to a computer lab. Misty then challenges Joe to a battle when he speaks badly about her gym. Starmi wins and Giselle appears saying it was at a higher level them Joe's grass pokemon. "Hey that's no fair, a true friend would never turn their back on an other" I state as she says the other kids would do that if Joe doesn't become stronger.

"Yeah you may be beautiful, but you remind me of a saying. Beauty is only skin deep" Misty states and I nod my head in agreement. Giselle then challenges Misty to a battle with a ground type pokemon.

"Don't underestimate that pokemon Misty, it's stronger then it looks" I tell her. The other pokemon sends Starmi out the window and we ran to the pool it lands in. "That was just cruel, battle me instead" I say glaring at Giselle as Misty holds Starmi close. "There is more to battling then just levels and I can prove it" I tell her. "I'm Kazumi Saturn from Pallet town and have two badges" I state.

"In other words you're a beginner" she giggles.

"If I'm such a beginner you won't mind battling with me, if you think you can win" I say smirking.

"I suppose you don't know much about pokemon from picking pikachu for your first one. They are hard to train it says so in any manual" she states.

"Really, then you won't mind facing Electra" I state as she steps forward cheeks sparking.

"Of course, cubone go" she says releasing a cubone.

"Electra iron tail" I say and she does so surprising Giselle. "Didn't know pokemon can learn other moves out of their type did you?" I ask her smirking.

"Cubone bone club" Giselle tells it annoyed.

"Dodge it Electra then use quick attack" I tell her and she dodges the attack before ramming into cubone knocking it out. "See type and level do not matter, it's the bond you have with your pokemon" I state as Electra jumps onto my shoulder. "By the way Electra was my second pokemon" I add as she returns cubone to it's pokeball.

"I never thought a pikachu could win without using a electric attack" Giselle says gently. "That was a once in a life time battle, thank you" she states.

"It just proves you can't learn everything about battling here. Also that the only way to true bond with your pokemon is to go on a journey. It's been two months since I started and I have two badges along with six pokemon. Each one has it's own personality and fighting style" I tell her.

Just then smoke starts to appear and team rocket does their stupid motto. Giselle and the other stupids blast team rocket away. "Very well done, couldn't have done it better myself" I tell them smiling. "I hope you all learnt an important lesson today" I add and they nod their heads. Joe had even decided to go home and start his own pokemon journey.

"So maybe we'll battle each other again some day" Giselle states as she walks over with Joe.

"I sure hope so" Misty and I state before saying our goodbyes. With Brock beside us and Electra on my shoulder we continued our journey. But before the school was out of sight we looked back one last time.
