Kazumi's POV

"So Brock what can you tell me about the Cerulean gym?" I ask him.

"Nothing, I'm still a gym leader you know. So it'd be wrong of me to tell you anything about another gym" he tells me.

"You're right, I shouldn't have asked" I tell him smiling. "Hurry up Misty I want to get to Cerulean city before night fall" I call back to her. "It's bad enough Gary is ahead of me" I grumble. Gary Oak is my main rival and he annoys me to no end.

"What are you going there for?" Misty asks.

"I'm a pokemon trainer Misty, I have to win more badges if I want to enter the Indigo Plateau" I tell her.

"Zumi you don't want pokemon from there, trust me" Misty states.

"Why not?" I ask her confused.

"Because they're all scary ghost pokemon" she tells me.

"Great, I've been wanting to catch a Haunter" I states smiling. "Come on Brock" I say and we continue down the path. But Misty blocks it telling us to wait.

"What about Vermillion city, it's right on the water and has a lot of Pokemon" she suggests. "It's much nicer the Cerulean city so lets get going" she tells us.

"Ok lets go" I say shrugging and she asks 'really'. "To Cerulean city" I announce. "I have to get more badges Brock and as there's a gym in Cerulean city" I state.

"Makes sense" he states as we walk away from Misty.

(Cerulean city) Kazumi's POV

"So this is Cerulean city, hey Brock?" I ask as we walk through it.

"Pretty nice place, isn't it?" he asks and I nod my head.

"That's weird Misty isn't behind us anymore" I state. "Have you seen her Storm, Electra?" I ask and they shake their heads.

"She really didn't want to come to Cerulean city, did she?" Brock asks.

"I guess so" I say shrugging. "But I do wonder why she hates this place so much" I states. We continue on our way with Storm and Electra on my shoulders. When we see a crowd and police car outside a machine shop. "I wonder what happened, stay close Electra Storm" I tell them and we head over.

"Excuse me, do you know what happened here?" I ask someone when we reached the front of the crowd.

"Some burglars broke into that store last night" he tells me.

"What do you know about burglars?' a voice asks and I turn to see Officer Jenny. "You two look very suspicious to me" she states.

"We just saw the crowd and came to see what was going on" Brock explains.

"The criminal always returns to the scene of the crime" she states.

"We aren't criminals, here's my id" I tell her showing her Dexlee and Brock shows one of his gym badges. Jenny apologized for being suspicious of us. "So what did the burglars steal?" I ask her.

"Just a massive vacuum and giant hose" she replies. Weird why would anyone what a giant hose and vacuum for? Brock and I walk away from the scene heading over to the gym. But Brock leaves to go to take care of a few things. As I enter the gym with Electra at my side and Storm on my shoulder I see a water show begin. I sit down to watch.

We then go exploring after the show looking for the gym leader. But see this place is like a giant aquarium. "Are we in the right place?" I ask Electra and Storm. Just then I heard three girls speaking and go to investigate. "Hi is this the pokemon gym?" I ask the girls from the performance earlier.

"It sure is" the blonde tells me.

"Great, can you tell me where the gym leader is?" I ask them.

"You're looking at them" the one with blue hair states and I look at them confused.

"The three of us are the gym leaders here" the blonde clarifies.

"But what was with the swimming before?" I ask.

"Our fans love to watch us perform" the blue haired one states. While the one with pink hair said it was a hobby. They then lead me to the battle area and I ask them for a gym battle. "We just got beaten three times in a row and our pokemon have yet to recover" the blue explains.

"This is the only one left" the pink haired one states releasing a Golden.

"Well I guess I can wait until your pokemon are better" I tell them smiling. Blonde one says she knows what I want and calls Seel clapping her hands.

"A cascade badge right, you can just take it" she tells me holding it out.

"I can't do that it's not right" I tell her shaking my head.

"A badge is a badge" she tells me and I look at my two pokemon.

"Hold it right there!" a voice shouts and I turn to see Misty. She jumps down beside us facing the other three. "If you don't what to battle him Daisy, I will" she tells the blonde.

"What? You know each other?" I ask Misty.

"I'm their fourth sister and also a Cerulean city gym leader" Misty states.

"There's three sisters and one runt" the pink haired one states. After some discussion it was decided I would battle Misty for my badge. I notice Storm and Electra are reluctant to battle her.

"You two can sit this one out if you want, I'll use the others" I assure them. They smile and go other to Misty's sisters. "What's the rules Misty?" I ask turning to her.

"Two against two" she states.

"Pidgeotto I choose you" I say releasing him. Misty brings out her staryu and I use Dexlee to get some information on it. "Use gust" I tell pidgeotto and Misty orders staryu to do a counter attack. "This is fun" I state as both pokemon keep dodging the others attack.

"Staryu water gun" Misty calls and staryu jumps into the water before shooting water at Pidgeotto.  It hits him, but he manages to stay in the air. Then dodges as staryu keeps shooting water at him.

"Okay use gust again" I tell pidgeotto. Staryu goes into the water and comes out strong again. "Pidgeotto wink attack" I call and Staryu jumps into the water dodging it. Then tackles Pidgeotto from under water. Pidgeotto falls into the water and I call him back. "Draco I choose you" I say releasing him.

Misty returns her staryu and brings out a starmi instead. I use Dexlee again and gives similar information as it did for staryu. "Draco ice beam attack" I state and it hits it's target freezing starmi. Leaving him unable to battle and Misty brings out staryu again. So I switch Pidgeotto back into the battle and he was dry again.

Just then the building begins to shake and team rocket appear with a vacuum along with a giant hose. "So you're the thieves, Storm, Electra and Pidgeotto stop them" I tell them. As team rocket starts to suck up the water. But then Meowth flips a switch shooting a giant water blast at us.

"We got to protect the pokemon" Misty states as I hold Storm close. Pidgeotto was flying above us safely as Meowth starts to suck up the water again.

"Where's Electra?!" I ask yelling and hear her distress call along with seel's. "Electra thunder bolt" I tell her and she does it. It blows up the machine getting rid of team rocket saving Seel and Electra. "You two are totally soaked" I tell Storm and Electra as I begin to dry them. Pidgeotto was back inside his pokeball.

"We never got to finish our match" Misty states.

"Yeah, guess we'll never know whose the better trainer" I tell her.

"Of course we do, it's me" Misty states and we laugh.

"We're giving this badge to you" Daisy states handing me the Cascade badge.

"But she didn't win" Misty states.

"Electra totally saved us all" Daisy tells us.  "Besides if she had used Electra from the start, there's no way your water pokemon could have won" Daisy states. "Take the badge Kazumi, you earned it" she tells me.

"Thanks I won't let you down" I tell her smiling. We go outside and start saying our goodbyes. Storm's on my shoulder and Electra is beside me. "Hey Brock, I got another badge!" I shout when I see him running over.

"Cool lets go" he states and starts leading the way. I hear Misty's sister saying their final goodbye before she joined us. Misty and I start to argue about who would have won our match as we walk.
