They have to be at least six lines and I accidentally went way overboard oOPS

RED

Passion, anger, pain, murder, and sin are all rolled up into one color

Red is the single color that can mean several things

It's the blood of a mother

As she gives new life

Or the passion of an American

With a waving flag; a prideful teen

Red is the blinding pain of someone

Who's lost their true love

The color of desire

Needing it even when you've had too much

Red is the color of sin

The color of someone wanting something

Without work; a bad way to live

Red is the color of her dress, swirling and draping around her

The color of your eyes, swollen with tears when she leaves

And she's your only cure

Red is the passion of young love

Of marriage and warmth and childish fun

Red is beauty, and red is grace

Red is the flames in your heart,

The blood rushing to your face

The phrase "white-hot" is a lie

White is cold, white is ice

White is empty and smells of peroxide

White is death and tastes of cyanide

White is the color of the cloth

Draped over her face before she is lowered into the ground

White is the color of those who are lost,

Who lie about being found

White is depression, white is loneliness

White is the color of her face

Before she is given amazing grace

Before it is covered

Before the coffin is lowered

White is unforgiving and sterile,

Shown by the hospital walls

Where several are told that the IVs and medicine were futile
