Karan went to her house.

"Kya hua?" He asked her in a stern voice

"Really Karan Tumhe nahi pata kya hua, pura plan bigar diya, kya zaroorat thi uss Preeta ke samne jaane ki" She screamed at him slamming her hand on the table.

"Woh gir rahi thi, usse kuch ho jata toh" He replies.

"Gir hi rahi thi, uska konsa koi accident ho raha tha!"

"Monisha dont you dare!" Karan shouts

"Karan, chillou mat, mein tumhari hi team me hoon" Monisha reminded him

"I know ki tum meri team mein ho lekin tum agar Preeta ke bare mein aisa bologi toh mein bhool jaunga ki hum saath kaam karte hai" he informed her angrily.

"Okay, lekin tumhe uske saamne nahi jaana chahiye tha, ab usse pata hai ki tum zinda ho" she calmed down seeing his anger

Karan realized what he had done.

"Abhi ke liye maaf kar rahi hoon, meine situation ko control kar diya hai" monisha told him with a sigh

"Kya kiya hai tumne?"karan asked.

Flashback

Monisha was stuck in traffic, she saw a crowd and looked at the people. She got shocked seeing Preeta in Karan's arms.

"Shit yeh Karan kya kar raha hai, ab Preeta ko pata chal jayega ki Karan......, nahi aisa nahi hone de sakti mein, nahi toh jo hoga, woh saab kuch khatam kar dega..."

A smile appears on her lips as she thinks of a plan. She turns the car around and starts driving to the opposite direction.

Monisha stands at the door of Luthra house.

"Kitna time ho gaya hai Luthra's se mile hue, chalo milte hai"

She rang the bell, Rakhi opened the door and got shocked seeing Monisha.

"Tum....tum yaha kya kar rahi ho" Rakhi asked in a somewhat trembling voice.

" *walking Inside* Kya aunty, itna bhi nahi pata ki ghar aai mehman ko andar bulate hai, darwaze pe jaane ko nahi kehte, aur waise bhi, aap hi kehti hai na ki mehman bhagwan hote hai'"

By the time she sat on the couch, everyone came down. (Including aroras)

"Waah andar aate hi sab niche aagaye, acha hai sab ko ek saat bata......nahi nahi warning de deti hoon"

Everyone gets shocked seeing Monisha,

"Monisha....tum...tum yaha kya kar rahe ho" Rishabh asked somewhat composing himself.

Everyone starts shooting questions at Monisha. 

"Mein yaha gaape ladane toh obviously nahi aai hoon, toh aap sab, mujhe bolne ka chance toh dijiye" 
They all become quiet, Monisha sighs while shaking her head.

"Aap sab toh jante hai ki 21st August ko kya hua tha (everyone controls their tears) agar koi bhul gaya ho toh uss din the Karan Luthra, star cricketer maara tha, lekin ek raaz ki baat batou, woh maara nahi hai, zinda hai"

Shock appears on everyone's faces as they try to register what Monisha said.

"Kya....kya matlab Karan bhai....zinda hai" Sameer asks recovering from shock.

"Matlab, uss din, jo aap sab ne dekha woh natak tha.....unfortunately mein aap sab ko puri sachayi nahi bata sakti, lekin haan, Preeta ab kuch der mein yaha aayegi aur kehgi ki ussne Karan ko dekha aur aap sab ko aise act karna hai jaise aap sab kissi Karan ko jaante hi nahi hai, jaise woh exist hi nahi karta (dangerously) agar aap sab ne bataya ki mein yaha aai thi toh woh toh maaregi hi, lekin aap saab bhi nahi bachenge"

She stands up and leaves. Rakhi falls on the sofa with a thud.

"Karan......Karan zinda hai...." she breaks down in front of everyone.

Luthra's and Aroras hardly recover from their shock before the bell rings, they know it's Preeta, they wipe their tears and Rishabh walks to the door

Flashback over.

Karan is shocked after hearing what Monisha did.

"Are...are you mad, Monisha tumne sab ko keh diya ki mein zinda hoon, aur aap sab act karo ki Mein exist hi nahi karta, kya zaroorat thi iss sab ki, agar Preeta waha jaa kar keh bhi deti ki usne mujhe dekha, toh saabko lagta ki woh sadme mein hai.....lekin tumne......"

"Aur koi option bhi nahi tha Karan, aur agar unho ne yakeen kar ke humare peeche private detective lajaya hota toh"

Preeta's side.

Preeta calls someone.

"Hey Preeta, kaisi ho, itne time baad call kiya, koi kaam tha?" the voice answers.

"Haan, actually bohot zaroori kaam hai"

"Kya hua, tum thik toh ho

"Mein thik hoon lekin tum abhi yaha aa sakte ho kya?"

"Haan main Arora house aata hoon"

"Nahi Arora house maat aana, tum xyz cafe mein millo, main 20 minutes mein aati hoon"

"Okay"

She cuts the call.

The bell rings and she answers the door to see Sarla and Shrishti.

"Preeta mujhe tumse bohut zaroori baat karni hai" Sarla says sternly.

"Kya..kya hua maa?" Preeta asks.

"Mein chahti hoon tu shadi kar le"

Karan had returned to his apartment, he sat on his bed with a teary face.

"Ab saab ko pata hai ki mein zinda hoon, kya zaroorat thi Monisha ko aisa kehne ki, kitna aasaan tha jab kisiko pata nahi tha lekin ab...."

He lets his tears fall as he thinks of how his family would be feeling after knowing that he's alive but can't meet hi:, how his Preeta would be feeling after seeing him after so long.

"Nahi, mein aise kissi ko suffer nahi karne doonga, ab mujhe jald se jald uski sachai pata karni hai, nahi toh bohut der ho jayegi"

"maa yeh aap kya keh rahi hai, mein shadi.....maa Karan ko gaye 6 mahine nahi hue hai aur aap...." Preeta says shocked at her mother's words.

"Yeh kya Karan Karan laga rakhi hai, hai kon yeh Karan"

"Maa....aap aise kaise keh sakti hai ki aap Karan ko nahi jaanti....."

"Baas Preeta, ab aur nahi, agar tune mere kehne pe shadi nahi ki, toh tera Mera koi rish....ta nahi"

"Maa yeh aap...."

"Ab faisla tera hai"

Sarla walks away being angry.

"Shrishti tu....."

"Di mein bhi nahi chahti ki Aap ki marzi ke binna aapki shadi ho, lekin mein kuch kar bhi nahi sakti"

"Lekin Shrishti agar meine kissi aur se shadi shadi karli toh Karan......"

"Di aap Karan Karan kyu keh rahi hai, kon hai Karan?"

Her phone rings interrupting their conversation, she picks it up.

Voice: Preeta kaha hai tu, kabse tera intezaar kar raha hoon"

"Mein abhi aati hoon"

She leaves quickly and reaches xzy cafe.

Karan is shown beating a guy in a abandoned factory

"Bol.....bata kaha hai woh"  Karan says with hate and anger in his voice.

"Nahi, nahi bataunga main"

"Teri toh...." Karan was about to punch him in his face but his phone interrupts him.

He picks it up not bothering to read the Id number.

"Kon hai"

"Karan, woh mil gaya"  Monisha's voice replies.

Shock, confusion anger and hate all appear on his face
"Kaha...kaha hai woh....." he asked but Monisha had already cut the call.

Karan looks at the guy he was beating, takes a gun out of his back pocket and shoots him, his screams echo in the factory as his breaths stop. 

Karan walks away from the body as his assistants pick the body up and hide it.

Preeta is shown walking into a cafe, she goes to a table and sits in front of Veer.

"finally agayi tum kitni der as wait kar raha tha" Veer tells Preeta

"sorry woh thodi der lag gayi"

"Lekin mujhe yaha kyu bulaya, koi problem hai kya"

"haan actually woh..........."
She goes on telling him everything that happened, once she finishes he looks at her shocked, concerned.

"Aur tum mujhe ab bata rahi ho?"

"hmm"

"Lekin tum mujhe kyu bata rahi ho?"

"Veer tumhe nahi pata"

"Nahi Preeta, kyu?"

"Veer tum ek police officer ho, meri help kar sakte ho"

"Preeta, mein aise off duty nahi help kar sakta, aur tumhe report karni hogi police station Mein lekin koi case hai nahi, jisne murder, or attempt to murder kiya tha, Mahira woh toh jail mein already hai"

"Lekin veer tum kuch toh kar sakte ho na, jaise tumhara paas contacts honge"

"Preeta, mein try karunga, mujhse jo hoga woh karunga"

Veers phone rings he picks it up.

"Haan bolo..........hmmm.........kaha?................theek hai, Preeta mujhe jaana hoga, koi gunde ka murder hua hai kissi abandoned factory mein, mein try karunga, lekin mein kuch keh nahi sakta, ab chalta hoon, bye"

"Theek hai, bye"

He leaves from there.

A few days later

Karan is shown beating someone in an godown. He pulls out his gun and points it at him. He shoots the person mercilessly.

"Finally mil gaye tum mujhe...." Karan doesn't bother turning around, he knows it's Preeta. He closes his eyes, listening to her voice, he knew this day would come, but he did what he had to, so maybe now they could live a normal life.

"Kyu Karan, kyu gaye tum mujhse itna door, i know ki yeh sab important tha lekin, tum mujhe, apni babydoll ko bhi nahi bata sakte the?" She tries to hide the desperation in her voice but fails.

He turns around and looks into her teary eyes.

"Preeta tumhe ache se pata hai ki meine yeh sab kyu kiya, agar nahi karta toh woh tumhe........." his eyes turn teary as he speaks.

  Kiddan lagna ae samandar
Je naa hoye kinaara

"Toh ho jata mujhe kuch, lekin yeh jo pal meine tumhare bina guzaare hai.....har ek pal mein maar rahi thi, isse toh acha hota ki mein sach mein maar hi jaa.........." she was interrupted by Karan, who had pressed his palm against her mouth.

"Please Preeta, please marne maarne ki baate maat karo"

She takes a step back removing his palm from her mouth.

"Nahi Karan, aaj sirf mein bolungi aur tum sunoge, uss din, jab tumne maarne ka natak kiya tha, tab woh natak tha, lekin tab, ussi pal, ussi samay mein main maargi thi, sirf tumhara uss waade ne zinda rakha mujhe, tumne yeh nahi socha ki tumhara uss natak ka kya assar (effect) hoga, mere pe, tumhare paarivaar pe, ek baar bhi yeh nahi socha ki tumhare jaane se sab kitna toot gayenge, kitna........." she breaks off crying, her hands cover her face as she cries.
Karan who was standing there with tears, slowly wraps his arms around her. Both of them cry in each other's embrace.

Naa koi teriyan baanh de vich
Sirr rakh soyega

"I'm sorry," Karan says after a while
"I know ki meine jo kiya woh galat tha, lekin mein kuch aur kar bhi nahi sakta tha, uss.....uss sherlyn ne mujhe dhamki, ki agar meine yeh natak nahi kiya toh woh tumhe aur sab ko...........lekin tumne jo kiya woh........you did an awesome job........you killed Sherlyn......"

Flashback

Preeta was tracking down Karan with the help of Veer.
She slowly came to know that Karan was tracking down Sherlyn.

"Preeta yeh dekho, yeh sab killings Karan ne ki hai"

"Kya, Veer Karan aisa nahi kar sakta"

"Karan me aisa hi kya hai, yeh dekho"

He shows her a video of Karan killing a man. Shock is shown on Preeta's face.

"Lekin Karan aisa....kyu?"

"Mujhe nahi pata lekin mein bhi usse tab tak arrest nahi karunga jab tak pata nahi lagta"

"Thank you so much Veer"

Veer and Preeta find out that Karan and Monisha are trying to track down Sherlyn and all the people they were killing were just pawns of Sherlyn's game. Sherlyn had became so obsessed with winning that she had killed of both her partners - Prithvi and Mahira.
She had forced Karan to do the play, Karan was wearing a bullet proof jacket, that's how he had survived. He had then found Monisha wanting revenge from Sherlyn and they became a team. Karan slowly tracked down all her partners aka pawns of her game.
Veer then tracked down Sherlyn using his police contacts. She was going to the police station in the police van (Preeta was following in her car) but played a trick.

She somehow got the gun of another police officer and pointed it at him. She demanded for the van to stop, and she went out. Sherlyn still had the gun in her hand. She started running away not noticing Preeta. Veer went to Preeta and gave her a gun.

"Yeh lo, aur khatam kar do iss kahani ko yahi" she looked at him shocked, then at the gun in her hand.
She pointed it towards Sherlyn, who was still running and shot. The bullet hit Sherlyn and she dropped dead.

Flashback over

Preeta breaks the hug, he cups her face.

"Mujhe maaf kar sakti ho?" He asks her softly

"Ek shart par, tum mujhe chodd kar nahi jaa sakte, kabhi bhi"

"kabhi nahi jaunga"

Karan and Preeta are shown outside Luthra house with entwined fingers.

They walk inside shocking everyone. Everyone crowds them and asks questions with teary eyes. They answer everyone's questions and tell everyone everything.
They were about to come in when Rakhi stops them. She goes and brings a pooja thali to do their gruh pravesh.

They walk inside after the rituals. They take everyone's blessings and everyone smiles at them. Monisha then comes from behind, she asks for forgiveness from everyone, and everyone happily forgives her.

Monisha receives a call and goes to attend it. She walks as she's talking on her phone.
Veer comes from the opposite direction, they bump into each other and he catches Monisha from her waist. They share a small and cute eyelock. The eye lock soon breaks, he helps her up.

"I'm sorry" they say together.

Monisha and Veer give each other a small awkward smile. Monisha starts walking away and blushes thinking about him. Veer stands there and blushes while rubbing his hand in his hair.

Preeta is shown looking at the moon outside the window. Karan sees her and backhugs her.

Tu khud nu layi sambhal

"Kya soch rahi ho?"

"Yahi ki kaise kuch pal sab kuch badal sakte hai"  she turns around and keeps her head on his chest.

"Lekin ab sab kuch theek haina, hum finally saath hai"

"Hmm finally."

He cups her face and slowly starts leaning towards her, she closes her eyes. Their lips finally meet pouring out passion. The soft kiss slowly transforms into a wild, passionate kiss, his hands reach onto her waist pulling her as close as he could, her hands find their way to the back of his head. They finally break panting. Preeta turns around and blushes and Karan removes her hair from her shoulder and starts leaving wet kisses there making her moan.
He starts kissing her neck, slowly but passionately.

He then picks her up gently and lies her down on the bed and comes over her they share an intense eye lock. Karan starts sucking Preeta's collarbone, while she slowly unbuttons his shirt and kisses his chest.
