"Y/n, have you seen my phone?" mina asked, looking under her seat. "No, have you left it in your locker?" The pink colored girl gasped.

"That's exactly where I left it! Can you come with me to get it before we leave to the pool?"

"Sure."

"Are you swimming?"

"Maybe..."

After the bell rang Y/n and Mina went to her locker to retrieve her phone. As she was putting her in her locker combination, Y/n started to stretch. Mina laughed. "What are you doing?"

"My back hurts so bad! It's super itchy too but I don't wanna make it worse."

"Ooh maybe you're allergic to the uniforms--I found it!" She shut her locker and smiled at Y/n. "Have you ever been swimming?" Y/n asked.

"Oh yeah lots of times, you?"

"No, never, is it hard?"

"Oh you'll get the hang of it easily!" (She wouldn't) Y/n and Mina walked to the locker rooms, she stopped scratching her back eventually as they walked and talked.

"Me and the girls were thinking about coming to your job to surprise you-- Ah man!" She said as she opened the door, all the girls had already left. "Oh well, lets hurry up and change!" Mina raced to her locker. Y/n started to unbutton her jacket as she walked over to her locker.

"Oh! Y/n! Me and Sero saw you and Kaminari last week! You two are so cute! That's so nice of him to walk you to work."

"Yeah." She muttered as she took her shirt off and began to look for her swimming uniform. "Oh hell." She whispered to herself. "Where are the uniforms?"

"Oh right, here you go." She tossed one to Y/n, who caught it and turned around. She heard Mina gasp and turned back around.

"What? Are you okay?" Mina stared at her with an awkward smile. "Is there something on me?" Y/n started to panic at the thought of a bug being in her hair.

"You don't--" She stopped herself. It wouldn't be right to say something but, she wasn't quite sure Y/n knew about it. "You said you were itchy?"

"Yeah I did, is there a rash?!" Mina was certain now she didn't know. She couldn't understand how, it looked so painful. She walked up to Y/n, she hadn't seen Mina so concerned and serious before.

"It's a rash isn't it? I knew I shouldn't have switched soaps." Y/n turned her back to Mina so she could further examine it.

"This doesn't look like a rash....it looks like...well I can't lie. It looks like someone beat you." Y/n furrowed her eyebrows.

"I haven't been in a fight though."

"No Y/n, it looks like...abuse. I'm serious. Are you okay at Home?" Y/n turned around , Mina put her hands on her shoulders as if to comfort her. Y/n furrowed her eyebrows.

"Yes, of course."

"You don't have to lie Y/n, if your parents are hurting you, you can talk to me!"

"I'm not lying, Mina I live alone with my four brothers and the oldest one is eleven. I'm not being hit at home."

"Then how'd you get these?"

"I don't know, what are they?"

"They're like...scratches. Like someone just used you as a scratching pad."

"Thanks for that image..." Y/n looked away, she felt her tongue sinking into her stomach, her stomach shrinking and her thoughts becoming too loud to voice. What could she say? She didn't recall any event happening that could've given her the scratches Mina described.

Y/n turned around and walked towards the mirror, she turned around, looked back at the mirror and witnessed horror itself. She swore the second the saw the scars on her back that was the moment she started feeling the severity of what happened to her, physically, and mentally.

"Oh..." Breathe. "My...." Breathe. "What..." Breathe.

Breathe, Y/n. breathe.

"It hurts so bad!"

It was odd really, Aizawa was at peace for the first time this week. Perhaps he should let the students go swimming more often. On another note, he had serious business to talk with Nezu about. He was heading there, right now. Dreading the talk but it had to be said.

"Aizawa!" His name was called from several feet away yet it felt as if someone was standing next to him and screaming in his ear. He stopped as Mina came sliding down the hallway--too fast for her own good, she stopped in front of him. "Y/n's having a panic attack in the locker room, I can't help her!" She said so fast she got caught in her own breath, she inhaled once and couldn't breathe after that, she ran after Aizawa who was already half way down the hall, he hadn't started running but quickly strolled. Anything to avoid talking to Nezu.

The locker door creaked open, Aizawa held his hand out to stop Mina from entering. The room was silent yet so filled with tension. It was clear Y/n didn't want to be heard yet nothing could stop her gasps and cries for help escaping her hands that covered her mouth. It felt as if her lungs forgot to  clock in for work today and her mind forgot that she was at school now and safer than she'd ever be. In the storm she was trapped in, she felt something reaching out to her, something warm enough to unfreeze the moment in time she was stuck in.

Her eyes flickered from the floor to just in front of her, a warm looking pair of hands that Aizawa stuck out after covering her in a smooth silky blanket. She took one of his hands, as if to test if he was real or not, then she looked up at him with her teary eyes. "You're not there anymore Y/n," he said to her quietly. "It's time to get back to the present." She held the blanket close to her and with his help, stood up. She was paralyzed for a moment, trying to process what happened, unable to avoid the inevitable; that she'd eventually just forget.

Katsuki had classes he hated as well, English, not that it was hard, he just simply disliked the simplicity of it. It was the only class he couldn't wait to get out of. He quickly shoved his folders and notebook into his backpack and threw it over his shoulder. He took one step out of the door and suddenly there was a tiny pink thing blocking the entrance.

"Bakugo!" he let out a huge loud sigh. "What do you want?!"

"Can I talk to you?"

"No."

He pushed her aside and continued walking and for some reason, that was an invitation to Mina to walk beside him and talk his ear off. "--It's just Y/n isn't usually like, this, I'm really worried about her." he hadn't heard her until that point--until he heard her name clearly the second time.

"What about her?"

"She had a panic attack in the locker room earlier, I couldn't even get through to her--she had these--scars on her back, they were new and scary and she didn't even know about them, when she found out--because I told her, she just started panicking."

"Why are you telling me?" he asked, sparing a glance at her.

"I figured it'd be better to tell her best friend. Midoriya always talks about how close you two are."

"Yeah well we're not talking right now. Go tell someone else."

"You're not worried? In the slightest?" He side-eyed her, she put her hand on his shoulder. he frowned and furrowed his eyebrows and shrugged her off.

"No. Get lost, you're not even in my class. Go tell that yellow idiot."

"That was my first thought actually, but I can't find him. Why don't you care?"

"None of your god damn business!" He snapped. "I made my point; I don't care so why are you still talking to me?!"

"You should care! What kind of person are you?! So God damn heartless that you can't even be bothered to give a shit about your best friend who needs you?!"

"She doesn't need anyone! She needs fucking help that none of you extras are good enough to provide! Why are you even trying?!"

"So you do care? What is it? You don't think you can help her?"

"Why can't you all just leave her alone."

Katsuki had given Y/n as much of anything as she needed, but there was only so much he could give when he was receiving very little in return. It was annoying him to great lengths to walk past her and spare a glance at her just to not get one back, it took him a while to realize that he wasn't the only person she was ignoring.

For the shortest moment, Y/n had bumped into Katsukis arm and instinctively looked up at him. During that brief moment, he had analyzed more in the fraction of a second than he has in this entire school year. She looked horrified--if not extremely anxious. Something had to have happened--it had to have. Something had to have driven her away like this, anything but Katsuki. It couldn't be his fault.

By the end of the school day, the next day after he bumped into her, Katsuki found himself extremely irritated, he wanted to punch someones face in, not anyone specifically though he could name a few. He was wearing a dirty scowl as he walked through the halls, his thoughts louder than anything else, drowning out his friends that were talking to him. He walked through the doors that led to the outside and was hit with a cool breeze. He inhaled and looked up to the sky that was flickering with lightning  and rumbled with thunder. It wasn't even possible to frown anymore. Then he looked ahead of him, then down at the floor when someone suddenly pushed past him.

"Hey watch--" he recognized that person anywhere. Of course it was Y/n. Where was she in a rush to now?

"Where are you going?" He said loudly as he continued walking, forgetting that they weren't talking. "Work." She said just loud enough for him to hear.

"Can we talk?" He hadn't expected her to hear him. He was mostly talking to himself, she stopped as he finally reached where she was. He was right beside her, staring at her, she looked away, her hair hiding her face as people passed by them.

"What happened earlier? Why do they keep talking about the locker rooms?"

"Nothing serious, if that's what you're wondering." She said bluntly.

"That's not what I asked was it? What happened."

"Nothing." Katsuki furrowed his eyebrows, something came over him, something that was only going to make things worse between them, if that was even possible. "You can't even look at me now?" He raised his voice.

"I don't have time for this--"

"Look at me!" He grabbed her face and forced her to look at him. He let out an inaudible gasp as his eyes widened and she smacked his hand away. "What's wrong with you?!" She hissed.

"Who did that?!" He shouted.

"None of your business! Leave me alone." She tried to walk away again but he wouldn't let her, people were starting to stare at the two as they passed by now.

"Why are you being such a god damn--Why?! What's going on with you?! Don't you think I deserve to at least know?!"

"No you don't! I'm not obligated to tell you anything! I don't have to even talk to you! We're not dating so leave me alone!"

Katsuki furrowed his eyebrows. "Well it's gonna take a lot more than that to make me fucking go away! Whatever, don't tell me then, but you're not gonna sit around and get beat and I'm not gonna sit around and watch! You don't want me beating the god damn idiot, so I'll go about it a different way. And I'll stop talking to you, but I'm gonna do something about this fucking dunce face!"

"This is none of your business! You don't know anything, that's not your place to do anything!"

"Maybe if you fucking told someone it wouldn't be this bad! You're surrounded by heroes for fucks sake! What on earth is so god damn bad that you can't tell anyone about?! Huh?!"

"i'm serious Katsuki! Stay out of this!"

"Don't tell me what to do."

"Please." She begged, he just frowned.

"If you don't tell me right now, I promise you nothing's going to stop me from putting him down."

Y/n looked away, then at him and furrowed her eyebrows as her eyes glossed over. "Then I guess nothing's gonna stop me from stopping you."
