party I

SHIP — Daniela x Manon

Written by — @Minaliter (Me!!)

It was supposed to be a simple night of fun—nothing too wild, just a party with some old friends and a few new faces. Manon had promised her viewers she'd be live streaming the whole evening. Her fans loved seeing the behind-the-scenes moments of her life, and a party was always a guaranteed hit.

Manon adjusted her camera on her phone, placing it at the edge of the kitchen counter where the most action was happening. Her chat was already alive with comments, people greeting her, commenting on the music, the decorations, and the buzz of energy in the air. The party was in full swing, and Manon felt the usual thrill of being surrounded by friends and her audience.

Daniela, though, wasn't feeling quite as lively. She'd arrived an hour ago, already a little tipsy, but now her tipsiness was turning into something a bit more... chaotic. She'd started with laughing a little too loudly at jokes that weren't funny, then started spilling her drink all over herself, and now she was eyeing Manon with a look that wasn't entirely innocent.

"Manon!" Daniela yelled over the music, weaving her way through the crowd and suddenly planting herself in front of the camera. "Hey, guys, you all seeing this?" She waved her arms dramatically, almost knocking over a cup of punch.

Manon laughed nervously, adjusting the stream. "Yeah, yeah, we're all seeing you, Dani. Keep it cool, okay?"

But Daniela wasn't listening. She was already too far gone, her words slurring together. "I'm fine," she giggled, "just having fun. Why are *you* so serious, huh? You need to loosen up a little, Manon... I think you need to—"

She leaned in close, her breath warm against Manon's neck. Manon stiffened, feeling the heat of Daniela's proximity.

The chat was flooded with "OMG," "What's going on?" and "This is wild!" Someone even typed, "Is this a prank?"

Daniela didn't seem to care about any of it. She grinned, her eyes sparkling with something reckless. "You're so cute, you know that?" she purred, her voice low. "All this... streaming stuff... it's cute. But you're way cuter, babe."

Manon swallowed, trying to keep her composure. She was used to people flirting with her in the chat, but this was real-life, and Daniela wasn't just any viewer—she was her friend, and now... she was drunk. Really drunk.

"Dani, you're—" Manon began, but the words died in her throat as Daniela leaned in closer, her lips hovering just a breath away.

The world around them felt like it was moving in slow motion. Manon's heart raced, a mixture of surprise and confusion flooding her chest. She wasn't sure how to react. She had always been comfortable with her boundaries, but this? This was unfamiliar territory.

And then, without thinking, Daniela pressed her lips to Manon's. It was quick, impulsive—one of those things that felt like it happened before they even realized it was happening.

The chat exploded. Messages scrolled past so fast that it was impossible to keep up. Some were full of disbelief, others were shouting encouragements, and a few were downright confused.

Manon froze. Her body was still, her mind a mess of thoughts that hadn't quite caught up with the situation. Daniela pulled back slightly, her drunken grin plastered on her face, her eyes a little too wide and gleaming with mischief.

"See?" Daniela laughed, oblivious to the tension hanging in the air. "That was fun. I knew you'd like it."

Manon blinked. She wasn't sure whether to laugh or be upset. Her fingers hovered over the screen, unsure if she should end the stream immediately or just let it run. But one thing was for sure—this wasn't something that could be erased. It was out there. The kiss. The moment. The chaos.

"Dani, we need to talk," Manon said softly, her voice still calm but tinged with concern.

Daniela giggled, her head lolling slightly to the side. "What? You're not mad, are you?"

Manon shook her head, taking a deep breath. "No... It's just—"

"Relax, it's fine," Daniela interrupted, her voice playful. "It's not like we haven't kissed before, right?"

Manon felt her pulse quicken again at the mention of it. They had kissed once, years ago, during a drunken night in high school, but that had been a simple peck—a fluke, nothing more. This, though... this was different. And this time, it was on camera. Live.

"What are we going to do about this?" Manon whispered, her mind racing.

Daniela leaned against her, drunkenly tapping her finger on Manon's shoulder. "What do you mean? We're having fun. Let's just let people think what they want. No big deal."

Manon hesitated, looking into Daniela's eyes—those mischievous, half-closed eyes. Something about the way she said it felt like she was dismissing it all too easily.

Meanwhile, the chat was still going crazy. Fans were speculating, making wild guesses about what this all meant. Some were shipping them as a couple, others were arguing it was just a drunken mistake. No one really knew what was going on, but they were all watching, eager for more.

"Manon, don't worry about it," Daniela said, sensing the hesitation in her voice. "We're friends, right? Nothing has to change."

But as the music blared and the night went on, Manon couldn't shake the feeling that everything *had* changed. It wasn't just the kiss. It wasn't just the viewers who had witnessed it. It was the fact that Daniela had kissed her—and she wasn't sure if that was something they could just brush off.

The party continued around them, people laughing, dancing, talking, but Manon couldn't help but wonder what would happen when the stream ended. Would they pretend it never happened? Would it become the elephant in the room every time they were together?

As the night wore on, the truth remained: *nothing* had gone according to plan. And somehow, the only thing Manon knew for sure was that this wasn't the end of the story—far from it.

The screen of her phone flashed with another set of comments, but Manon's focus was elsewhere, lost in the sea of emotions and uncertainty. Whatever came next, they were in it together now—on screen and off.
