TW /// Abuse and mentions of blood.

"Megan please!" Sophia wailed, her arms tied together and her eyes blindfolded. Her limbs trembled, shaking with immense fear. Her lips red and raw, from screaming. Scars scattered across her body, she was a weak soul.

Megan hovered over her with anger. "You think you could just cheat on me, and get away with it?" Megan screamed with anger. Her left hand bawled up in a fist, ready to strike. Her right hand held a metal bat, blood leaking at the tip of it.

Her right hand slowly rises up, bat in hand. In a swift motion she swung at Sophia, hitting her on her left arm.

Crack.

Sophia's body goes into shock from the blow. Her arm goes numb for a second, but slowly she starts to feel pain. The pain gradually moves from her elbow to her upper left shoulder. Soon, Sophia is screaming in pain. Her screams loud enough for the next door neighbor to hear.

"Be quiet or I'll hit the other one!" Megan screams, anxiety following through her body. She knows if Sophia keeps screaming she will alert her neighbors. She needs to find a cloth to cover her mouth, fast. Megan races up the staircase, leaving Sophia in the dark, cold, mysterious basement.

Megan rushes towards the kitchen and opens every drawer, frantically searching for a cloth. "What the fuck!" She yells with a hint of annoyance in her voice. Her eyes roll as a knocking sound could be heard.

Knock. "Hello!?" Knock Knock "Hello!? Megan!"

A familiar voice called out. Megan's body shook with fear. "She must've alerted the neighbors." Megan whispered to herself. "Just act like everything is normal Meg, you got this." Megan walked towards the front door, took a deep breath, and opened it.

"Megan! It's so good to see you!" Manon cheerfully told her. Manon walked up and hugged Megan. It was an awkward hug, but a hug nonetheless. "Your neighbor called me and said they heard screaming so I rushed over as soon as I could." Manon told Megan, sighing with relief after. Megan smiled nervously, and assured Manon nothing was happening.

"Also, have you seen Sophia?" Manon asked. You could hear the concern in her voice. Megan gulped, not knowing how to answer the question. "Are you okay Meg?" Manon awkwardly asked, noticing Megan's unusual body language. "Yeah, I'm totally fine. Nothing you, need to worry about." Megan tried to convince Manon, it didn't seem to be working.

A faint scream could be heard from the basement. Manon's eyebrows raised with suspicion. "What was that?" She asked nervously. Megan just laughed it off and said "I have a movie playing in my living room, you know, KnifeMan Season 6." Manon's facial expression did not change. "Okay.." Manon took two steps back. "Just call me if you need any help, okay." Megan nodded and waved at Manon. She closed the front door and rolled her eyes.

"Gosh, that was a close one. Thank god she's a little slow, otherwise I would had been caught." Megan walked towards the basement door, and opened it. Allowing light to enter the basement. Blood spattered the floor, some even stained the walls. She slowly walked down step-by-step, making sure Sophia heard her every move.

"Sophia." Megan taunted her. "Sophia, where are you?" She flicked the basements light on, revealing a young girl bawled up in the corner. "Trying to hide from me, aren't you?" Megan slowly stepped towards her, smiling as she did. Sophia began to scream out of fear. "Please leave me alone!!" She begged. Megan in fact, did not leave her alone. Megan grabbed a fist full of Sophia's hair, and pulled her out of the basements corner.

"After what you did, why would I?" Still holding onto her hair she dragged Sophia along the basements floor, using her like a mop. Sophia's pink night dress was soon colored dark red, stained with spots of brown and black. Her scalp on fire as Megan's grip tightened. Her eyes red from crying, her body practically begged for the torture to stop.

Sophia's screaming stopped. The crying stopped. Everything stopped. Her eyes closed and her breathing heavier and slower. Her body frozen, she could no longer move. Megan noticed this change and stopped in her tracks. She let go of Sophia's head. Her head hitting the cold basement floor. Thud "Sophia??" Megan called out, earning nothing in response. "Sophia!" She screamed again. No response.

"Sophia, don't leave me!" She screamed again. Her hands trembling as she checked her pulse. She was alive, but for how long?
