Personality
"Friendly enough, I s'pose; so long as you play nice. Otherwise, I'll remind ya of y'er manners real quick..."
Terry is a prickly kind of fellow, untrusting of strangers but is still somewhat cordial around them. He's pretty bitter when it comes to having been a part of the military due to the things he's had to do and experienced, but he'd still lay down his life for his country because he believes there's still good out there... its the only thing that he has left to hope for, otherwise what would have been the point in everything he's done? Saying that, Terry has no interest in returning to active duty and has instead taken up odd jobs here and there to help out the people he cares about in his home-grown county town, showing a much more kinder and affectionate side even though he hides it with how gruff and borderline tsundere he can be, saying its just a part of the job whenever he's thanked for helping out. He can be a bit reckless with his own life while reprimanding those he cares about for being reckless with theirs, as he believes he's expendable and that they shouldn't be like him because he "ain't no role model". He seems prone to getting himself into trouble, but always manages to get out of it one way or the other, often by getting a few more scars and scratches as a result. He doesn't like to show a whole lot of emotion and often lets his emotions build up until he let's himself go somewhere to let it all out, far away from the people he cares about so he doesn't risk hurting them. He's very respectful to his folks and makes a conscious effort not to swear because he doesn't want to disappoint his ma.

Backstory
"..."
Terry was born and raised in the Marzia District in the town of Marsgrace by two very loving and patriotic parents. Terry was a bit of a miracle baby, as his mother had a very low chance of actually getting pregnant, and so when they found out they were having Terry, his parents were overjoyed. He grew up as an only child but he quickly made friends with the other kids in his neighborhood, becoming a sort of defacto older brother type as he took played with, teased, and protected the other kids. While he had his trouble-making moments, he was pretty well loved by the community because of how he would always try to help others, having been raised by his parents to be a charitable person. During his school days he would spend most of his time focused on sports and the like, rarely applying himself academically because he didn't like doing all the homework, only passing classes because he would always ace the tests and project assignments. He would enlist in the military and would quickly become respected by his peers.

Long story short, he ended up getting caught in an explosion that damaged most of his body when he was trying to save his unit. Because he was an organ donor, the army decided to use him as an experiment, implementing mechanical and cybernetic parts to replace the damaged and lost ones he had lost. During this time, despite the massive amount of pain meds he was on, Terry would keep blacking out as his new body could simulate sensations of touch, and because his brain still remembers the pain of being blown up, he would experience phantom pains. It would take him some getting used to and a long time in therapy before he could even handle being what he was now... until he discovered that some of his blackouts were him being used as a weapon to hunt down threats before he was ready, the scientists that had worked on him had implanted a chip in his system that would allow whoever was in charge of him to just make him do whatever tasks they wanted.

Terry, understandably, was not happy about this revelation, and after hunting down the people responsible and forcing them to deactivate and remove the chip, he retired, threatening that if they ever tried to use him again that he would expose them for their crimes (among other things like breaking all their bones and making 'em wish they was dead first) before moving back home. He was nervous because he didn't know how everybody would react to his new body and would be surprised when everyone treated him as the Terry Chevalier they'd always known; he just happened to be a lot more shiny than he used to. He quickly settled back into civilian life... while also defending the town from demon attacks and the occasional assassin or agent sent after him to either put him down or try to recruit him for some special ops mission.

Powers/Abilities
"Ya think this body of mine is just for show?"
With his new body, Terry has what can only be described as superhuman strength, speed, agility, stamina and durability. He has several years as a soldier under his belt and is trained in various martial arts and CCQ, is an incredible marksman and tactician, and knows how to read people (something he does without realizing it half the time), among many other talents

Ever since he was a boy, Terry could control and manipulate various metals, including those that have already been fashioned into weapons, so he can control/redirect/stop metal projectiles like bullets so long as he can see them coming from a mile away and can cause vehicles of any kind to malfunction by warping the metal compartments. In regards to his new body, there is a compartment in his stomach that manufactures bullets and various compartments on different parts of his body that act as hiding spaces for different kinds of things (mostly to hold his bullets and chemical supplies to make gunpowder and stuff like that, but also the occasional flask or trinket he wants to keep with him).

Weapons
"Not sayin' this to be smart, but I am a weapon."
Yeah, what he said. His body is its own weapon... and he also carries revolvers and pistols on his person, as well as parts for other guns that he can assemble at a moment's notice if he wants to make an even "bigger impact"

Strengths
"I gotta keep some kinda mystery about me, don't I?"
Terry is resourceful, intelligent, and knows when to play the fool to get himself out of a situation or to help hide his secrets. When he stops playing the lone wolf he is a great leader and is more compassionate and loyal than he likes to let on. He isn't afraid of doing the right thing no matter how much trouble it might bring him. He knows exactly how to maintain his robotic body and has a large amount of knowledge in other fields like mechanics, bar-tending, plumbing, electrical wiring, programming, etc. Just stuff you wouldn't think he knows that seems to come intuitively to him (though if he's ever asked questions or to teach what he knows he's at a loss for words and will say things like 'well you see, that doo-hickey is attached to the whatchamacallit and helps the thingamajig to process the whatzit' kind of nonsensical explanation and get frustrated when the person he's talking to doesn't get it)

His physical strengths go without saying.

Weaknesses
"Now why would I tell ya any of that?"
Bro has got serious PTSD, is prone to having bouts of paranoia and has severe trust issues. He also has self-worth issues as well and has a hard time admitting when he needs help until he reaches his breaking point and just falls apart (figuratively, not literally... unless he starts trying to tear himself apart in a manic episode, though thankfully this rarely occurs). He can be a bit tricky to get along with as he'll sometimes test people on whether they're trustworthy or not. If he gets frustrated with something he'll try to figure out a way to fix/solve it on his own and won't ask anyone for help and can be really stubborn when he wants to be. He can be a bit insensitive, but it's mostly on accident than anything else... unless he's trying to be mean. And when he wants to be mean, he'll be mean.

Other
"Just spoiling all my secrets, ain't ya?"
He is a descendant of the monster hunting Chevalier clan from Odol, with their angelic powers revolving around metals and weapons as they are descended from the fallen angel Asael. Another quirk of his heritage is that he can automatically make any metal be blessed/holy without even knowing he was doing it. He also has another ability that he hasn't unlocked yet, but he can summon/pull out any weapon he wants and can tap into his angelic heritage to use the ability "Armory of Heaven" where he can summon hundreds to thousands of weapons through gates to obliterate those in his path, though this ability does come with its drawbacks and he probably won't be able to unlock it unless he triggers it somehow.

He has a working digestive system that allows him to eat and drink stuff like a normal person but can't use it if he's using his stomach cavity's capacity to be making bullets. His entire system save for his head and parts of his spinal cord and digestive system are synthetic. His teeth and eyes were replaced since they were damaged in the explosion.

"Ah, well ain't that all good to know."
"... Say, uh, how exactly am I able to talk to y'all like this? Will I even remember this kinda thing... ever happening? I don't even know what you look like or what I'm seein' right now. Or if I'm seeing anything at all."
Who's to say? I've known of those that have come back from death and seem to have an understanding or ability to glimpse into the "Other Side," but the degree that you're able to talk and understand what's happening on This Side, even in this moment, us something I haven't seen before outside of-"
"H-hey, where'd ya go? Are you still there?"
"- what? But I've been talking to you this whole ti- oh, ooh. This is fascinating."
That's all for now.
(There's no response)

*As a side effect of his death and being forcibly brought back, he can perceive things from outside of the normal day-to-day realm, but he can't control this new aspect (perception check kind of rules, I guess would be one way to put it? I don't know a lot of DnD stuff, so sorry if that's not the right use of it lol) but when around supernatural stuff, he'll get a tingle on the back of his neck that feels like his hair is standing on end*

~SCENARIOS~

(1)

You were born and raised in Marsgrace, a quaint little country town near the mountains with the usual farms and ranches you'd expect to see in the district embodying the wild west spirit. Since the town was fairly small, you knew just about everyone that lived in town and around it, including Terry Chevalier. You remember him as the mischievous but reliable guy that was always around to help before he ended up joining the military after graduating high school (you could have been friends, had a crush on him, been rivals, enemies, whatever you think works/is more fun with your oc, really any combination of these as well if you want lol). You ended up moving away from Marsgrace, wanting to build your own life (which could have been successful or unsuccessful, again whatever you'd like for your oc). After about ten years away you decided to come back to your hometown for a local festival, see what's changed and what's stayed the same, reconnect with friends and family, stuff like that. After about a week of being back home, you and some friends decided to visit one of the more popular bars called The Cowboys' Retreat. You and your friends managed to get seats at the bar section, talking and laughing about old times. "What can I do for ya ladies?" A male's voice asked, the sound catching your attention as you looked over to see an attractive man with his long white hair with black streaks up in a ponytail, dressed in casual bartending clothes. "The same as always for us, Terry. What do you want, (Y/N)?" One of your friends said, snapping you out of your thoughts. Terry glanced other at you, a look of recognition flashing through his eyes before his lips quirked up in his usual mischievous smirk. "Well well well, if it ain't (Y/N) (L/N)? Been a while since I've seen your mug around town. What have you been up to?" He asked as he started getting your friend's drinks going.

You took a deep breath to steady yourself as you looked at the address you had in your hand for the eighth time before looking back at the door in front of you. 'You can do this. The worst he could do is say no, right?' Went through your mind as you hesitantly knocked on the door. Why were you so nervous? Well, you were someone who ran a task force, taking on dangerous jobs to help good folks that other agencies or groups wouldn't even attempt, and you were looking to recruit a rather infamous figure: Terry Chevalier, ex-military cyborg that has made it clear that he doesn't want to work with anyone since he was "retired" and had no interest in getting involved in the politics of contracting and anything even remotely related to the government. The ways he's made it clear? Well, it really depended on how much the person asking ticked him off, the nicest way being he told them off and taught them a few new swear words while the worst outcome was someone... well, it wasn't helping with you thinking about the horror stories. You slowly raised your hand to knock again before you heard the sound of a gun cocking. You whirled around, but before you could do anything, you were looking at the barrel of a gun pointing right between your eyes. "Easy now, if you know what's good for ya, you'll keep your hands where I can see 'em." Terry spoke slowly, like he had all the time in the world and wasn't pointing a gun at you; a smirk on his lips that didn't reach the cold glare of his eyes. "Now, I'm only gonna ask you this once, and ya better not lie to me: what do you want with me?"

You..?
