Katara and Robin made it back to the thousand sunny with a few bags in hand. The former was pretty happy, not having been able to splurge back at home since most of the g-aangs money went to food.

"Hi chopper!! We're back!" She cheered, using her water bending to get on top of the boat without the rope ladder. Robin just jumped, like the other inhuman beings this crew has.

Said boy ran out of the med bay with a clipboard, "Teach me your healing!!" He shouted, almost tumbling across the boat with how excited he was.

Katara giggled, "Alright, let me just put this stuff down and we can start on the lawn." She said following robin to her new room. She was introduced to a quaint room with quite the feminine feel with all the perfumes stored nearby, "Woahhh it's so pretty." There were two desks and two beds but you can tell that the furniture has been moved to make way for a third, slightly smaller bed.

Robin put the items down on her own bed, "Franky is grabbing a mattress in town so he can add yours. He said he already built the frame downstairs so you should be ready to sleep here in no time."

"Wow, thank you." She smiled, honestly glad she gets to sleep in a bed now. Sleeping on the floor for so long really has been draining. She keeps dreaming of the earth kingdoms mattresses from back when they were esteemed guests.

"It's really no problem." She took the bags from Kataras hands and placing it on her bed to deal with later. They had to figure out the wardrobe situation when nami was present, after all.

They both went to the main deck, finding chopper with a notepad and some other tools. "Yay you're back!!"

"Yup. How would you like to start?"

"I want to see you heal again."

"Okay, do you have any injuries?" Katara asked sitting across from him, Robin joining too since she was also curious. Since neither of them jumped to say, Katara though my back to the southern water tribe, "I can demonstrate on a fish if you like. Cut it and heal it."

"Well, fish aren't really my target patient..." chopper noticed her curious look, "My dream is to find a cure to all diseases! I really do think that your new healing abilities can help me with that."

"Oh yeah, didn't someone say that everyone has goals here?"

Robin added, "Yes, my goal is to uncover the truth about the 100 year gap in our history."

"That sounds kinda of similar to the 100 years that the avatar vanished from the world. He ended up being frozen in a block of ice with appa."

"Your friend Aang was frozen?"

Chopper put a hoof on his chin, "That sounds like suspended animation. Do you know how he got in the ice?"

Katara shrugged, "He said there was a storm and he wanted to protect himself and appa. He didn't tell me the rest. Oh, but the way he got out was me cracking the ice with waterbending. It honestly was an accident. A good one though."

Notes were scribbled onto a piece of paper.

A moment passed and robin felt compelled to help the doctors dream. The crew has already helped her so much with hers. She's made much progress on the ponyglyph search. "Doctor." She called causing him to look up from his messy notes. "If you would be alright with it, I would like to be the one injured and healed. If you have a scalpel I can make a clean insidious and I believe Kataras healing will not leave a scar."

"That would be great actually. Thank you Robin."

Katara didn't exactly love the plan, "I was thinking of just grabbing a fish..."

"I can understand all other animals, so I don't really want an unwilling participant." Chopper mentioned tentatively.

"Oh, so are you vegetarian?" Katara asked, kind of excited to see another similarity to Aang in her new friends.

"Not exactly...? I need the nutrients after eating the human human fruit, so I just eat whatever sanji serves besides red meat. I just give that to luffy."  He said getting up to go grab the scalpel.

"Oh. Well good to know."

Chopper came back and sat next to robin, cleaning the area and then making an incision two inches in length and one inch deep on her arm, avoiding all large arteries.

Katara moved closer, using the water in her pouch to cover the wounded area. She took her time so that chopper could analyze more, "Just like the seas powerful currents, there is energy in the body. In classic water bending, it's all about redirection. The key to this bending is redirecting that energy to the source of the wound. The more force you put in that, the faster it will heal, but that only works to a certain extent." The water glowed a dim light blue through the process, taking around 10 seconds to completly heal, with no marks accounted for.

"Wow. That's ingenious."

"We can do it again and I'll put more energy into it. This was pretty slow."

"Sure." Chopper said, checking in with Robin who nodded. He took a fresh blade and made an incision across the previous one, also wanting to see if anything had scarred underneath the surface. As he made the cut, he found no difference in the skin or meat of her arm.

Katara moved the water back on her arm and it started glowing brightly for three seconds before it faded quickly, revealing no wound whatsoever.

"Amazing." Robin muttered.

"Agreed."

Katara smiled laughed, "Thanks. Is there anything else you wanted to see?"

Chopper thought for a moment before grabbing his clipboard once more, placing the old blade in a sharps container. "Is there any other healing techniques that you know of?"

"Yes, there's a more intensive type of healing where we submurge the patient in water and focus on restoring the whole body. This can be used for more than just surface wounds."

Chopper scribbled on his paper like a true doctor.

"There was also spirit water with special healing properties taken from the spirit oasis, but there are other places with high spiritual energy that you can get similar water from. Last time I used that, it was on Aang after Azula hit him with a lightning bolt when he was at his weakest." A sort of darkness appeared on her face thinking back to if.

More scribbles.

"What about the blood bending? Can that be used to heal? Perhaps preforming surgery?"

Katara bent the water back into her pouch, holding her clammy hands in her lap. "Ive never tried."

"Blood bending?" Chopper asked curiously.

Robin nodded, "Yes, but she said she can only do it in a full moon because that's when the sea and moon are at its strongest."

Chopper had an idea, "So your power comes from the sea?"

"Yes?"

Chopper smiled giddily and ran over to the med bay again, coming back with sea prism stone handcuffs wrapped in a cloth.

"This stone has the properties of the sea. So much so that it makes devil fruit users weak when they touch it. That's why it's in the cloth right now."

"What are you getting at?"

"I wanna see if it you touching it-or wearing it would resemble it being a night of a full moon."

"Oh..." She never believed in blood bending or liked at to any extent. It's so far only has been used to commit crime and acts of hate. But he seemed so excited to see it and that small, innocent face she figured that if he believed it could be used for good, it should be used. Maybe preforming it in this test would be a good start to testing out other, more positive, potentials that blood ending has.

"You don't have to if you don't want. I am asking for more than what we agreed upon, sorry."

"No, no it's fine. I have no problem with that. I just don't love this ability." Katara breathed in deeply to calm herself as Aang had once taught her. She reached forwards, grabbing the sea prism stone handcuffs. They were hefty but manageable. She lifted it behind her head to place it on her neck and shoulders since putting it on would dampen her movement. "But I'm willing to explore with you." She stood up, getting the feel of the new item, indeed feeling the energy it possessed.

Walking along the path Zoro, handling a wheelbarrow with food looked back at sanji, "Oi! Hurry up, cook! You said that was it, so let's go back. I wanna take a nap."

"Just focus on not getting lost, Marimo!" Sanji yelled back, putting the spice organizer back down.

Ussop, quite literally stopping and smelling the flowers consoled the blonde, "Don't worry, I got him in check." He said, motioning to the rope he had tied to the wheelbarrow. He would have tied it directly to the swordsman but said plant didn't like the idea. The compromise was wheelbarrow duty until they were back at the sunny.

As they walked back sanji couldn't help but wince as he remembered how he didn't ask Katara if she had any allergies. So he asked the others the next best thing, "What do you think Katara eats usually?"

Ussop shrugged, "Didn't she say she was from a water nation? Probably a bunch of fish."

Behind the mountain of things came a voice, "No, she's a nomad. She said she was always traveling in hopes to stop the war."

"No, the avatar is a nomad."

"Isn't a nomad people who don't live in one place?"

"Uhh... I guess?"

"Doesn't that make us all nomads?"

Sanji laughed, "Dumbass we live on the sunny no matter where we go. We're not nomads. Nomads don't have a nice roof over their head."

They made it to the docks and Zoro was the first to notice (with his observation haki of course) that something wasn't right on the sunny.

Robin was scared.

Zoro dropped the handles of the wheelbarrow and took out his sword, dashing towards the boat. Sanji had to catch all the supplies from the sudden shake and Ussop jogged on ahead, wondering what this was all about as well and soon saw Robin floating ominously in the air, a discomforted expression on her face.

Zoro, much quicker, leaped at Katara and prepared a swing of his sword. She was the one doing this to robin she was not to be trusted.

It all happened much faster than Robin or chopper could have imagined. There was no time to caution or tell zoro to stop his advances.

However Katara felt him coming. A source of water was hurdling at her. Of course she knew of it. Even without the sea prism, she could just feel it. Having placed one hand out in front of the attack, she haulted all of zoros movments with a flick of her hand. His immobilized body shook back slightly-fighting back from the forign force. Looking up with shocked, angry eyes, "What did you-"

Kataras mind caught up to her much later than her other sences. Her eyes widened at what she had done and both of the bodies fell to the floor. She didn't mean for it to end up like this. She didn't want to use blood-bending on anyone. "This was a bad idea." She muttered, bringing her hands back to herself before feeling the weight of the chains and of the intense stares on her.

She can practically hear her fears consuming her spirit, 'You were meant to do this.' 'This is your destiny.' 'Wherever there is life, there is water, and you can take it.'

Now much more scared than how Robin was before, she fumbled with the heavy chains wrapped on her shoulders, struggling to free herself from it. 'I don't like this. I don't like this.' Too frantic to notice chopper lifting it off for her, she ran to the edge of the boat the moment it left her shoulders. 'I'm just like Hana.' She cried lifting the water up to her feet as she jumped off the railing, running away from the people she hurt and running away from the memories of that fateful day.
