So I've noticed that in hate comments, people tend to use the word 'retarded' a lot.

A comment that I found on a recent Smosh video: 'Omg what happened to Smosh? This isn't Smosh anymore. This is Ian and Anthony, along with five other retards that screwed it all up.'

According to the dictionary on my mobile device, a retard is a mentally handicapped person. AKA: A person with an actual mental disorder. After doing some research, I've found that approximately 1 in 5 people have or will have a mental disorder. That's 20% of the population.

What's really screwed up here is the fact that you are using someone's mental disorder as an insult. And I doubt that those 20% find it nearly as funny as you seem to do.
