The Vulcan took the two girls and Horologium back to his cave, where Lucy watched in horror as Kasumi was tormented by the Vulcan. He had stolen her jacket, leaving her only in her baggy pants and baggy tank top, and she was shaking with cold, trying to get him off of her. Due to the high stress situation and being on her own with Lucy trapped in Horologium and Natsu who knew where, she couldn't even scream, and barely fought back, just shaking.

""How did I get myself into this mess, and what's with this giant monkey? Why is he so excited?" she asks tearfully." Horologium was still narrating for Lucy, though his eyes were covered as the monkey danced around her with Kasumi in his hand, excited to have two human women to play with! Vulcan were notorious for using human women when needing to mate.

Lucy whimpered as the monkey put his face up against the glass, then screamed when Horologium suddenly vanished! "Where'd you go, Horologium?! Don't you disappear on me!"

"Sorry, but my time is up." His voice rang out as he completely faded. "Take care."

"Give me an extension, please!" She begged, in tears as the monkey laughed at her, ready to grab her.

"Lucy!" Kasumi whispered in fear, squeezing her eyes shut.

"Hey, you big ape!" Lucy gasped as she saw a cloud of smoke, lead by Natsu! He was running so fast towards them! "You better drop my sister and tell me where Macao is! Tell me!" That was when he slipped on the ice, and went sliding across to the other side of the cave, the Vulcan completely unbothered, and Lucy's jaw dropping.

"Aah! Whoa. That wasn't cool. Why does he feel like he has to make an entrance all the time?"

"Spill it, monkey. Where is my friend?" Natsu demanded, completely upside down as the monkey danced around, Kasumi having to cover her mouth as he shook her up and down.

"Natsu, help!" She gagged as Lucy ran to stand by Natsu, knowing she'd only be in his way.

"You understand me, right? He's a human man. Now put Kasumi down and tell me where he is."

"Man?" The Vulcan set Kasumi down as he stopped to think about Natsu's words, Lucy running back to help her over to where she and Natsu stood.

"That's right." Natsu pointed a finger to him. "Where are you hiding him?"

"Don't you think you might be jumping to conclusions?" Lucy asked him fearfully, her arms wrapped around a rather nauseous but recovering Kasumi, still huddled in the blanket. But the Vulcan was waving at Natsu, pointing in a direction for him to follow him!

"Man!"

"Hey! I think he's gonna show me." Natsu said, and followed the monkey's point towards a little hole in the cave. "Macao!" He called out in the blizzard, only for the monkey to suddenly shove him out the window and send him down into a deep abyss! "Monkeyyyyyyyyyy!" Natsu screamed as he fell.

"Natsu!" Lucy screamed, her and Kasumi rushing over to the window, watching as he fell, his voice still echoing.

"No like man. Me like woman!" The monkey cheered, very pleased with himself getting rid of Natsu. But Lucy was nearly in tears.

"This is bad news. He can't survive out there. Natsu!" She turned to glare at the Vulcan, who was just repeating the word "woman" over and over again, and Lucy threw the blanket off. Now she was angry.

"All right, you pervy monkey. You're going down!" She pulled off one of her Gate keys, and held it in the air. "Open! Gate of the Golden Bull! Taurus!" The sound rang out again like before, but instead of Horologium, a large, muscular cow with a huge axe strapped on his back came flying out roaring.

"Cow?" The Vulcan was a little confused on where the cow, who was the same size as him, came from.

"How many of those things do you have, Lucy?" Kasumi whispered, watching with awe, leaning against the wall.

"I should warn you, monkey boy." Lucy told the Vulcan. "Taurus is the most powerful celestial spirit that I have a contract with."

"Oh, wow, Miss Lucy." Taurus was suddenly all googly eyed staring at Lucy! "I almost forgot what a nice figure you have. Why don't you come give me a smoo-ooch?" Lucy rubbed her forehead. She had forgotten a crucial detail about this particular spirit.

"Oh, yeah, and he's a big perv too." Just hearing those words made the Vulcan so much more angry.

"No touch my woman!" Taurus looked up at that, glaring at him.

"Your woman? Them's fighting words, you moo-nkey!"

"Get him!" Lucy called, and Taurus went in for the attack as the monkey went up into the air. "He's fast." Taurus held up his axe, ready for the attack, when Natsu appeared out of no where and kicked Taurus in the face! "Natsu!" Lucy screamed, furious as poor Taurus hit the ground, nearly completely knocked out by Natsu's kick!

"Looks like this is the end for me."

"Epic fail!" Lucy facepalmed.

"Hey, so how come there are more monsters now than when I left?"

"Natsu, you idiot!" Kasumi shouted, running over quickly.

"He's a friend, dummy! One of my spirits!"

"That guy?" Natsu looked to the Vulcan, and Lucy practically felt flames flying out of her own mouth.

"Not him! The bull!" Then she realized something. "Wait a minute. How were you able to survive out there?" Natsu smirked at her.

"Happy came to save me." He then looked up at the flying cat. "Thanks, little buddy."

"Aye." Lucy crossed her arms.

"So you can't handle other modes of transportation, but flying with Happy's okay?" Natsu's smile fell, and even Kasumi looked shocked.

"What kind of stupid question is that? Happy isn't a mode of transportation. He's my friend. I mean, duh!" Lucy looked confused, and turned to Kasumi, who just shrugged.

"He's got a point. Happy isn't a vehicle or anything like that. He's a flying cat."

"You're right. it was totally wrong of me to compare the two." Meanwhile the Vulcan hadn't recovered from Taurus's comment.

"My woman!"

"Natsu, look out!" Kasumi went to shove him out of the way of the Vulcan's fist that was coming down on top of him, but Natsu held one arm up to keep the Vulcan from crushing him, while holding out the other to push Kasumi out of the way as the ice underneath of him crumbled.

"You listen up." Natsu told the monkey, done with screwing around. "I consider everyone in the Fairy Tail Guild my friend." He threw a kick at the Vulcan, sending them both flying across either end of the room, Natsu blocking the attempted punch with his arms, glaring at the Vulcan. "Whether it's Gramps and Mira, or even those annoying jerks, Gray and Elfman." As the Vulcan came running at him, a magic circle appeared under Natsu as he prepared his own attack. "Happy, Kasumi, and Lucy too. They're all my friends." Lucy gasped as she watched him, Kasumi running back over to them, putting up a water barrier over her, Lucy, and Happy just in case. "Which is why..." He suddenly flew into the air, his foot on fire, sending the Vulcan flying across the room with one kick! "I'm not leaving without Macao!" The Vulcan hit the ceiling, landing on the ground hard and sending ice shards falling onto the ground. He let out a loud roar, sending the shards flying at them! Lucy yelped, but Natsu held out his arms. "Your ice attack has no effect on fire!" And Natsu used his heat to steam the ice shards.

Once the steam cleared, they saw that the Vulcan had gotten a hold of Taurus's battle axe! "That's not good." Natsu murmured, Lucy gasping.

"He got Taurus's axe."

"Please be careful, Miss Lucy." Taurus called weakly, still fairly weak from being hit by Natsu earlier.

"Lucy, get back!" Kasumi shouted as the Vulcan waved the axe around. Natsu tried to dodge, but ended up slipping on the ice! The Vulcan tried to bring the axe down on him, but Natsu grabbed it between his hands as Lucy went running towards Taurus, Natsu holding back the axe.

"Go back, Taurus!" Lucy begged, trying to shake him awake. "If you go back beyond the gate, your axe will disappear too!" But Taurus wasn't responding, and Natsu had started slowly melting the axe and eating the melted metal that dripped off! "Is he melting the blade with just his body heat?" Even Happy looked shocked.

"Uh-huh."

"Oh, yeah, now I got some fire in my belly!" Natsu told them, while chewing, before spitting the cooled metal at the Vulcan, who went flying back as Natsu surrounded him with fire and came at him with his fist! "Eat this! Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" And he punched the monkey so hard, the force blew part of the mountain off, and knocked the Vulcan out!

"He beat him!" Happy cried in celebration.

"Yeah, but wasn't this monkey supposed to tell us where your friend is?" Natsu let out a nervous chuckle.

"Oh, forgot about that." Kasumi glared at him.

"You idiot." She growled softly, crossing her arms. "You always have to go overboard."

"Well, uh, I don't think he's gonna do much talking." Lucy told them, when suddenly, the Vulcan burst into a bright light.

"What in the heck was that?" Natsu shouted as they uncovered their eyes from the blinding light, then he gasped when he saw what the Vulcan had turned into. "Macao?"

"Are you telling me that big perverted monkey was actually your friend this whole time?" Lucy shouted, a little furious remembering the creepy monkey that lay there before the older man with purple hair and a thin mustache lay now.

"Yeah, he must have been taken over by that Vulcan." Happy remarked, while Kasumi ran over to pull Macao off of the wall and lay him flat on the floor. 

"What do you mean taken over?" Lucy asked as Kasumi examined some of Macao's wounds. 

"It must have used a possession spell on him. You see, Vulcans survive by stealing people's bodies and taking them over. They're evil body snatchers."

"Natsu, help me!" Kasumi begged, and Natsu quickly lay out his blanket on the ice, while she took a few bandages from his backpack and bandaged around Macao's torso, arms, and chest.

"It looks like he put up a good fight before that Vulcan finally got to him, though." Happy added, while Kasumi pressed her hand to Macao's forehead, water shaping along the front of her hand.

"This should help. It's healing magic." She explained to Lucy. "I'm not very good at it, but it should hopefully at least warm him up a little." Natsu shook as he watched her work.

"Macao! Don't you die on me. Romeo's waiting for you. Open your eyes!" 

"Natsu?" They all jumped a little, except for Kasumi, as Macao slowly opened his eyes! "Kasumi?" 

"You're okay." Natsu gasped, Lucy laughing happily as Kasumi let out a sigh of relief, stopping her healing magic.

"Thank goodness." 

"I'm so pathetic." Macao lamented. "I defeated nineteen of those brutes. But the twentieth, that's the one that got me. I'm so angry with myself. I'm embarrassed to go home and face Romeo."

"Don't be like that." Natsu told him. "Come on, man. You beat nineteen monsters."

"No way." Lucy gasped. "There were twenty of those giant monkey things, and he took on the job by himself?" Meanwhile, Natsu grabbed Macao by the hand, Kasumi taking his other hand and the two of them helped the older man to a stand.

"Now let's go home." Natsu told him with a smile. "Your little boy's been waiting for you."

Lucy couldn't help but think how amazing the three wizards were. She couldn't believe she was able to work with them, and be a part of their Guild.
