Sachin went tensed after attending the phone call. Ruhana nudged him..

“kya hua? Koi problem hai? “ she asked.

“Bahut badi problem hain. Mujhe aaj hi nikalna hoga. “ he said.

She smiled.. “toh jaiye. Yahan kyun ruke hain. “ she said.

He glanced at her and then left. She smiled and went back playing with the kids.

Sachin's home

He entered in worriedly. He saw his father watching television.

“Mil aaye ruhana se? “ he asked,without looking at him.

“how do you know? “ he asked.

“arey mujhe nahi pata hoga toh kise pata hoga. Ab bata shadi karega ya nahi? “ neerav looked at sachin.

Sachin smiled…

“shadi toh karunga aur ruhana se hi, lekin abhi nahi. “ he said.

Neerav looked at him… “shadi tere wapas jaane se pehle hogi sachin. “ he said.

“mujhe kal hi jana hoga. Official call aaya hai. Kuch emergency hai. I have to rush papa. Sorry “ he said and went into his room.

Neerav was lost in deep thoughts. He picked up his mobile and called Mrinal,who invited them for dinner that day. Sachin packed his belongings and was sad about something. His father nudged him and they left for Ruhana's home.

Ruhana's home

Ruhana was working in the kitchen. Her mother seemed worried..

“Maa tension mat lo na. “ she said..

“Sachin ko bahar jana hai, na jaane kab aayega. Aur na jaane usne Haan kaha hai ya na. “ mrinal said.

Ruhana smiled… “uffo maa! Sachin ka kaam hi aisa hai toh wo kya karein. Aur kya hum unka intezar nahi kar sakte? “ she asked.

“kar sakte hai par… “ mrinal paused.

“par kya Maa? “ ruhana asked.

“agar uski zindagi mein koi aur ladki hui toh? Kahin wo.. “ but was cut by ruhana.

“Maa kuch zyada sochti ho. Sachin aisa kuch nahi karega. Okay! Please tension mat lo. “ she said.

Ruhana smiled…

She nodded negatively… “mujhe kya problem. Dulha dulhan raazi hai toh main kya kar sakti hoon. “ she said with a smile.

Ruhana smiled, at the same time, they heard the doorbell. Mrinal opened the door and welcomed Neerav and sachin in. They settled and Ruhana served them water.

They were talking casually, when Neerav said..

“Main chahta tha ki sachin aur ruhana ki shadi jaldi ho jaye, lekin sachin ko kal hi jana pad raha hai. “ he said.

Mrinal smiled…

“koi baat nahi Neerav ji. Koi jaldi nahi hai. Tab tak dono ek dusre ko jaan bhi lenge. “ she said.

“ye bhi hai. Agar aisi koi problem nahi hoti, toh main jaldi hi ruhana ko apni bahu bana k le jata. “ he said.

The other three smiled at his comment.

“waise beta, kitne din ka kaam hai? “ mrinal asked sachin.

“aap jaanti hai na hamara kaam. Meeting hai, koshish karunga jaldi aa jaun. “ he said while looking at Ruhana.

Mrinal nodded… “kaam zyada zaruri hai. Shadi can wait. “ she said.

Sachin smiled. Soon, they sat for dinner,chitchatting over random issues. After dinner, Ruhana served them coffee. Mrinal and Neerav were talking casually. Sachin followed her into the kitchen and saw her working.

“aapko kuch chahiye? “ she asked without turning towards him.

“ek sawal puchna tha? “ he said.

She turned to him raising her eyebrows. He smiled…

“aaj toh tumne baat hi nahi ki. Mera phone bhi nahi baja. “ he said.

She smiled at his statement…

“baatein karne ke liye zindagi baaki hai, lekin jo kaam aapko karna hai wo zyada zaruri hai. Jaiye aur jaldi wapas aaiye. “ she said.

He looked at her, she smiled and turned to move, but he caught her hand… she turned to him, looked at him in his eyes…

“Main aapka intezar karungi. “ she said, freed her hand and moved out of the kitchen. Sachin smiled, ruffled his hairs and followed her.
He found her giving water to her father and asked her for the same. He drank some water and neerav asked him to leave as he had to leave early morning. He gave the glass back to ruhana and turned to move. They had met only twice, yet a connection was established between them. He turned once to have a look on her, and found her smiling and greeting him. He smiled at her and left from there while she rushed into her room, maybe praying for him.
