Sachin seemed worried after attending the call. Ruhana looked at him..

"Kya hua? Aap itne pareshan kyun ho gaye? " she asked.

He didn't reply, instead was busy thinking. She nudged him by holding his hand. He looked at him...

"Aap kuch batayenge?"she asked.

" Mujhe abhi jana hoga,Ruhana. Higher officials ki meeting hain. Kya hum baad mein mil sakte hain?" he asked.

Ruhana smiled... "Jaiye... Humare milne se zyada zaroori desh ki suraksha hai. " she said.

Sachin smiled... "chalta hoon. " he said and turned to move out of the room.

"I'll be waiting.. " she said.

He turned, smiled at her and left the room. Ruhana smiled to herself.

Hall room...

Neerav and Mrinal were talking. Sachin came out hurriedly. He looked at his father...

"Dad... chaliye. Mujhe abhi ek urgent meeting mein jana hai. " he said.

"hua kya beta? " he asked.

"dad! Meeting hai. Jaana hoga. Aap chaliye. " he said.

Neerav sighed and left with Sachin bidding bye to the family.

Ruhana's room

Ruhana was sitting in her room and seemed lost. Her mother came to her...

"Kya Hua? Kya soch rahi Hai? " she asked.

Ruhana nodded her head negatively..."kuch nahi Maa. " she said.

Her mother looked at her... "Main Teri Maa hoon. Mujhe Pata hai tu kab Kya sochti hai. " she said.

Ruhana smiled and kept her head in her lap. Mrinal started smearing her head...

"Tujhe Pata Hai Neeravji aur tere papa azeez dost Hua karte they. Tere papa ke guzar jaane ke baad, Neeravji ne meri bahut madad ki. " she said.

"Wo Sach mein bahut ache hain Maa. " she said.

"Jaanti hoon. Sachin ke baare mein kya khayal Hai?" she asked.

Ruhana stood up and looked at her mother...

"He's a nice person, Maa. " she said.
Mrinal smiled... "jaanti hoon Acha ladka hain wo. Isliye usey tere liye chuna hain. " she said.

"Maa, jise khud se pehle dusron ki chinta hi, wo acha hi hoga na. " she said.

Mrinal smiled... "shadi mein assumptions nahi chalte beta. Tujhe usey jaanna hoga. Aur wo itni jaldi mein kyun Tha? " she asked.

Ruhana smiled... "Maa, he holds the designation of Major. Aapko Pata Hai na Kitna kaam hota Hai. Unko koi call aaya aur wo chale Gaye. " she said.

Mrinal smiled.... "Tujhse baat kiye Bina? " she asked.

"Maa!! Tumhe kya ho Gaya? Wo kahin nahi ja rahe hain. He promised to meet me. " she said.

Mrinal raised her eyebrows.. "toh tu milegi usse? Jab Maine kaha Tha tab toh kisi ko shadi nahi karni thi. " her mother teased her.

Ruhana hit playfully on her mother's arm..

"kya mumma! Ab aap bhi sataogi? " she said.

Mrinal nodded in a yes, while Ruhana stared at her and then they broke into the laughter at the stupid thing they were discussing.

Sachin's Home

Neerav was sitting in the hall watching television. Sachin came in and sat near his father.

"kya Hua barkhurdar? " Neerav asked while keeping his hand on Sachin's shoulder.

He looked at him.. "Dad! I think I need to join my duty soon. " he said.

"Lekin beta, tu Abhi toh aaya Hai. Teri shadi ki baat bhi adhuri reh gayi " he said.

"Dad, Jana zaruri Tha. Higher officials ka kehna Hai ki dushman hum par kabhi bhi hamla Kar sakti Hai. Toh Hume taiyar rehna hoga na. " he said.

Neerav tended to think something...

"sahi keh rahe ho beta. I agree. Main Mrinalji se baat karta hoon. I want you married before you go. " he said.

"But dad!! " he said but was cut by Neerav.

"Ruhana se milna Hai toh mil sakte ho. Par shadi toh hogi hi. " he said.

Sachin smiled... "As you wish Dad. But let me meet her first. " he said and moved to his room.

Evening..

It was evening, and Ruhana was in a park near to her home. She was playing with some kids. They were playing with a ball. One of the kid threw the ball and the ball halted near Ruhana's leg. The kid came running to her..

"Didi... Ball dedo na. " he said.

Ruhana nodded in a no... "Yeh toh Meri ball Hai. " she said.

"Nahi na Didi.... Dedo na Ball. " they said.

"hum Pakka dhyan se khelenge. " the kids shouted.

Ruhana smiled... "Acha toh lelo. " she ran with the ball in her hand.

The kids ran behind her. She dropped the ball in other direction... "common.. Bring the ball. " she looked at the kids. The kids chuckled. She laughed, unknown that someone was watching her.

The children rushed to her as she caught the ball again...

"Didi ball dedona!! " they chuckled gathering around her.

"Bachchon ko Ball dedijiye. Aap humse baat Kar lijiye. " a voice emerged.

She looked on and it was Sachin. One of the kid looked at him...

"Aap kaun ho? " he asked.

Sachin smiled... "main aapki didi ka dost hoon. " he replied.

"toh aapko Pata hona chahiye ki yeh humara playing time Hai. Didi humare sath khelegi. " a little girl replied holding Ruhana's hand.

Sachin was confused. Ruhana laughed.. She turned to the kids...

"Aap log khelo. Main aati hoon. Koi park se Bahar nahi jayega. Samjhe? " she asked.

The kids nodded. She smiled and turned to Sachin. She moved to him...

"Sorry for whatever the kids said. Yahan Koi nahi Aata. In Bachchon ko meri aur mujhe inki aadat ho gayi Hai. Isliye kuch bhi bol dete Hai " she said.

He smiled... "Koi baat nahi. I understand. "

"lekin aap Yahan kaise? " she asked.

"Guzar raha Tha yahanse, aapko dekha toh socha mil loon. " he said.

Ruhana smiled... "acha Kiya. " she said.

They were walking in silence, when suddenly Ruhana clutched his hand...

"Gole wala. Chaliye Gola khate gain. " she dragged him towards the stall and ordered for two. He smiled at her kiddishness and made the payment. They were relishing the smoothie and Ruhana was telling something about her childhood., when his phone rang again. Ruhana made a face..

"aap is phone ko silent pe kyun nahi rakhte?" she said

Sachin smiled and took The call. He got tensed on hearing the conversation and so did Ruhana.
