A quiet cry could be heard from between the vending machines. It sounded sad making Gakushuu sad as he followed the cries to the source. Surprisingly, the cries came from the new exchange student who had tied with him in the recent exams.

His breathing quickened as he slowly stepped closer to the kid. Eyes wide with worry and concern despite not even knowing the boy.

"Hey.. why are you crying?"

Gakushuu asked softly and sat in front of him making the boy quickly cover his face and growl protectively

"None o-of your business! So what? I can't cry now?!"

The boy shouted making him confused as the boy cried harder. Gakushuu didn't know what to do but he remembered one of his teachers saying hugs make things better. (Mind you all, he was still innocent and nice at this age-) Gakushuu lunged forward and hugged the boy making the other struggle against him.

"L-let go!"

The boy shouts making Gakushuu tighten his hug. Soon, The boy slowly relaxed and cried into Gakushuu's shoulder while hugging the other back tightly. They stayed in that position until the boy's cries turned into small whimpers. 

TIMESKIP

After that day, the boy had introduced himself as 'Karma' and had became close friends with Gakushuu. Though, Gakushuu was still curious about one thing. Why was Karma even crying that day? It was still a mystery for him.

Meanwhile, Karma was being pushed into a room filled with darkness after being strike with a pair of scissors to his head. The door was slammed shut and locked while laughter could be heard outside the room. Karma look around in fear as he immediately runs to the door and pounds on it. 

"PLEASE LET KARMY OUT! KARMY'S SCARED!" He screamed making the leader of the bullies kick the door extremely hard that Karma was pushed onto the ground by the strong force. Though with little scratches on his arm and the cut on his forehead that was still bleeding, Karma went back to the door and pound on it, screaming for help. The bullies continued laughing, some even taunting him.

"PFFT- MAYBE KARMY WILL FINALLY STOP COMING TO THIS SCHOOL AND GETTING ALL THE STICKERS!"

"YEA! AND THEN THE TEACHER WON'T SAY WE'RE BAD!"

The bullies shouted one by one before they ran off to play in the playground. Leaving Karma in the dark room alone. After some time, Karma stopped pounding on the door but instead tried to see anything that could help him escape the room. He felt lightheaded due to the blood he had lost but refused to sit down. He look around the dark room, tried walking in the dark, tripped a few times and stumbled too but soon he saw a vent. The vent would usually lead him to the playground or the bathroom. Karma inhaled softly and slowly pulled on the vent cover, putting it aside as he crawled into it. 

After some time crawling in the tunnels of the vent, he finally found one of the exits. Karma cheered before wincing in pain as he crawled out the vent and tried to stand only to fall back down. Luckily, Gakushuu had been playing around the area. The other quickly getting up to call for help while running and kneeling next to Karma. 

"KARMA! WAKE UP!" He shouted just as Karma closed his eyes. One of the teachers heard his cries and immediately went to check it out. The teacher walked quite slowly, thinking it was the normal issue, a toy lost or some things missing. When She finally got to the two boys, she paused and stared at Karma who was still bleeding before she screamed. Alerting the other teachers in the area, one of them had called the ambulance while the other contacted Karma's parents.

The little group of bullies were surprisingly worried too, despite it being their doing. They felt guilty and tried to help Karma, Obviously regretting their actions. Gakushuu cried and hissed ant anyone who dared to come close to Karma, not wanting Karma to be hurt again but he reluctantly let go once the paramedics arrived.

The teachers were all frantic as some called the other kids parents. Everyone Were worried and scared as they waited for feedback from the doctors.
