Dwarka

The entire kingdom was decorated that it could put Amravati into shame. Delegates from every corner of Aryavart came to attend the Vijaya Mahotsav. The kings who supported the Asurs were arrested. Common people were happy as most of the kingdoms readily agreed to abolish the strict Varnashram. Now anyone can do anything and follow their own passions. Those who were reluctant at first but agreed at last as they did not want to anger Vasusen and Avantika.

Before the Vijya Mahotsav, now only one thing left. Punishment of Shakuni and Aswatthama. Aswatthama returned stealthily to Dwarka and tried to kill Duryodhana but Krishna caught him and cursed him to turned into a hideous, disfigured person with diseases and remain immortal so that everyone could know what will happen if a Brahmin used his knowledge for evil purposes. Both Drona and Kripacharya decided to take Sannyas. Bheesm also wanted to go for penance but Krishna stopped him, 'Gangaputra, you cannot leave before completing your responsibilities. You took care of Kuruvansh but what about the woman you had insulted. Today you have to take Shikhandini's responsibility. I hope by now you understood that there is nothing more important than humanity.'

Devi Ganga also appeared, 'Putra, by your oath, you not only insulted Devi Amba but also ashamed me and gave immense pain to your father. His soul is never in peace. Today by marrying her you can not only redeem yourself but also can come back to swarg as one of the Ashtavasus.'

Bheesm agreed, both he and Shikahndini married to each other on Dwarka. Then Both of them prayed in front of the Shivling and left their mortal body and went back to Swarg. 

Now it was the time to punish Shakuni. He was scared and started to cry when he was brought in front of the court. Then Karna said, 'Gandharraj, I know hat happened to you and your family was not right, but for your revenge, you made your innocent nephews your pawn. You have destroyed their childhood by instigating greeds and malice in them. Just for your greed to become most powerful, you have used Bhyankarasur. But you forgot that in this world Good always win over Bad and today by punishing you, I will make an example that in the future Adharmis will think twice before trying to kill innocents or  molest a woman.'

Saying he touched Shakuni's head and he screamed. Karna with his power had made him blind. Then Avantika came forward and said, 'you used these hands to roll the dice and destroyed Draupadi's life. So now on, you cannot use this hands, I am cursing you,  Both of your hands will be paralyzed, you cannot use them to do anything. You cannot stay under a shelter as whenever you try to go under a shelter, your skin will start to rot. You have great faith in your silver tongue, so from now on you will be mute. You have to stay in front of the temple and every man who wants to go inside should kick you. Thus you will live up to four decades and only after that you will die.'

Shakuni screamed but no sound came out. Krishna ordered the guards to drag him outside. Then Karna said, 'Dwarkadhish, our work is done. Now we will take your leave.'

Krishna, 'No dear, you have to decide who will be the ruler of Kuruvansh.'

Kunti and Pandavas were hopeful that Karna would announce Yudistir's name but Karna smiled, 'Krishna, both Dury and Yudhistir showed that both of them are not capable kings. In fact Yudistir is far worse than Duryodhana. Atleast Duryodhana as a ruler remain  faithful to his subjects but Yudhistir just to win a game stake his kingdom. Infact he and other Pandvs did not learn properly even after the punishment. I know they are tensed bout their mother but they forgot that if we actually surrendered then it will destroy the entire creation. A king shall move away his emotions before deciding any action but the Pandavas had failed to do so. Just to save their family, they were again agreed to destroy everything. Krishan you are their friend but they did not have any faith on you as well. But I don't want to create any more problems by depriving them as it will bring us to the square one from all of these started. So I have decided, Kumar Lakshman and Kumar Prativindhya will be the future king of Hastinapur and Indraprastha. Dwarka rulers like king Vasudev, Mahabali Balram and Dwarkadhish Shri Krishna will be their tutors and if any of the princes will create problems for the others and show any lack in their service for the subjects, their rights will be terminated and will be punished by Shri Krishna himself. As the princes are still young so their fathers Dyruodhana and Yudhistir are going to be the ruler for now but they have to follow the rules decided by Mahabali Balram and Shri Krishna.'

Avantika, 'Also we declare that Asur look is going to be ruled by Hidimba putra Ghatotkach and he will be given equal status and respect by the Kuru royals.'

Hidimba was immensely happy for her. She or her son had never got the deserved respect but today Vasusen and Avantika gave her and her son's rights.

The Pandavas were sad, Bheem wanted to protest but Avantika glared at him and seeing that Kunit asked him not to steer any confrontation as they were two most powerful God and Gooddess. Alos the other kingdoms like Matsya, Manipur, Kashi, Madra also supported Karna and Avni's decision as they were also tired of Yudhistir's Dharmgyan. 

Now it was time for departure. The Pandavas came to take blessings and they did it without showing any interest. Karna just smiled and said to Yudhistir, 'Be a good ruler.'

Then come Duryodhana, he was sad as his friend is going to leave him. He when came to take his blessings started crying. Karna stood up from his throne and said, 'Duryodhana, why are you sad?'

Dury, 'I d..ddon't wa..want you to leave. I will be completely alone without you.'

Karna just smiled and said, 'Who said that you are going to be separated from me?' Then he put his hand on Dury's head and said, 'Be a good ruler. Your name will always be immortal. Whenever people are going to worship us, they will remember you with respect as well. And during your last time, I myself will come to take you my friend as you are the part of me.'

Mahabali Balram, 'Not that I am complaining but Dev Vasusen why did you give this boon to Duryodhana not Yudhistir.'

Karna, 'Mahabali, I know my friend did anything wrong but he redeemed himself. He was truly ashamed for his deeds. I know some sins are too great to forgive but if the sinner truly repented then at least in his afterlife he will get forgiveness. Dury did wrong with Draupadi but he is faithful to his family, his subjects, his kingdom, his friends. So that is why I gave him this boon. On the other hand whatever Pandavas did they all did it for political purposes. They just wanted to raise their fames, they did not think of their family, their friends, their subjects. Even today they just want to think of themselves nothing else. That is why even when their own sons were going to be the kings, do not give them any satisfaction. That is why gave this boon to Duryodhana, not the Pandavas.'

Avantika, 'And Duryodhana always believed in equality and only those who never discriminated among anyone deserved our blessings.'

Then they went to their foster families. Karna and Avni bowed in front of Adhirath, Radha, Sarthak and Renuka asking for their blessings. Adhirath said, 'Please how could a God and Goddess take blessings from us mere mortals. Please don't do this Dev, Devi. It will make us sinners.'

Karna, 'Pitashri, your blessings are our rights. Even if we are Gods we still need blessings from our parents. You gave us families, you taught us the meaning of unity and love. How could we not get blessings from you?'

Then both of them bowed touched their parents' feet. All four elders were overwhelmed. Karna and Avni assured them that after a few years when all their mortal duties would be done, they could reunite again in Suryalok. Then Karna and Avni gave blessings to their foster siblings, 'We are blessing you that your kids will be great rulers of prosperous kingdoms. They will be just and legendary rulers and even after Yugs people will recall them and give example of them.'

Everyone cheered, 'Hail to Dev Vasusen and Devi Avantika'.
Karna hugged his mitra and other Kauravas who are alive. Then he said, 'Mata Gandhari I know you blindfolded yourself to understand your husband's pain. But mata instead of it, if you show him the path of truth and Dharma, then it will the greatest duty you can perform as a wife. Mata it is not late, open the blindfold and show your grandsons the true path of dharma.'
Gandhari agreed and she opened her blindfold. She was declared as the caretaker ruler of HP along with Duryadhana. Kunti decided to leave everything and went to sage Ved Vyas's ashram to repent for her deeds. Everyone was happy and then Karna and Avni left.
80 years later,
Dury was old now. Few years back Pandavas and Draupadi went for Mahaprasthan to reach heaven but all of them failed and died on their journey. Dury was sick and he knew soon he also had to die. Today his condition was very bad and doctor said that maybe today was his last day. He had no regret as he and his sons and nephew were able to establish equality in Aryavart. Aryavart was now a properous and united kingdom. So now he was calmly waiting for his death. All his family members were sitting around him. Suddenly the entire room was engulfed with bright light and everyone closed their eyes. Only Duryodhana saw that Dev Vasusen was sitting on his 'Rashmi Rath'. He smiled and said, 'Mitra its time now.Come we have to go.' Duryodhana just smiled and raised his hand to touch his friend who by his love changed his entire life......
