Asurlok,

Bhyankarasur called all the warriors and planned to launch a direct attack on Dwarka. As now sunlight was back so Devs got their power back so it would be futile to attack Devlok. But they still had a chance to win over Mrityulok. Dwarka was powerful but Bhaynkarasur had confidence in his strength.

Bhyankarasur, 'I waited for this blood lunar eclipse so that without wasting any resources we could be the master of the three worlds. But that youngest of Suryadev ruined my plans. But we don't need to worry.......we have strong warriors and my sons got boons from Mahadev.  So we could win Mrityulok. Even the Avatar of Vishnu cannot defeat us...'

Shandasur, 'Yes father, but we have a situation. Every time before our war, our Guru Shukracharya did our Tilak. Now he left, so who will do it.'

Bhayankarasur, 'Ha...I don't need any blessings or tilak. We are strong, powerful and that's enough to win.'

Biralakkho, 'But father what if tridev try to stop us?'

Bhaynkarasur, 'Son, even tridevs are also bound by the laws. No one can defy Brahmmadev's boon. So I am immortal. No one can have all the weapons of Tridevs and blessings of Tridevis together. It is impossible. One can only get the boon from just one dev and devi. So no one can kill me.'

Shandasur, 'First let us go to Hastinapur, then we will gather all our allies there and march towards Dwarka.'

While in Suryalok,

Devi Sangya and Chaya along with other devis brought Suryadev and Arun back to Suryalok. Both Suryadev and Arun were tremendously weak but both of them were proud of their son/nephew and the daughter-in-law. The way both of them saved everyone from the disaster was really something that even Devraj or other Dev together could not achieve.  In the meantime, Karna also returned to Suryalok along with Lord Hanuman. He rushed to his father and hugged him.

Karna, 'Pitashri, how are you? I was so tensed about you.' 

Suryadev, 'I am good Karna, I am happy that you fulfill my duty with such perfection. Putri Avantika, I am grateful to you, Suryalok is honored to have such a daughter-in-law. I am also feeling honored to be the Guru of Hanuman as well. Today you helped my son in saving the entire universe. As a teacher, it gives me immense pleasure to see your success.'

Avni, 'Father, it is my duty, but now you and kakashri take rest.'

Karna, 'Now we need to prepare for our fight with Bhyankarasur.'

Lord Viswakarma, 'My dear grandson, for this upcoming mahayudh, me and Agnidev prepared a chariot for you. It is called "Rashmi". This celestial chariot is the fastest in the entire universe. It also had a protective shield that will protect you from all harm.'

Lord Hanuman, 'Dear Karn, in this fight I will stay with you in your chariot. I will present in the flag of your chariot and will give you strength. My roar will create fear in your enemies heart.'

Brhammadev, 'My son, I am giving you my "Kamalasan" (the divine seat of Brahmmadev). This lotus will create a protective dome over your Chariot which will deflect all illusions and weapons coming to you.'

Vishnu, 'And my 8th incarnation will be your charioteer. I will show you the path of Dharm in your war against evil.'

Mahadev, 'I am giving you my Rudraksh mala. It will calm your mind during the war and help you to take proper decisions.'

Then all Devs gave their blessings to Karna. Pavandev and Varundev gave him two horses which were the fastest horse of the entire universe. Nagraj Vasuki and Sheshnag turned into the reins of the chariot. Indra gave the wheels the strength of Vajra which could withstand all forces. On the other hand, Devi Parvati gave Avantika a 'Lion' as her mount for the war. All devis gave her their weapons. Suryadev also gave her a protective Kavach just like Karna's.  Now both the God of War and Goddess of  Protection were ready to face their greatest enemy.

In Dwarka,

Krishna ordered everyone to come to the court.

Krishna, 'Devi Avantika defeated the Pisachraj and freed Surydev and Arun. Now tomorrow Surydev will again come back to the sky and Karna can start the preparation of the war. But we also need to help them in the upcoming war. Karna had a boon to make his own army but we also need to help him in the war. So we need to prepare the army of Dwarka. By there is no compulsion as we are going to face the Asurs. So anyone who wants to back off can do it now.'

Duryodhana, 'I am in. I cannot let my Mitra and Bhabishri alone. I know they are powerful Gods but still I want to have the honor to fight along with them. Atleast it will give me redemption.'

Both Vikarna and Yuyutsu also agreed with him.

Arjun, 'I will also fight along with my brother and Bhabishri.'

All Pandavas, Up-pandavas, Avimanyu, warriors of Dwarka, even Drupad, Shikhandini and Dhrishtadyumna also wanted to take part in the war.

Bheesm, 'Krishna, I also wanted to fight. But I don't know why I cannot use my celestial weapons. Even Drona also cannot recall anything. Why?'

'It is called Karmfall, Bheesm,' came a voice.

Everyone turned to see Devi Ganga.

Everyone, 'Pranipat Devi Ganga.'

Devi Ganga, 'Kalyan ho, Devbrat, it is because of a curse you get from Maharaj Shaubal. When you forced Gandhari to marry your blind Grandson, a dejected father cursed you that one day when Kuruvansh is going to face it's destruction, then we will forget all your celestial weapons and lose your power. On the day when you will need your weapons most, all your knowledges will be forgotten and then you will see your family's destruction by your own eyes. But you cannot do anything to stop it. It is the curse of a grieving father Bheesm which you have to face. Today is the day when you needed your strength most but look what a cruel game of fate. You cannot do anything.'

Bheesm cried, 'No Mata, please, for God's sake don't do this. I know it's my fault but don't punish my grandsons for my mistakes.'

Gandhari, 'Devi, does it mean that now our Kul is going to be destroyed by the Asurs.'

Ganga, 'Your sons Dusshasshan and others are responsible for the downfall but don't worry. Before his death SHaubal realized the gravity of his curse, so he prayed the almighty to lift it. A curse cannot get lifted but its effect can be lessened. So you Kul will face deaths and destruction but it will not be annihilated. Those who redeemed can be forgiven. But Bheesm, your sins are too big, so from now on you cannot fight. All your knowledges are lost forever.'

Arjun, 'But what about Acharya.'

Ganga, 'It is the curse of Hiranyadhanush, Eklavya's father. He cursed Drona that one day he will face utter humiliation because of his disciple and betrayal from his own son. Also at the time of need he will forget all his knowledges which are his pride. But now if you Kuruvanshi's want to save the humanity then help your brother in the upcoming war.'

Yudhistir, 'Devi, we will do everything to establish Dharma and punish the sinners who have dared to imbalance mother earth.'

Devi Ganga, 'Vijayee Bhava.'

Devi Ganga vanishes. After sometime when everyone was preparing for the war suddenly a bright light appeared in front of them and from the light both Karna and Avni stepped out. Everyone present there first got startled. The elders were confused about whether to bow in front of them or not....though Karna and Avni as humans were younger than them but they were Gods. But when Bheesm bowed in front of them, Avni said, 'Pitamaha, please don't do this. You are still our elders. Nothing has changed between us.'

Bheesm, 'Dev Vasusen, Devi Avantika, I am such a helpless Pitamaha that today I can't even help my grandson. I lost all my knowledges when I needed them the most.'

Karna, 'Don't think like that Pitamaha. We all have to endure our Karmfall. But you see, now you can at least retire from your burden. You have suffered for a long due to your duties. Now it's time for you to rest at last.'

Krishna, 'Dev Vasusen, we need to think about a strategy.'

Karna, 'Pravu, please at least you don't call me Dev. It's still your best friend Karna, so call me by my name.'

Krishna, 'Okay Karna as you wish.'

Next, all the warriors met at the war room to plan a proper strategy to fight the war. 

Avni, 'Bhrata Shani informed us that Bhayankarasur along with his sons came to Hastinapur. Soon they will march towards Dwarka. So we need to reach a proper place where we can fight the war. It is not good to start a war near Dwarka city. It will create more casualties.'

Balram, 'But Bhaynkarasur and his son's have boons from Brahhmmmadev and Mahadev. In fact, no one knows about the boons his sons get from Mahadev as he promised them not to reveal it to anyone.'

Karna, 'I know but we need to think of something about it. For now, we have to face both Asurs and Dusshasshan along with Shakuni, Aswatthama and Kauravas.'

Shikhandini, 'Bhaynkarasur will also get help from allied kingdoms like Chedi, Rukmi, Narakasur, Bhagdatta etc.'

Arjun, 'Also I don't think they will fight fairly. I mean they will use illusions, conspiracies, secret assassinations.'

Avantika, 'Don't worry about that. Dev Kaalbhairav himself promised me to protect our camp during the night after the war. So if they tried to attack us then, it will be death to them.'

 Vasudev, 'I also send our messengers to our allied kingdoms like Madra, Matsya, Magadha, Kalinga etc. Soon they will also be here. Then we will show those Asurs the power of us humans. And as God of War and Goddess of Protection are with us along with my sons, then no one can defeat us.'

Karna, 'No Maharaj, Pravu Krishna or Balram cannot take part in this war. Before coming here Lord Mahadev told us that no Devs except me and Avantika or any Avatar of them can fight in this war.'

Balram, 'What..but why?'

Karna, 'I don't know, but Lord Vishnu also said that though they cannot fight but have to present in the battlefield.'

Krishna smiled, 'I understand. Okay Both me and Dau will present on the battlefield but will not fight. I will be his charioteer.'

Drupad, 'But why did Mahadev give such an order?'

Krna, 'He is the Dev Ko Dev. So there must be a very good reason behind his order and we have to obey it. I have a guess that maybe it is somehow related with the boon he gave to the Asurs.'

in Kailash,

Mahadev smiled, 'Karna, you are very intelligent. You guessed it right.'

Flashback,

Biralakkho, 'Pravu, I want a boon that I can only be killed by a Dev. But neither any dev or devi who are worshipped now nor their Avatars will fight with me. 

Mahadev, 'Tathasthu.'

Mahadev, 'Biralakkho, you are very clever. You asked such a boon that no devs, devis who are worshipped then or their Avatar will fight with you. So you cannot get defeated. But my dear, now we have a Dev and Devi who was not worshipped at that time. Karna and Avni turned into Gods now, so no one till now worshipped them. They are the ones' who are going to defeat you.'
